On the recommendation of many, I finally visited this place while working nearby. Absolutely fantastic!

This is your go-to spot for specialty Italian grocery items, plus an incredible selection of desserts, sandwiches, hot dishes, and more!

The staff was very friendly, and we arrived early to beat the lunch rush.

I wish they offered half-subs, as the sandwiches are huge—split one unless you’re really hungry!

Note: Bring cash to avoid a 4% card processing fee.

Excited to return and try more!

My wife told me about this spot that she’s driven by and wanted to check it out.. This place was amazing! Loved everything about it. Lol we ended up coming here 3 times in the same week. The food is so good and the pastries are top notch. Can’t wait to go back and try a different sandwich

This is the best Italian Deli and store in town. Great customer service and excellent food. Pasta, hot/cold subs, salads, and desserts. Deli meats and cheeses to go as well as pizzas and tins of Lasagna, Spaghetti, and ziti. Not to mention the excellent selection of imported seasonings, sauces, pastas and more. I had George’s Special sub, excellent!

In our ongoing search for hidden gems serving great food, we discovered Romanelli’s, an unassuming Italian deli, bakery, and grocery store that’s been serving the Valley for over 50 years. Despite driving past it countless times, we had no idea what we were missing.

With a 4.8-star rating and over 3,300 Google reviews, Romanelli’s lives up to the hype. Many of their items are made from scratch in-house, and it shows. The guys ordered subs, while I chose the lasagna dinner. As someone who makes lasagna regularly, I was blown away. The layers were packed with rich, complex flavors, and the portion was so generous I had plenty left over.

We couldn’t resist trying several desserts: Tiramisu, Key Lime Pie, a cream puff, and Almond Biscotti—all were top-notch. We even had a great chat with the owner, who proudly told us, “Italian food made by real Italians.”

If you’re craving authentic Italian fare with heart and history, Romanelli’s is a must-visit.

I rode in from Scottsdale while on my bike ride & I wanted something different & I remembered this place I missed placed my bike lock & the guy & the counter said don’t worry well watch it for you just put it to the side that’s how friendly & welcoming they are
And the food it’s like grandma’s cooking but it’s Italian is the best way I can put it i devoured that meal & the pasties was for the barber shop I usually go to up the road I always do my best to bring them snacks
So I differently come again & also the staffs in the back friendly as hell they make you feel so welcomed even down to the cashier’s & I seen them do that with every customers
So definitely a place you don’t wanna skip

This spacious Italian supermarket offers a wide selection of authentic Italian products, including imported goods, pasta, sauces, bread, pastries, and cookies. They also serve delicious sandwiches, with the chicken parm sandwich being a standout. While the parking lot is a bit small, the store’s interior is roomy, with seating available in the middle for dining. Prices are reasonable, and service is quick, though it’s recommended to bring cash as they charge an extra dollar for credit card transactions

I’ve been here twice, once for take-away and again today where our team dined inside and celebrated a retirement of one of our members. The staff were kind enough to let us bring a homemade cake in to enjoy after our meal. And of course, the food was amazing. 10/10 love this place, the pizza crust is so delicious

My experience at this location was exceptional!! We were greeted immediately upon our arrival. Our host gave us an option of where we wanted to sit. It was a little tight getting to our table, but not a big deal. Our server didn’t take long to get our drink order after we sat down. We were offered bread and butter to snack on while we waited for our food. The food was delicious! The pizza had a crispy crust, which I enjoy! The wings were also crispy! I do not like soggy wings! The battered mozzarella sticks had a nice cheese pull to them. And everything was nice and hot! Our server came to check on us several times! When we were done our server gave us fresh ranch dressing to take home! I can honestly say that I would definitely recommend this location!

We love ordering the family deal have their up and downs with the wings but can never complain. This past Saturday at 9:00 pm there was 2 hours till closing I placed the order over the phone for a HALF Hawaiian and HALF Cheese pizza end up getting a burnt pizza can’t even tell what the pizza is just pineapple everywhere. I called the next day only to get transferred to a manager then hanged up. No option for leaving a voicemail. They could have called back but didn’t. So sad wasting money when you are paying good money ($55)before tip.

The chicken was over cooked and tough to eat.. we got 3 chicken dinners and all 3 dinners was not good.

We didn’t want to finish the meal..

the additional parts of the dinner was raw and uncooked.. very strange.

The Tempe red devil is better.. phx red devil doesn’t have good staff or the cooks don’t care.. would not recommend phx red devil.

WORST service restaurant that I have been to in Phoenix in six years!

We ordered honey BBQ chicken wings and BBQ chicken pizza. The chicken wings were good, but the BBQ chicken pizza was NOT BBQ chicken pizza!! First of all, no BBQ sauce on the pizza. Secondly, only a couple chicken tiny pieces on the 14″ pizza. Most were just onions and cheese. I gave one piece to my toddler son, he didn’t want it at all (the one in the picture was for my son); My husband took one piece and didn’t want any more; I didn’t finish mine, I had to literally put the BBQ sauce from the chicken wings plate onto my pizza, but I didn’t finish, because it was bad!

When I told the waitress that I didn’t see any BBQ sauce or chicken, she took the pizzas away and said she would talk the manager (the manager was Melissa or something). When she came back, she said the burnt brown was the BBQ sauce, which was bullshit. That was cheese and the bread burnt. She didn’t return the pizzas and said would give us “discount”. What the heck was she talking about?! There’s no discount!! She literally took away our food and not returning it! There were 8-9 pieces of 14″ pizzas and we only took three pieces (one piece was not consumed), and the price was 20.99 dollars something! Instead of making the BBQ pizzas right, she took away our pizzas and our money. 20.99 dollars and only 11 dollars were deducted from the bill.

One example: if a customer said he wanted medium cook steak, but after a couple small cuts, he saw the steak served was rare and told the waiter. Should the restaurant take it back and make it right? Or, without giving the customer the option, the restaurant would take away the steak and still charge the customer partially?!

My visit was at about 8:30 on a Monday night. There were only a few customers at this time so no waiting to be seated.
I ordered a 10 inch “supremo” pizza. Which is basically a meat combination pizza with ham sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. The pizza was great with a sweet sauce. The pizza also came with some bread and butter. For only 13$ and some change it was a great value.
My only gripe would be that there were 2 Monday night football games and instead of showing the vikings bears game they had the falcons raiders game . But really it was a great visit i would definitely recommend.

We went to lunch with our Pastor, his wife and one of their daughters after service. This is their favorite restaurant. I love Italian food, so my hubby and I were thrilled to try Anzios. The waitress (Haley) was excellent. The food was outstanding. It wasn’t crowded and it was quiet inside. We didn’t have to wait for a table. It’s wheelchair friendly. The parking lot is small, but there were several handicap parking spaces available in front.

This was recommended by an employee of the Brass Armadillo.
I’m happy that I went.
Great cozy atmosphere, great, efficiency service, my order was accurate and the food overpasses the value. Went there with my 81 year old mother visiting from FL and she and I enjoyed lunch very much.
Great value for your money!

Our first time eating at Arzios Italian Restaurant was 2/14/25. It will definitely become a place we frequent often! We were there for an early dinner on Valentine’s Day around 4:30 p.m. They were already extremely busy. We had a choice of waiting 30 minutes for a table or to sit at the bar. We went with the bar and we were not disappointed. We had the Tuscan pasta with shrimp & the combination Italian plate. We both had the Caesar salad. It came with the most delicious Italian garlic bread. Both meals were outstanding! We had two glasses of Chianti red wine. The atmosphere, staff, and food were all exemplary! We highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

Decided to try this place while in town and went by the reviews. This was an average restaurant attempting to serve below average Italian style food. The food was edible but simply not great- I had the Shrimp Alfredo and it was way overcooked. It looked like buttered noodles with reheated/boiled shrimp, on a very old beat up plate. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo and hers was the same, overcooked chicken and noodles.
The Caesar salad was lettuce on a plate with a little shaved Parmesan, croutons and a little cup of kraft Caesar dressing on the plate. Looked cafeteria style. The wine selection was so weak, I didn’t even order anything for the meal.
The service was only average, and the atmosphere was clean but a little stereotypical “Italian” decor.
This may be the best option for Italian in this town, but a little disappointing for someone who loves true Italian cuisine.

The food was delicious. We started with Toasted Cheese Ravioli. It was nicely breaded and crispy served with red sauce. Nice start to our dinner.

I ordered Parmigiana (eggplant), which came with spaghetti on the side with a house salad. My husband had the Tuscan Pasta with chicken, which also had a side salad. We rounded out the meal with garlic bread.

The wait staff was lovely and attentive. Our water glasses were quickly refilled, and food came out hot and in a timely fashion.

There is no room for dessert. We took home leftovers that were as good the next day.

This is my first time ever coming to this pizza establishment. My dad and I ate some lunch here, and the pizza and service was really good. The pizza was delicious and cooked nicely. Not to burnt, not to soggy, just the right kind. The atmosphere here was soothing to say the least, with jazz music playing, and decorations surrounding us. Overall, it was an amazing experience and i loved it!

I recently got to experience Cibo for the first time after my brother and mom had been going for years. They were not lying about the quality of food. This is the only restaurant I’ve been to where sitting outside is exciting. The patio is cooled with misters, trees, canopies, and umbrellas. It makes sitting outdoors enjoyable, and the lights make the space magical at night. We enjoyed live music as well, which was especially nice. The staff here is attentive and friendly, so I’m glad that my brother, Michael, has the opportunity to work alongside them. This is the perfect spot for a nice date downtown!

Wonderful time at CIBO. We did make reservations for 6 of us and we’re celebrating a birthday. We sat outside. Although it was summer, it was in the evening and they had misters on so it was cool. The food was pretty good. We got a mix of pizzas and pastas to try. The Nutella crepe was great for dessert. I’d definitely come back for the pizza.

Let me start off with a shout out to Jesus for some the best service in a long time. Funny, knowledgeable and great at his job. There’s nothing bad I can say about this place. The pizza is immaculate, the pasta is delicious, the limoncello was the best ever. It’s so cute and cozy inside and out. Everyone was friendly, it’s so nice yet really laid back. Every single part of my and my family’s meal, including the dessert I forgot to photograph, was fantastic. Cibo deserves 10/10 and that’s what I’m scoring it! Can’t wait to go back and try some other pizzas. The best crust I’ve EVER HAD.

My family and I recently visited this restaurant excited to try a new Italian restaurant, and we found the atmosphere and service to be quite enjoyable. While the ambiance and overall aesthetic were certainly present, the food itself was just adequate. We particularly enjoyed the chef’s special pasta, the Conchiglioni Vodka, as it was truly delicious. The Margherita and Lil’ Peppa pizzas were also quite tasty, as I would expect since it’s pizza. Additionally, the Gnocchetti Sorrentina offered a commendable vegetarian pasta option. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the Pappardelle Bolognese, as it lacked a distinct flavor profile, with only a subtle hint of tomato. Despite its charming appeal. I believe this restaurant would make a good place for dates, I personally would not return primarily for the food though.

Good pizza. Joe was friendly as we got wine while waiting on a table…. Weird remark from our server apologizing for Joe though when he was definitely the most hospitable person we interacted with there. Calmari was good, not chewy and nice little bit of heat in the sauce was perfect.

My son’s girlfriend recommended this restaurant. I loved this place all staff was very friendly. It was pretty dark for daytime but that’s one of the many things that made it special. The candles were lit on the dining table that was really comfy, I might add. I regret that I didn’t get photos of the restaurant. I wasn’t anticipating reviewing it but did get a couple of pics of our food. I ordered a cheese lasagna. Which the portion was a little disappointing for the price but I was able to fill up on the delicious pizza. Ya gotta try this restaurant. Will go back for more images at a later date.

I try to be open minded as possible. Went there for Father’s Day. Dinner been eyeing this place for a couple of months We did a pizza with lasagna, and calamari with shrimp as an appetizer Have to say first. The pizza was truly amazing The reason for the lower score was because we did have a problem with the lasagna. The presentation was wonderful, but the first bite on the outer part of the lasagna. Was Luke warm at best. And then when I got to the middle, it was chill cold like the plate did not get heated up, let the waiter know who is very apologetic. Any immediately took the dish to the back. The manager that approach the table and apologized and said she was getting it warmed up, but it would take a while for her to warm up, which I was kind of confused because the food did come out really fast. After finishing the pizza which again was great. The lasagna still had not come back. I called over the waiter after about 20 minutes and said you know what just forget about the Lasagna. It’s been a good 20 to 25 minutes. About 10 minutes later. The manager came out with the bag and said she was sorry. But she took it off the the total and gave me the lasagna because she did not want to go to waste. So I thought. Well that’s fine. I appreciate it. I’ll just I guess. Have it for lunch tomorrow when I woke up in the morning and took the lasagna out of the fridge to take it to work. I opened it and saw that it was pretty much burnt. I don’t know where the miscommunication was, but I just wanted my food hot not burnt. I did not eat the lasagna.

Honestly, I came in pretty salty because I didn’t like where I sat annnd I was hangry lol, buuuuuuut… the service was amazing and it completely changed my mind! SHOUT OUT TO BRENDAN!! He took care of us and has great attention to his guests, and was giving great recommendations! The food was great! They told us 35 minute wait but it took 35 minutes total from arriving to sitting and getting our food! Amazing speed! Yes I actually timed it! Everyone here is really attentive to you. We got the pepperoni pizza and the lasagna and let me tell you, pizza came out hot and delicious! The lasagna doesn’t have meat but ITS AMAZING! Cheese in it is amazing and creamy! It was our first time going and I would definitely go back again! Brendan recommended a delicious shot of espresso with the chocolate cake which was a great combo! I definitely recommend you guys try it!!

Loved the ricotta lasagna — truly unique! Perfect balance of tomato sauce and cheese without being overly saucy. Tried the funghi and spicy Florentine pizza too — they were okay, but the lasagna definitely stole the show!

This is my favorite pizza in the world. Every time I go for work to Phoenix, I go there. My top 3: chicken bbq, salchicha / fennel & summer corn. The salads are fantastic & the beer selection are great. For coffee they serve French press, which makes s such a great touch.

This week’s specialty pizza is an absolute must, but don’t stop there. The bolganese is amazing….and I imagine anything you order at The Parlor Pizzeria would please the pallet. All of the staff encountered were friendly, professional and service was amazing. The Parlor Pizzeria….it’s a definite go for all of you foodies out there !

What a beautiful and cozy spot to grab a midday lunch! I’ve always wanted to try this place and finally was able to as I had an appointment in the area. The iced tea was refreshing, and FRESH brewed which is a big deal for me! We went to town on the charc board, appetizers, and pizzas as we wanted a lot of leftovers for dinner and lunch the next day.

The charc board was amazing. The pesto and red chili type jam was phenomenal and tasted house made. The cheeses, meats, olives, and breads were delicious and tasted freshly cut.

My husband ordered a side salad which seemed impressive in size and content. We ordered two pizzas to try – the funghi and the chili corn. Both amazing! The reheated leftovers tasted the exact same after a few minutes popped in the broiler.

This would make a great date spot for anyone, particularly with cooler weather and the option of sitting outside on the patio and near the fireplace at night. The cocktail menu seemed exceptional, and I only wish my visit was in the evening so I could have enjoyed one of those alongside my food.

Best Italian I’ve had in Phoenix! Came for a birthday dinner with friends, and every single thing on the menu was to die for. We were sat right away with no reservation. Started with the garlic bread with white truffle, crispy and rich. The meatballs melted in your mouth. The highlight was the seared scallops with sweet corn risotto. We also got the spicy rigatoni with sausage (very very mild spice). The drinks were yummy and the environment was warm and inviting. We spent several hours there and never felt rushed, Katja was our server and she made the night even more special. We will be back!!

The pizza and white truffle garlic bread were so bomb and delicious I would definitely get that again. The food overall is delicious and flavorful. The drinks are pretty much strong. They have so much alcohol that overpower’s the taste of the fruits.

Great place, great food.

White Truffle garlic bread – Foccacia bread on top of cheese crisps, topped with ricotta cheese and garlic.

Beef Carpaccio – really good

Calamari Fritti – really good and the batter reminded me of Vietnamese fried bananas batter.

squid ink Tonnarelli – loved the black squid ink pasta. Al dente and it’s got a little mild spicy kick – highly recommended

Crushed meatball Ragu – surprisingly good. Loved the bucatini – highly recommended

Bolognese w/ pappardelle – I prefer the Squid Ink Tonnarelli and crushed meatball ragu.

Spicy broccolini – Al dente and yummy

Sweet corn and Fontina Polenta – not bad but I had better in South San Francisco

Tiramisu- yummy

Went to North Italia with my friends on a Saturday for lunch. The place was not that busy during that time and we were able to sit there for more than 2 hours. The food was really tasty and the service was very quick. The Sundae dessert was so delicious and mouthwatering. We had also ordered pasta and fig pizza, both the dishes were so good. It’s a nice place and would highly recommend it.

This location can be easy to miss if it’s your first time but once you arrive make sure to take advantage of the complimentary valet parking. Herring seated was quick and easy on a Sunday afternoon and our waiter was very friendly. We started off with appetizers of pizza and the cheesey buttery bread . Delicious!!!
I ordered the salmon and requested it to be cooked well instead of medium and was pleasantly surprised. Also ordered tiramisu for dessert and it looked lovely. The taste was a little different so I didn’t finish it but all in all a great time.

AMAZING FOOD! This was the best restaurant we had in AZ. Everything about the calamari was delicious even the shredded carrots and zucchini! We ordered a pizza and short rib pasta! The short rib was so good with the delicious house made noodles. Tender and flavorful short ribs. Pizza was wood fired and delicious but a little on the thin side. Drinks were good but could be stronger. Service was good!

We had such a great meal here! Everything we ordered was delicious, but our favorite had to be the zucchini chips—so crispy and flavorful. The steak was absolutely delish too, cooked perfectly. Honestly, there wasn’t a single dish we didn’t enjoy.

The staff was super attentive, and the food came out surprisingly fast, which made the experience even better.

The only downside was how hot it was in the dining area. With how warm it is outside, it would’ve been nice to have the AC running a little stronger. We were there for dinner after the sun had already gone down, and it still felt just as warm inside as it did outside when we walked out. Hope that was just a one off thing as we’ll def be back.

They will validate parking so keep that in mind!

We were looking for something not mexican and found this place. We did not have a reservation, but the staff only took 2 min to find us a seat. The staff was very friendly, even tho they were very busy that night. We ordered pasta with sausage sauce. They had gluten free, which was a treat. They meal was great, although mostly pasta, and just enough sauce. I was so hungry and it really hit the spot. We had creme brulee for dessert. Very lemony! The sugar topping was very crunchy. A refreshing enjoyable dessert for the hot weather. The coffee was excellent. Loved the decor!

Wow! My dinner here was superb. Kevin, our server, was excellent. He helped me pick just the right pasta and then helped me customize it so it was even better. Our food came out very quick and everyone in our party enjoyed their food. The appetizers were excellent, the cocktails delicious. I couldn’t have asked for a better meal or experience.

First off- it was incredibly hot and stuffy inside the restaurant. I started sweating after we were seated and considered leaving because it was so uncomfortable. We ordered drinks and an appetizer right away. The appetizer (whipped ricotta) was the highlight of the night and came out relatively quickly. When the appetizer was brought out we asked to order our entrees and the server said he’d get our waiter. We waited a good 15-20 minutes before he came by. We also didn’t get our drinks until we were basically done with our appetizer. After we ordered our entrees they came out quickly, but both me and my friend thought the food was pretty mediocre.

Food was great but don’t ever come as a large party. 20% auto gratuity and you’ll be ignored. Skip to the **s if you want my food review only. Here’s how the service went down:

Service from the staff and food runners was fine. Our server was another story entirely. She was very inattentive and rude. We were a party of 8 here for Phoenix fan fusion and all coming from different hotels. Some of us joined 5 and 10 minutes later than the first half, who got there immediately. The server was very pushy about the table and the members who were on the way still, but that’s not the worst part. During the service drinks weren’t refilled, we ran out of water and never got more. The server spent her time 15 feet behind us loudly laughing and talking about her personal life around the bartenders and completely ignored us multiple times. We would have to look behind ourselves for about 2 or 3 minutes before she even looked up or noticed we needed something. I asked for 3 coke refills and had to beg for each one. The 3rd refill she dumped something into it because it was overly sweet and tasted like raspberry so I didn’t even get to drink it. Too thick and sweet and she never came back to correct it. Every time we got help she went back to talk at the bar right behind us again and again. At the end of service we asked for the check and she again went to the bar to talk. 15 minutes went by and she finally came back with one check after we already asked for split checks. She then instead of fixing it walked away from us mid conversation to greet her new table the very second they were sat even though we were currently trying to leave and speaking to her about the bill.

Another 5 minutes go by and she brings the bills but rang some of our stuff up correctly, half of us already paid so she told us she could either refund the card over 3to5 business days or that we can figure out who owes who ourselves. (We ended to figuring it out on our own and sending the others the money for the mischarges). She then explained that there’s 20% auto gratuity and we realized why she didn’t give a damn about good service to any of us. I pretended to go to the restroom to speak to the manager and he said he’d speak with her. This was Sunday night around or 6 pm. They were slow and steady. The server abused the large party auto gratuity. I’ve truly never received poorer service then this. Nothing was comped. Apologies were made from the manager in private but my friends were charged for things she rang in incorrectly and we all felt ignored and then trapped when we tried to leave because she wouldn’t give us our bills. Avoid coming here as a large party. The restaurant will never be good with a server like her.

**Now onto the food**

Most of the food was delicious!! Parmesan fries were a soggy old let down. The meatballs have an insane cheese pull, and the flavors are wonderful. The Margherita pizza was light and airy. It was perfect. I could’ve eaten a 2nd one just to enjoy it longer. The focaccia bread with its parmesan pesto sauce was very refreshing as well. The linguine was creamy with the right amount of spice to compliment everything. We had tiramisu at the end, but it wasn’t as flavorful as most other things we had. As far as desserts, I wasn’t super impressed.

The food was pretty good. The vibe and set pleasurable and elegant. I had some loaded veggie pizza… Don’t remember the name. I ate the entire thing by myself.
I would have loved an actual real and fresh Parmesan cheese offered to put my pizza. When I said yes to the Parmesan, I was given the typical sprinkle kind that’s not fresh.

When I dream of eating pizza… I dream of eating this exact pizza. The sauce is classic. It is simple yet so full of flavor. I wish I could pick this place up and take it back home to Colorado. I would also take the owner because he is a gem. If you’re lucky enough and give the right vibes off you might get a special sweet treat . Do not expect your basic American flavor. Expect an authentic taste that will replace your senses of what a real pizza is.

Forno 301 – The Only Thing Hotter Than My Breakup

Fresh off a breakup and in desperate need of something warm, comforting, and preferably carb-loaded, I wandered (emotionally disheveled but fashionably dressed) into Forno 301—a spot that’s never let me down, unlike a certain auburn-haired Swiss heartbreaker I could mention.

This Uptown gem serves up authentic Italian comfort in the form of crispy, wood-fired pizzas, twirly pastas, and cold cocktails that go down smoother than my last situationship. I started with the meatballs, because sometimes you just need a little tenderness—and let me tell you, they delivered more emotional support than Beau ever did. Perfectly seasoned, saucy, and exactly what my therapist forgot to prescribe.

Then came the Prosciutto Crudo pizza, which I’m convinced was handcrafted by the ghosts of Italian grandmothers who want me to heal. Paper-thin prosciutto, creamy mozzarella, and just the right amount of char on the crust. It was love at first bite—no emotional unavailability here, just pure, unfiltered deliciousness.

The service was friendly, fast, and served with just a dash of that “we’re Italian, and we know we’re better than you” attitude—which, honestly, felt a little like dating again. Except this time, I got what I asked for and it came with wine.

If you’re nursing a broken heart, celebrating something special, or just craving a damn good pizza, Forno 301 is the move. I’ll definitely be back—single, satisfied, and maybe wearing something clingy… just in case the waiter’s single too.

First time here, on a friend’s suggestion. Cute little Italian spot. Wasn’t hungry enough for pizza, but will definitely be back to try that. Had the pasta of the day, and it was delicious. Not sure what was all in the sauce, but I ate the whole thing, and no regrets.

Good company at the outdoor bar. In/outdoor bar open seating. Caprese salad was amazing with fresh tomatoes. Pizza was equally impressive! Would definitely go back 110%!
Follow up… I came back the next night, Sunday. Quieter vibe but still an awesome experience. This is a place that knows customer service and does it well.

I was in town for a conference and came here on the advice of a friend who really enjoyed his dinner here. I went on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant had plenty of seating so I had no wait. There’s not much of a view but there’s a good amount of natural light. In general the atmosphere was pleasant, somewhere between casual and high class. My server was friendly and helpful and my food came in a reasonable time. Prices were a touch high but that seems to be the norm now. I enjoyed my meal and would certainly recommend this restaurant to others.

I came here for a lovely anniversary dinner. We had calamari to start with a delightfully tasteful garlic bread. Then I had capellini pomodoro. My husband had the meatball gnocchi with Mariana sauce. Dinner was paired with a lovely moscato. Service was impeccable and everyone was so attentive to our every need.

Solid restaurant. It gets 4 stars because they pretended to be busy when they were virtually empty and the hostess was rude when we said we did not have a reservation despite there being 9 people in the place. After we had to deal with that miserable person, it went great. Friendly service and great Sicilian food. I would eat here 2 times a week if I was closer to downtown. The capellini pomodoro is a legitimate dish. An abundance of flavors compacted into a pretty simple pasta dish. They also served a side of sausage which was obviously homemade. Intense flavor with fennel like any quality Italian sausage should be. The service other than the hostess was professional and friendly.

I went with a group for a business dinner and Mancuso’s did not disappoint! Although difficult to find upstairs and inside an unmarked building, the atmosphere, service and food was 10/10.

The pork chop and Parmesan risotto were two of the most discussed dinner choices.

For appetizers, we ordered the bruschetta. The Roma tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, and olive oil were great — fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, the bread was disappointing: it was hard, stale, and tasted old. Because of that, I wouldn’t recommend the bruschetta.

For the main course, I had the 16oz Rib Eye with Gorgonzola cheese and mashed potatoes also infused with Gorgonzola. That dish was excellent — flavorful and well-prepared. I’m not sure it was worth $64, but it was still very good, and I would order it again.

Overall, it was a quiet weekday evening with not much else to note. I’d go back, but probably with more selective expectations.

We started out with a rose on the table for me, loved that! Our server Savanna was great! She recommends some really great options! Oh my, the bread is delicious! Our meals were wonderful. My husband said it was one of the best ribeye hes ever had! And the dessert, out of the world! Definitely recommend checking this place out! We loved it!

Christo’s has been serving the valley since 1987

A staple in the Phoenix area you’ll find this neighborhood gem. A casual dining experience, excellent customer service and home cooked Italian food. Best served at a table with great company, sharing the same food experiences.
What a great evening

The restaurante has a romantic style and petty is wide, the portions of the food are so big, it include a salad an a soup of the day you just have to chose your main dish, they have a good variety of wines and dishes, the services was a little slow but still good. Tasty is good.
The only thing that I’d say is the toilets needs a little more attention.

Holy Cow! Make reservations for this place and do not miss out on what they have to offer. One of the best Italian restaurants in all of the travels I have done.

Michelle was an amazing server that was on top of everything. Make sure to ask for her if you can. You will be extremely happy with that decision.

Now on to the food, wow, wow, WOW. If you are a fan of Italian prepared food than do not miss the fresh sauce, fresh cut mozzarella, amazing Caesar, pay extra for it and the veal was over the top. I can’t express how much I was impressed by this off the main strip restaurant.

If you overlook this location, then you are missing out to what the locals know.

My favorite Italian restaurant in Phoenix. The service is always great, the food is fantastic and the wine and desserts are on point. Went there last night with my husband for our dating anniversary and everything was perfect.

6 of us attended dear friend’s 60th Anniversary Dinner tonight. Christos is their only Go To for Special Occasions. This was our first time here. Complement the ‘Old School’ Italian Fine Dining: Waiters, Table Cloth covered tables, Tony Bennett background music, great special dishes and Wine list. Dinner was at 5pm with many regulars strolling in around 6.
Best Potato Soup and Salad starter I’ve had in a long time. All entrees cooked and presented perfectly. Desserts excellent, finished with fresh Hot Coffee to top off a fine dinner. Only complaint was the Bread. Too Hard crust and center. Even the next table complained how hard it was. We will be back but I do love a good bread!

Calamari appetizer and soup were our favorite. Salad was good, but dressing was a little odd for me with mustard in it. I am a Veal fan. The Veal was amazing but the overall flavor of the Veal Parm was a little bland. We really like the atmosphere. It was elegant but had that Cheers feel. Service was 5 star. We will go back.
