Risas is a really good office. I love coming here and have no issues. Every time has been quick and their payment options are great, so that I don’t have to pay in full in one visit. Dr. Pool is so nice and doesn’t make the visit feel scary. Liz was great and made sure I was comfortable my whole visit.

This is the best dental experience I have had in a long time, Maria was very kind and explained the procedures before hand. I don’t think you will get a better deal anywhere else as well. Dr. Pool is the best, definitely felt comfortable during the entire process.

First time at Risas and it was a quick and easy process. The staff was very friendly and helped ease my nerves. They made sure that they answered all my questions and made sure that I had the information that I needed. 10/10 would recommend. Dr. Lee and Mari were great, they were super chill and professional. I had a great new patient visit at Life Smiles Dental Care. I recently transferred from a different dental office and I had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff were friendly and kind. New patient paperwork was brief. Dulce gave me an overview of what I could expect from the appointment and took my x-rays. She was very nice and made me feel at ease. Dr. Bishop had great bedside manner and was knowledgeable and friendly. I had an issue I wanted him to look at and he deep dived into the problem and offered me a few solutions which I appreciated. After Dr. Bishop did my exam, Maryellen was my hygienist and she took great care into cleaning my teeth and looking to make sure everything was healthy. She clearly communicated what she was doing and I appreciated that. Everyone who assisted was very thorough and it was apparent they put pride into their work. I will definitely be a patient for a long time!

This review is solely based on the experience I had with Dr. Nelson, the staff and billing department . Dr is very nice, gentle and knowledgeable listening to your concerns and provides a great customer service and all the dental assistance and hygiene that my husband ( he sees Dr. Schmidt ) and I personally worked with are very nice. I had few challenges with the billing department as they send me a bill after I paid the full outstanding balance, however they took care of the issue. Will recommend this dental office if you are looking for a quality work, just make sure you are provided with a cost before starting the procedure to avoid any surprises.

I have tried a lot of dentists over the years but without a doubt they are the best. Starting with the front desk staff, Keri in particular, all respond back immediately and try hard to accommodate my crazy schedule as much as possible. The teeth cleaning professionals have the most modern tools, making it fast and painless. Finally the doctors are great. They give you treatment options and never make you feel like you they just want to push more than you really need.

I had a terrible experience with my last 3 dentists and have been terrified to get any teeth cleanings. I even waited 3 years before I was willing to be seen. The team at Life Smiles was so kind and helpful in ensuring I felt no pain and they adjusted their methods to fit my needs. I wish I could give them a higher rating than 5 stars but thank you for making me comfortable and hearing me! See you in 6 months!

I had a fantastic first visit with Dr. Timothy Schmidt. The office is modern, spotless, and very professional. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was friendly, organized, and thorough—they made the check-in process smooth and easy. Dr. Schmidt gave a detailed dental assessment and explained everything clearly. He was kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease. His assistant was also excellent—attentive, professional, and very supportive throughout the appointment. I truly felt well cared for by the entire team. Highly recommend Dr. Schmidt and his staff!

I have been a patient of Life Smiles for about 15 years. Kelli has been my hygienist for most of that time. She is an amazing professional, and an amazing person. My teeth look and feel great, and there is never any pain or discomfort when she is working.

Honestly so far I love the warm welcoming of this dentist office and there staff, very helpful and made me feel very comfortable with coming in and talking about everything I need and want but also helping in making sure my journey is smooth and convenient for me as mom with a budget. So far I have not started anything but will definitely keep an update on my experience with but so far I definitely recommend this dental office to start your journey with people who really do want to help.☺️

Everyone treated me with love and respect. Erica with the c was the best. Her energy was a ten out of ten.Louise was great. The Doctor was wonderful and Erica with the k was also great. My neighborhood dentist for the past three years! The atmosphere is always friendly, welcoming, and clean. The staff constantly asks if you’re okay throughout procedures and meticulously explains everything they are doing as they work. They listen to me as a patient. It is hard to enjoy a dental experience, they make it as enjoyable as possible!

The staff & Dr. Harsini were great, very pleasant experience however billing is a whole other story. I was billed for uncovered services by insurance, turns out those services were not billable to the patient. This was brought the the billing coordinator’s attention in early February. Two weeks ago I was told I would get a check issued and I have yet to hear from them. My follow up email was not replied to and the office has not given a care to give me a follow up call. Service from the doctor and staff was great however the patient is billed for the treatment appointment upfront- then fail to reimburse in a timely matter.

We love everyone at that office but this last time in particular they had a new orthodontist staff member named Victoria. My son has been going there for his braces for a few years now. Victoria was super thorough and explained in detail everything that was going on with my son to me and to my son. She gave us some information that we weren’t aware of prior and ways to have improvement. I hope you keep her as a permanent staff member because you can tell right away she is very professional and knows what she is doing. She made us both feel very informed and we were very happy with the interaction we had with her.

I’ve been to this clinic for a couple of years now. I’ve had extensive work done over those years and the results have been amazing, I’ve even recommended them on numerous occasions and could not stop talking about how great they are. 5 starts for Dr. Harsini, Lala, David, Victoria, and a few others who’s names I don’t remember. Staff has always been welcoming and accommodating. They have worked as a team to get me to where I am today with my dental health. Reason for my 2 star is I do not recommend getting braces/Invisalign at this location. Ever since the start of my treatment there are constant issues where the front staff/billing is telling me I don’t have insurance, and they will give me the runaround saying I’ll get a call back(I’ve had the same insurance since 2022.) I learned they never submitted a claim to my insurance to begin with and they wanted me to pay for the remainder of treatment to be seen when I had already payed half before treatment even started. I’ve had to call multiple times to finally get an answer and when I spoke to the manager she reassured me these issues would be resolved. I refrained from writing a negative review because I decided to give them another chance. In the meantime they made me wait for them to figure things out while my trays where broken and my teeth where starting to move back. When I was finally seen, to my surprise I was no longer seen by David who had handled the treatment from the beginning. I was instead seen by another individual who was asking me where my trays where and when I told her I was there to get my refinements she just handed me trays and asked me to put them on. I asked if I could at least wash my hands first and the trays of course didn’t fit as I’d gone a couple of days without them. She was ready to just have me get rescanned and go back when I had already been scanned in march and it was currently may. I want to say Thank you to Victoria for stepping in and saving me from another rescan and waiting even longer for trays. She helped get the trays placed and we got them to fit properly. Fast forward to July, this is where I decided to finally write my negative review. I was told in may I’d be scheduled in July and was given a date. I never received a notification or reminder to my apt so when I called and asked about the date and then waited for my call back, I was only told about a cleaning. And it was assumed I no longer have braces in place ‍♀️. I very well still have them in place and I’m now waiting for a call back for ortho apt which should have already been scheduled, this once again prolonging treatment. I still also have the issue of buttons that where never placed at my refinement stage that where marked on my treatment plan. ‍♀️. Issues discussed with the manager have clearly not been resolved and while staff is friendly, “friendly” doesn’t fix teeth, staff doing their jobs correctly does.

This place is really amazing!! From the front desk to the back office and the doctor. All was great. Unfortunately I was denied on the financing due to credit issues. Nonetheless I’m still going to be using them as my forever dental office.

I take my son for his check ups and every time I’m greeted By front office. Paola is always quick to.check us in very efficient. the wait to see doctor is very short. And treatment needed is explained in detail.

Dr. Olsen is an amazing orthodontist, he’s experienced, attentive, and truly cares about each patient. If my entire treatment had been with him, I believe my results would’ve been great. However, I would not recommend getting braces at this location overall. After starting with Dr. Olsen, I was suddenly switched to other orthodontists who did not follow the original treatment plan. They were inconsistent and didn’t seem to have the same level of attention to detail. Because of that, my bite is now misaligned and my teeth didn’t turn out the way I expected. It’s extremely disappointing considering the time and money put into this.

Everyone was nice and the work and hygiene were to the highest standard. My only problem was that the dr did do a very good job, there was a space between my teeth after he did the fillings. The space was so bad that I had to go to another dentist to fix it.

One Word: Disappointing
This place consistently overbooks appointments, and as a patient, you won’t feel like a priority. I’ve been coming here for over 3 years and have seen multiple main dentists come and go. Each time, I’ve been given a different date for when my braces would come off and every single time, that date passed with no progress.

I once had an emergency and missed an appointment, and the next available one was two months out. I had even discussed coming in every two weeks with the dentist so I could get my braces off by the end of summer, as promised. Instead, they pushed it to July 30th. I was promised this early May.

On top of all that, they charge extra and have gone against their own contract time and time again.

I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

I am writing this review because I had a great experience during my dentist appointment. Norma, the dental assistant, was very kind and Dr. Corbridge was very nice and professionally explained the process and did a great job. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a good dentist.

I’ve had bad oral health for a long time. Bad habits along with little to no teaching in how to take care of my teeth made them pretty bad in shape and color. Despite it, I never felt shamed by the assistants or employees. They’re super sweet nice, they explain well and speak very good Spanish! I recommend people who are embarrassed of their teeth but want to start taking care of them to go here, they’re amazing

I had gone there to get some cavities fixed and after the fillings felt weird… I ask a different dentist to take a look and was told they did a horrible job went back to get them redone and they still didn’t do a good job… staff and dentist are nice but as far as dental work I don’t recommend

STAY AWAY from this office and all their other locations. I went to 43rd but it seemed they were money hungry. Went to 75th ave & the dentist is GREAT hence the one star. Horrible company. They are DESPERATE for money. Asked them to not bill my old jobs insurance and that I have ahcccs now and they billed it anyway just because ahcccs denied ONE out of two teeth. Granted, the old jobs insurance was still active even though I told them I don’t want them to use it since I submitted an appeal with ahcccs to get it covered. I just received both letters from both insurances today & that’s how I found out. I even went out of my way and called ahcccs prior to getting my teeth pulled and they said it would be covered with the $1,000 emergency dental. That’s why we ended up doing the extractions because I told them I had no money to pay it. Otherwise, I would have rescheduled. They kept trying to keep having me back but why would I when they don’t listen or do their job with the insurance or send meds when you NEED them. I had to call all the time just to finally get antibiotics a week later after realizing how bad the infection was regardless if the xray didn’t show it. I referred a coworker there and they wanted her to do it there too even though she needs to be put under. They don’t offer laughing gas either. They wanted to do her implants even though she needs an oral surgeon. Anything so they get to bill you instead of another office.

UPDATE: AHCCCS did cover it the first time hence why the appeal was denied because they lied about that too. I should’ve known they were money hungry when they wouldn’t even try to get the PA approved through AHCCCS & I had to call them. All cuz they just wanted me to pay out of pocket.

Amazing staff! They are very attentive, knowledgeable, & caring. They get down to the bottom of the issue and fix it. They give you treatment options to fit your budget. Just like the name says “Walk in – Same Day Treatment,” they truly mean it 10/10 recommend.

I initially went in three weeks ago. I was little skeptical about going in but decided to go in since they had walk ins. The staff and doctor were super friendly and nice since the start. I got an x ray and ended up needing a root canal. They took care of me that same day. The procedure was pretty quick and relatively painless. The staff and dentist were very friendly and caring making sure it was as painless as possible. The consultation and procedure was really affordable. I would highly recommend them. they took great care of me and I had a great experience.

I woke up in extreme pain a few days ago. Was hoping pain subsided but it got worse. I see this dental clinic everyday driving to work. I looked them up and saw the reviews and decided to give them a try. And thank God I did. The staff was amazing and courteous. The Dr was cool man. Made you feel relaxed. When it came to the extraction I was so nervous and before I knew it he was done! There was no pain in the extraction at all. Everyone knows you get nervous at dentist but this was a great experience. I would recommend to anyone in pain and needing extraction!

These folks are the absolute best. I had a tooth that became very loose and needed attention. Starting with Paula at the front desk and ending with Dr. Chang they took excellent care of me. In addition to extracting the damaged tooth that was causing me great discomfort, they also performed and complete exam and gave me dental care directions for moving forward. Dentist Dr. Chang DDS. Is the best dentist I have ever been to in my travels. I had an abscesses tooth & it was very bad. Dentist Chang gave me 1 shot & not in 3 different places with the 1 shot. The tooth numbed quickly & the extraction was painless & quick. It was out. Everyone was courteous & kind bc most people they see are n a lot of pain. They except walk ins & appointments. The price was the best I have seen anywhere. The facility is clean inside & nicely decorated. Relaxing is encouraged & the atmosphere is set up for the clients to b calm & enjoy. I will b returning for more of my dental needs bc of the personal attention & the price + the best Dentist I have ever had work on my teeth. Thank you Dr Chang & his staff for the help you gave me.

I went in last wednesday, the staff I encountered were super respectful and professional with their work all while being humorous haha! Also they got my appointment in pretty quick considering I didn’t have one prior. This is a great place to go if you’ve ever had a bad experience at a dental office like this! Totally changed my mind.

Brought my mom here to deal with a severe pain she’s had in her back molar for months. I’m so glad I brought her here. The entire staff was very kind, respectful, and considerate of her anxiety/nervousness around being at the dentist (she hadn’t been in 10+ years). She was able to get a root canal and temporary crown placed same day. Space was super clean and professional, and staff spoke Spanish too. The dentist Dr. Chang was very nice and attentive, and my mom told me she didn’t feel any pain during her procedure. Recommend a lot for Spanish speaking folks without insurance like my mom, really quality service and genuinely kind people. Thank you for taking care of my mom!

Fantastic service! They actually listen to you and take your wants into consideration. Front desk greeted me with a smile and answered my questions, Luis was gentle yet thorough, Dr.Mchale was personable and listened to what i wanted, Christal broke down what my cost was, and they were able to do my filling same day. I’ve had a poor experience during almost all of my (less than 5?) appointments… not to mention the incessant text reminders to schedule a cleaning.

My first or second appointment here the dentist gave me some toothpaste to take home which I thought was pretty typical since I’ve had previous dentists do this for FREE… so I left the appointment with the toothpaste only to get a text 20 min later saying I have a $28 balance, so I called the office back and asked if I could just return the toothpaste since I didn’t know it was going to be $28. She said yes which was nice I guess?? But then I had to go out of my way to make another trip back there when they could have mentioned the cost when I was still there. Annoying…

Most recently, I visited to have my permanent retainer glued back on after one half popped off and the dentist glued it back on too tight so now my teeth are crooked.. a few months after he glued it back on that same side popped off again so I made an appt to just have the whole thing taken off. I waited in the dentist chair for over 30 minutes just for them to tell me that they actually recommend the same dentist that glued it on previously should take it off, but he’s not here right now so you’ll have to make another appointment and come back next week.. so they gave me some wax to cover the part of the retainer that popped off until my next appointment because it is stabbing me in the tongue… should have been a pretty simple procedure but whatever. Also when I told the front desk lady why I wanted it off aka that my teeth are crooked now she just said “okay”.

This place sucks except for Luis he is the homie.

Another great visit to Paradise Ridge Dentistry. Stephanie is an amazing hygienist, being attentive to not only the cosmetics of dentistry, but treating with an awareness of health safety, and ensuring minimal risk of infection. I couldn’t ask for a better professional to care for my oral health.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart the wonderful volunteers that came together on Labor Day to help those who don’t have dental insurance like myself. My teeth felt amazing afterwards. Thank you for the breakfast, pastries, water & coffee. Every year I tell everyone about what your organization does to help people about getting some dental care. I was experiencing tooth pain for the longest time (months) , all sensitivity to cold only and it was unbearable. I went to several dentists to help find the issue & no one got it right. Until I scheduled to risas, after my first check up the doctor who treated me knew what I needed right away, it was my first root canal so I was kinda nervous but it went great & I have no pain at all anymore! Doctor was super nice & helpful throughout my operation. Front staff and billing are always super nice & accommodating. They help with payment plans and make it easy. I def recommend this place to anyone with tooth pain ! thank you

This dental office is extremely professional and everyone is so friendly. They were also flexible with setting up finances which allowed me to get the urgent work I needed. Super grateful with the staff!

This dental office is a complete waste of time. I’ve had several late appointments scheduled, and they always find an excuse to reschedule me. They advertise that they close at 8 pm, but they always manage to reschedule you. What if I never pick up the phone? I would have shown up to my appointment and been out of luck. I highly recommend finding another dental office in the valley that is very professional and won’t reschedule you every time you make a late appointment so they can leave the office early. They have the audacity to laugh about it when you call them out on it.

As a professional driver, I prioritize providing a smooth and respectful experience for passengers. However, my recent trip with a rider that works here and she was disappointing from the start. Upon entering the vehicle, she did not acknowledge me with a simple greeting, which set a tone of disregard. When I attempted to confirm her name, she responded curtly, which, while acceptable, lacked basic courtesy.

Navigating to the drop-off location, my GPS directed me to turn after a nearby store, requiring a longer route. Despite having knowledge of the area, she did not offer any assistance, leading to unnecessary delays. Upon arrival, she exited without a thank you or any acknowledgment of the trip.

If this is the standard level of respect from individuals at this location, I will not be returning. Professionalism and courtesy are essential in any interaction, and experiences like this make it clear when they are lacking.

I’ve had both good and bad experiences at this location, but unfortunately, the bad outweigh the good.

1. I strongly disagree with their policy of requiring pre-payment for services. Booking an appointment should not mean you’re obligated to pay upfront before receiving any care.

2. More seriously, despite having a documented allergy to epinephrine in my chart, a staff member administered it with my anesthetic. This triggered a reaction and exacerbated my heart arrhythmia. No one in the office, including the dentist, took the situation seriously. I had to call my husband to bring emergency medication to the office. Their lack of accountability and concern was deeply troubling and ultimately led me to seek care elsewhere.

I went to Risas Dental and my visit was amazing ! Maleny had brought me back and took my X-rays. Then Zulema cleaned my teeth and did a wonderful job if you are looking for a new dental office this is the one for you especially with the back office assistants !

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, they all made me feel comfortable during my dental visit. Adriana was so attentive, she answered all my questions, set up a treatment plan and scheduled me accordingly. Highly recommend

I visited Western dental for a dental and orthodontist consultation for my daughter. Dr Ortiz was very nice and friendly. She explained the process and issues very well. Adriana the financial person, when over the options we had to proceed with the service by giving a discount for the day. Everyone was very sweet and kind. I’ll recommend this place for it’s service and the personnel’s treatment.

I feel like they discriminated against me. I went in because their website and a huge sign said new patients without insurance get a free exam and X-rays. That’s the only reason I booked. But when I showed up, they told me it would be $104. I mentioned the free exam and they said it was only for orthodontics, which made no sense.

I called customer service and they confirmed the offer is for general dentistry. I went back inside and waited 10 minutes at the front desk before someone named Miguel showed up. I explained everything again and he doubled down, now saying it would be $130. At that point I knew they just didn’t want to honor the promo.

I checked their reviews later and saw others got the free general exam. It felt like they assumed I wasn’t going to spend money, so they didn’t bother with me.

Then after I posted a negative review, a bunch of fake-sounding five-star reviews appeared. It’s obvious they’re trying to hide honest feedback.

This place was shady and felt unfair. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I haven’t been to a dentist in a very long time due to a combination of bad insurance and serious phobia, tooth pain forced me to come on and the technician Miguel was great. Quick with everything that was needed and kept the conversation going to help relieve some of my stress! Fantastic work from the whole office!

The service here was quick and so smooth especially dealing with the tooth pain I had Miguel was such a sweet and kind person ! Definitely recommend and will be back again for more work.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this Dental office. The staff is welcoming and warm. The hygienists are friendly and thorough. The Dentist, a kind and friendly woman, is knowledgeable and takes time to explain your options. So far, so good.

I have been having an amazing experience with this office! All of the staff is so sweet! I had a great experience with the front desk, the dental hygienist, and the dentist Dr Jaclyn Orozco. I told them that I was nervous when it come to dentist offices, and they all made sure to make me feel so welcomed, and put my mind at ease.
If you’re looking for a place with kind and compassionate care, this is the office to go to.

I spent my whole life hating visits to the dentist, but since moving to Phoenix I’ve had many excellent dentists and hygienists. Thomas Dental is my favorite. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Orozco is kind, efficient and professional. And Miguel (my hygienist) is the very best at his job, and has changed my life. I recommend this office to everyone.

Received a wonderful cleaning from the assigned hygienist. Unfortunately, I do not recall her name. She was extremely informative and educative.
Unfortunately my experience fell flat very quickly. My entire appointment took 3 hours. Understandable, this was my first appointment and there are many parts that go into that but 3 hours is a lot. Additionally, they texted me asking if I could come in 30 minutes early from my originally scheduled time but still, my appointment ran late and well into 3 hours. I am new to handling my own insurance and healthcare visits so I am not familiar with procedures and costs and their administration made this process extremely difficult. Originally, I was quoted X amount for the cleaning. Once I got to the counter, I was then charged an additional $120. The charge was for a 3D scan of my teeth and as I was told by the hygienist, it was procedure and “something we do for all of our patients.” When i spoke with the staff about this charge, they said it was an accident and that they were at lunch so that the manager must have gotten busy and added the charge. ????????
I asked for multiple receipts over the phone, asking if they could send them via email. It took 3 phone calls before I was finally able to retrieve my receipts for both my $120 refund and an itemized statement of the procedures done. This was a scary experience for me as it was my first time handling healthcare procedures on my own. I just felt blindsided and completely taken advantage of.
Again, the dental professions were extremely informative and helpful in terms of what to do to maintain healthy teeth.

I just want to give a huge shoutout to Thomas Dental for the outstanding care that my husband and I received. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive.

They took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure we were comfortable throughout the visit, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel cared for—not just as patients, but as people.

If you’re looking for a dentist who treats you like family and delivers top-notch service, I can’t recommend Thomas Dental enough!
