Any one giving this place more than 2 stars was either drunk or has a really low standard for food…they charged me $17.22 for 3 tacos and a can soda..I thought okay maybe they are huge and really food ..it was more tortilla and cabbbage than meat plus the quality is horrible for the price they charge…first and last time ever going to this place ..rather get a hot dog from a gas station ..after I had order I even seen a guy throw away a whole torta..but it was to late I had already ordered

I order 5 carne asada tacos with everything on it. The meat wasn’t salty and everything tasted fresh. It comes with guacamole and small bowl of beans. There $3.50 for 1 taco was a bit expensive. They don’t have a website or any prices being displayed. There was a bit of a language barrier when I placed my order but didn’t have any issues. Overall it’s not bad

Lately it seems like there’s taco stands popping up on every corner and everywhere you go the quality sucks. My favorite taco place in Arizona was in Tucson but after their business grew the quality fell and haven’t gone back in over a year. After doing over 300 taco reviews in the last few years. I could agree with a lot of the reviews for this place and say best burritos in Phoenix and possibly best burrito in Arizona . Carne asada taco were great but not the best in Phoenix, but very close. But the Al pastor taco for sure the BEST in Arizona. The carne asada burrito was also the BEST burrito iv had in AZ. Taco la Lomita wow wow thank you for making some amazing food been awhile since iv had some real good tacos. Highly recommend this Carreta!

Las porciones son generosas y la relación calidad-precio es muy buena, convirtiéndolo en una opción atractiva para un almuerzo rápido o una cena informal. Recomendado para quienes buscan una hamburguesa de calidad.

Was originally in the area for the DNA cars shop next door but I’m incredibly happy I stopped by. I got the lunch special (M-F 11am to 2pm) and paid $10 for a perfect, cooked-from-home burger and a very healthy portion of crispy fries. Garlic aioli is a revelation I have never experienced on a burger. 10/10 would recommend. Truly hard to beat the quality/price ratio for the lunch special. Employees greet you with a smile, nice atmosphere, not too big not too small. Must check out if you’re in the area.

Best burgers and shakes around — absolutely worth the price. The quality is unbeatable and the flavors are amazing. Definitely better for takeout than eating in. Only complaint: my Beyond Burger is never labeled, which gets confusing since my wife orders beef. Still, 5 stars all the way!

This was my first time ordering from Aiolis and I am definitely not impressed. In fact, I would go so far as to say I am deeply disappointed. I should have listened to the negative reviews.
I ordered the Aioli Burger with onion rings, french fries, and a strawberry milkshake. The burger was probably one of the lower end, worse burgers that I’ve ever had. The meat itself is not seasoned at all and is extremely bland. I don’t even think that they salt it, to be honest. They forgot the mushrooms, and the lettuce is nothing at all like the picture. I received a single thin piece of lettuce that was very wilted very dark almost like a dark blackish color. So it was old and inedible. Horrible.
The onion rings however were among the best I’ve ever had. They were thick and big and had a very good flavor. I would definitely order these onion rings again. The fries were just okay. They were very limp and mushy and a bit cold. But they did have a good flavor.
The strawberry milkshake leaves much to be desired. It tastes very much like a fake strawberry flavor. I would not order this again. They also put sprinkles all over the top of it which might look nice but I don’t eat synthetic food dyes because of how toxic and poisonous they are so I had to pick all those out.
I will definitely not be ordering from here again.
Update – I just spoke with the manager of this establishment who told me that for their milkshakes, they actually use a synthetic strawberry syrup that contains high fructose corn syrup. I’m shocked and horrified. If I had known this I would never have ordered this milkshake. My heart is racing right now as my body always reacts horribly to that ingredient. I always stay away from high fructose corn syrup and I never would have ordered this if I had known. He also told me that the hamburger meat patties that they order come pre-presses as patties. They don’t even make their own burger patties from actual ground beef.
I definitely do not recommend ever eating at this place. Horrible experience with horrible ingredients.

Hamburgers are great, Nick, great guy, and waitress who served my order verbally disrespectful, other than that. Hamburger patties are huge, I had grilled mushrooms onions with french fries and great hamburgers, and I’d recommend this place

Excellent people, 25% discount for first responders, and an 11-2pm week day lunch deal for 9.99 that is quality. I could only finish half a sandwich. Shout out to Daniel for being a good human and going above and beyond to help one of his customers last week. Like any Linkin Park concert, you help others up!

I haven’t been here in quite some time but decided to come by on my work lunch. The server was quick to take out orders and we got our food really quick. The burger was just as amazing I remember it was. The staff is awesome and the place is clean and tidy. This place sells beers and the amount of awards and recognition is definitely well deserved. The loaded fries were amazing and you can’t go wrong with any burger. Highly recommend this place as the food is excellent!

Visiting from Socal i decide to stop in for dinner. Dined in, horchata and cucumber lemonade were refreshing. 6 piece taquitos was as an appetizer. Queso birrias tacos were on point. The hotcheeto loaded carne asada fries smacked as a shareable aswell. Will definitely be back.

Accessible parking and ramp in front. They have outdoor seating and medium amount of seating inside. Employees are very welcoming and the food here is really good. I got a big generous bowl of the consomme and it was packed with meat. The tacos that came with were so good and hearty too. Everything was packed and made with care.

Grabbed lunch for myself and a couple coworkers. The consensus is, this place is so good! One even went as far as to say, they made my eyes roll back in my head! Keep it up!
The lobby was clean. The salsa bar was stocked and clean with no debris from one to the other. I love that they separate the onions from the cilantro because one of my girls doesn’t like the raw onions.
Everything travels well, I had picked up at the location and had to drive 15 minutes away.
Always will go back!

The food is to die for! It’s so flavorful, fresh, and cooked with love. I love how the food tasted as if it sat down in a kitchen and food served right up from the stove.
It’s a lot of food and great for the price. I definitely recommend the pernil, empanadas, and the chicken mofongo! The rice is so tasty that I could eat that for forever! The only thing I wish is that it had a bit more meat.

I ordered to-go from Phoenix Coqui and the staff were super nice. Restaurant is small but clean inside. I ordered a pernil plate and tostones con carne frita. I received huge portions of both for a cheap price. The pernil was slow cooked, smoky, and well-seasoned. I think it was cooked all day! Carne frita wa freshly fried and also well seasoned. So delicious. Tostones reminded me of being on the island; fried plantains are always yummy! I can’t wait to try everything else. If you want to try Puerto Rican food or are from the Island and want a taste in Phoenix, this is the place to go!

Wow wow wow.
This place literally made my day. I moved to phoenix a couple of months ago and I just found the best puertorrican food I’ve ate outside of Puerto Rico, EVER. I am a born and raised puertorrican who is VERY VERY judgy about flavors, textures and AUTHENTICITY. This place literally makes you feel like you are back home. The place itself, the environment, the owners, the service offered… I had the Pizza Empanadilla and wow… I can’t even put into words how the first bite felt. After that, I ordered a Mofongo de Pollo with Caldito on the side…. Literally I was about to cry. One of the owners even brought me some pieces of Carne Frita so I could taste that too. It was beyond what I could’ve imagined. This is literally the best place ever. I can’t wait to go back and visit this place. 100% recommended!!!!!!!!!!!
SI ERES BORICUA, ESTE ES TU LUGAR. NO PARE MÁS!!!!!! ❤️

If you’re craving a true taste of Puerto Rico in Phoenix, Phoenix Coqui delivers big time! The food is absolutely on point — full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with love. The empanadas are next-level (crispy outside, packed inside), and every bite takes me straight back to the island.

Overall had a great experience. I had the mofongo with pernil – delicious! My friend had the empanadillas one beef and one mushroom. She says they were both very good but preferred the mushroom. We went early in the afternoon so we had the place to ourselves it was a comfortable atmosphere.

I ordered from DoorDash and everything was delicious!!! Reminded me of a meal I had a long time ago in the Bronx!! The portions were fantastic. I had the pernil plate with a side of the kidney beans stew and the sweet bananas.. everything was absolutely delicious!! I’m so glad I have stuff for dinner and lunch tomorrow!!

☆ 5/5
I was very disappointed with my meal here. I followed the restaurant on social media and was very excited to try Puerto Rican food during my vacation in Arizona. Service was poor. Waited a while to be acknowledged. I ordered mofongo con pernil. The portion is large. Three people can easily share the platter. No complaints flavor-wise, however the mofongo was too dry. Regarding the ambiance, there was a small child in the dining room with two other women, not sure if they were guests or friends of the owner, but the child had his tablet playing loud videos. I couldn’t wait to finish eating and leave the establishment. All in all, very disappointed. It’s great to see a Puerto Rican restaurant in the desert, but unfortunately this one I do not recommend.
UPDATE: Exactly 12 hours after eating here I got sick with food poisoning. Almost missed my flight for having to run to the bathroom to vomit.
PROCEEDED AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

It’s a cash only business and they have a nice selection of meats for your tacos.

Third time getting lunch take out. First to times were delicious. Today made my third time. Went at 12:10 pm.Was charged $5.25 more than the previous times and ordered the same lunch items. The rice was still very crunchy and the enchilada sause tasted and looked like plain tomato sause. Very disappointed. Paid $15.25 for an $8.99 lunch plate. No substitutions. Questioned the amount and the lady just repeated my total.

We ordered tacos: tripas, pastor, lengua, and chicharon. Let us just say, I’ve had better tacos. With tons of taco food trucks in Phoenix, I will probably not be back here.

I can’t get these quesadillas out of my head. They’re unbelievably delicious. Our kids couldn’t believe the taste that hit their mouth holes, and nor could my wife or I. We will be back. You will, too, when you get here even once. Get ready for impact!

I went here on a Thursday night to meet up with a friend. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got a steak and blue quesadilla, and it was delicious. They made it with a crunchy outside and cheesy grilled tortilla.Trust me, it was very good. I had a soda and that came in a can with a glass of ice. The waitress was great; she explained the menu because it was my first time. I would definitely go back again.

I had the pleasure of trying the ‘Dragon Blood’ beverage, a vibrant mix of coconut water and fresh strawberries. The drink was beautifully presented, with a pink hue that was both inviting and refreshing. Each sip was a delightful blend of fruity sweetness and the hydrating qualities of coconut water, creating a perfect balance that was not overly sweet.
The vegan tacos were equally impressive, featuring a medley of fresh vegetables and a tangy sauce that complemented the soft taco shells. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were well-matched, and the overall execution was excellent.
Adding to the delightful meal was the exemplary service provided by the staff, particularly the individual who took my order. His cool and friendly demeanor made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Amazing BBQ! Pulled pork and sauce was incredible. Sweet potatoes and the Mac and cheese were also A++ They served me the best collard greens I think I’ve ever had in my life. I lived in the Memphis Tennessee area for 8 years so I have been to many barbecue places in SW Tennessee and northern Mississippi. This place is fire . They know how to smoke and serve BBQ the right way!! A+

Lord have mercy! Talk about delicious baby back ribs and Smoked Brisket! If you are in Phoenix it’s a must stop. The Baked Beans have a secret tang to it. Plus the cornbread isn’t dry.

Five stars hands down, excellent southern style bbq at a great local spot. Brisket was super moist and flavorful and the pork link was the perfect amount of spice. Mac and cheese was definitely homemade. Super nice people running it too!

I can’t believe they would give a customer the ribs they gave me. They seemed to be day old as they were hard and dry and barely edible. I don’t understand how a “rib joint” doesn’t have pork spare ribs (only baby back and beef ribs) as that is a staple for a real rib joint.
The spicy sauce was decent, but a little watery for me. The hot link was ok.
The beans were good and the coleslaw was decent but a little dry.
The folks there were friendly and I received excellent service.
Overall, they could be better if they take more pride in what meat they serve, especially to a first time customer.

This place is worth it. Customer service was great. Food taste even better. The Lemonade smacked, and they have different flavors you can get. My family and I dined in. Between the food and music made you feel like you was at a cookout. Was so good I ordered food to go. Pics are of the after math of the food I ate there and the food I got to go. Had the brisket and ribs with the baked beans and Greens. Then got the wings and Mac to go. The peach cobbler cake was ok.

This place was a big disappointment!!! Bought the sampler for over $100. The meat was most too dry to enjoy. Seemed old and reheated. The brisket was decent. As well as the sausage. sliced chicken was so dry and unfavorable. The pull pork seemed decent by looks till bit into it and it was bland and dry. Again seeming old and reheated. The sides were not savers of the meal. The yams were bland and a mushed mess . Cold slaw was dry as all get up. Potatoes salad was decent if like peppered said. I don’t. Bread was old and molded. Little bundle bottoms were rock hard. And the peach cobbler cake which i was excited to taste for first time. Dry ( must be their motto) and half was hard couldnt even chew it. Our family picked at what we could to eat. But very disappointing. I called when saw bread. They iffer to replace the rolls cause hard and cake. But that was it. Never will be back not even for my replacement bread that free!!!!!

I walked in hungry and was greeted with the succulent scent of real BBQ and a heart felt welcome.
Immediately I was transported back the south! Sweet Magnolia checked every box and then some! Tender brisket, great sauce, and a welcoming joyful atmosphere. Even RC Cola on tap! This delightful gem of BBQ joint may be tucked in the corner and not quite visible from the main road, but it deserves its own exit off the freeway.
If great food, southern hospitality, and a touch of nostalgia are your thing. This spot is a must visit!

Came here for lunch today with my family, and honestly it’s some of the best tacos I’ve had in years. The team are very friendly and helpful, and took the effort to ask us about our order, ie whether we wanted cilantro. The food was made to order and super fresh, with punchy bold flavours. Would definitely recommend people pay a visit here!

Really tasty food in this area! Last month, we tried food from 4 different food trucks, and honestly, the food was disappointing everywhere else. But here, we absolutely loved it! Especially the tacos – they’re the best we’ve had. Now, whenever we think about grabbing food from a truck, this is the only place we’ll go to!

Best torta and churro the South Side has to offer! Portions are huge you can share. They don’t skimp out on the avocado or quality either. The bread was soft and fresh and not stale at all like some other spots. They add grilled pineapple in their Al Pastor meat and it’s a perfect pair with that melt cheese French fries were real good with their spicy salsita on the side. Plus their churros God Tier level made fresh! Plus they had the best customer service with smiles ear to ear, you can’t beat that. The reviews lead me here and we were NOT disappointed! We will be back to try other menu items for sure.

This place was one of those hidden gems! You can almost miss it if you go too fast. The atmosphere is very authentic and “hole in the wall’ish” between a car lot run down area. The service was super friendly and fast. The tables are covered with plenty of tables to eat at the time.
I had the Al Pastor burrito which was super fresh, filled with plenty of ingredients, and a good serving amount with a soda. For the amount of food and how good it was, an AMAZING price! Definitely wish I had ordered two burritos instead of one.

Sketchy area, but food was delicious! I highly recommend the quesabirria taco combo! Great deal! The pastor tacos were also a hit. FYI if you go for taco Tuesday, make sure you tell them you want the taco Tuesday tacos (only one tortilla) or else they sell you the normal tacos at full price!

Ordered a burrito through DoorDash. The burrito was supposed to have red salsa and guacamole. However, they added so much red salsa that the burrito was super soggy and fell apart. Very disappointed in the quality control. It was dripping with red salsa, too much and no need for the excess. Mind you my delivery was super fast and directly so it was NOT because of DoorDash.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this place for a while because the food has always been fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, last night completely changed that. I was served what was clearly old chicken in my burrito. Honestly, I could tell just by looking at it that it had been sitting out, but I went against my gut because I’ve never had an issue with their quality before. Big mistake.
I spent the entire night and day dealing with the consequences, stuck on the toilet and completely regretting my decision to trust that it would be fine. It’s such a shame because I genuinely liked this place. But it only takes one food safety slip-up to lose trust completely.
Consistency is everything in this business. If you can’t maintain the same level of freshness and care that built your customer base in the first place, it’s going to catch up to you. Sometimes you just have to toss the old chicken. Saving $2 isn’t worth losing a customer who’s spent over $100 with you in the past year.
Really disappointed. I never thought I’d say this, but Taco Bell would never. Sad day for Authenticos Mesquite Grille. The flavor is there, but food safety is just as important.

As always fresh food. Don’t mention the fabulous taste! Customer service is good, they make Aguas frescas, from scratch. Today I had 3 tacos asada and 1 al pastor….. they haven’t failed me once so far I’m beyond satisfied. Thank you again for having me.

Ordered 2 Taco Plates tonight for delivery. Arrived quicker than expected. The Carne Asada tacos were all on point especially with the fresh limes that came included. My only complaint is on the rice. The rice definitely was not fresh and it was kinda hard or undercooked in my opinion

I tried food from 3 different food trucks here and after being blown away by the first two, this one left me disappointed. I’ve had better Mexican food than what I tasted here. The customer service was non existent and personally it wasn’t worth the price either. All in all I will not be eating here again.

The food was awesome, and it came out quickly. They close at 12:00 a.m. (Midnight), we got there around 11:45 p.m. I was surprised that despite the hour, they still had everything we asked for. We had tacos de asada, pastor, buche, carnitas, chorizo, chicharron, and tripitas. Everything was so good, the meat, the salsas, and the toreados.
Absolutely delicious food, I was also impressed with how clean everything was!
Would for sure visit again!
Definitivamente volvería a visitarlos

This is my favorite taco truck for tacos de cabeza. The meat is lean and shredded not cubed. They also serve it with hot chile peppers upon request.
The atmosphere a 3 because it’s outside and in the AZ summer it’s not pleasant to eat outside for lunch. There are fans, but it’s still hot. During the evening on weekends, they are busy and dining area gets full sometimes.

Been getting carna asadas burros & tacos here since 1999 as a couple, then as a family. Still awesome and delicious. The salsa has changed different times but still yummy.

The location seems a little sketchy, but the food is so good! The service is great and it has always been clean when we’ve gone!
We’ve traveled from Mesa just to get these tacos, and it was worth it. Definitely recommend eating there though, for an even better taste! Both salsas are delicious, and the roasted serranos are a great addition to an already great dish.
Recommend: Carne asada, tripas, pastor, cabeza, carnitas, and pollo tacos
