So so delicious, I have been going here from as early as I can remember, I was so sad to see it closed on Google a few months back and WAS BEYOND excited when I saw the reopened with some renovations. I had 3 plates stacked as full as they can go, just putting food on top of good on each plate. Everything was so good! It’s so nostalgic being there, I love lins grand buffet, 100/10 recommend! Also try the Cajun mussels! Chefs kiss

我們夫妻倆真是嚇壞了 送來熱開水沒關係 但保麗龍材質遇高溫可是會釋放毒素的
所以那二杯熱開水我們就不敢喝了
如果餐廳裝熱水時 能改用適合材質的杯子 那麼就更棒了

This place is huge with a lot of food choices, but overall the food is pretty average for a Chinese buffet. The building looks real fancy but the food pretty average. Although a lot of the stuff did taste good, nothing really stood out. The day we went it was extremely busy, they were lines at the food stations. I did not see them practicing CDC guidelines as far as disinfecting each table after someone left, so bring your own sanitizer if you want that done. Since there’s so many people in there the food turn around is pretty quick so most of the items in the food stations were freshly cooked. The building being so pretty really made me want to like this buffet more, but like I said it is average at best. There definitely buffets in this same price range in town that do offer higher quality food. Although the food wasn’t bad, nothing about my experience would make me want to come back to this place. And actually felt like they were hurting customers around by cattle because they were so busy. Staff did not care that people were shoulder to shoulder at the food stations. They do not have a salad section, unless you consider lettuce in just a few vegetables salad.

This Buffet offers great quality and a variety of food items. More than we expected from sushi, a Mongolian bar, soup, salmon, salad, and iced cream. The best part their prices are still affordable $20 per person.

Delicious! Food is fresh & hot. The mongolian grill is great too. They have salad, sushi, & dessert as well. The only negative for us is how busy they are but it’s not their fault. I highly recommend!

Food was horrible, we didnt even finish what we served ourselves. Got home with what seemed to be food poisoning.. definitely was not worth the $46 i spent for 2 people.. they should’ve just stayed closed .

This place is an unexpected treat that transcends the Christown area it sits in. I would put their sushi up against any fancy sushi place. The teriyaki chicken is a show stopper of grilled flavor, and the shrimp cocktail was 10/10. This has become my new go-to buffet.

This buffet is totally worth it! There are so many dishes—seafood, grilled meat, hot dishes, and desserts. The shrimp and scallops are very fresh, with a sweet and delicious taste. The grilled meat is cooked just right, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it’s super tasty with dipping sauce. The cakes and fruits in the dessert area are also fresh, which are refreshing and delicious. The waiters clear the plates promptly, and the environment is clean and tidy. The per capita price is not expensive, and I ate to my full. I will definitely choose this place for the next family dinner!

Mandarin Buffet was more than amazing, I was fulfilled and my stomach was full of amazing food! My waitress was MORE than amazing, he was being respectful and made me and my friend feel welcome, and appreciated. The waitress was very engaging and was always providing the most amazing service!! I recommend X100 whether you’re alone or not amazing to go to anytime!

This was our first time here. The service was awesome!! We were checked on very often & our finished plates were taken quickly & politely. The food was very FRESH & the employees were cleaning any drips of food that spilled from trays, tables. There is a VERY WIDE SELECTION to choose from. Delicious food, not to mention it’s very affordable. If you haven’t been here. Give them your time, you won’t be disappointed.

I came to this buffet with my family. The environment is spacious, bright and very comfortable. The dishes are rich and varied, with hot dishes, cold dishes, barbecues and desserts all available, and the ingredients are fresh. The service is also good, waitstaff clear the plates promptly. I am always skeptical about a buffet because I had not found one that was clean enough to satisfy my OCD or the food tasted like cardboard, but not this place! The food was delicious, everything was very clean, the staff were absolutely perfect and so was the egg drop soup, which is make or break for me. I was stuffed and still wanted more. I am excited to go back and take my kids and friends with me! Thank you for a delightful day!

The service was on point. The waitress made sure that we had all our drinks topped off and kept the plates cleared from our large group. The restaurant is super clean and beautiful! They have a wide variety of cuisine. It is cooked well and displayed nicely. Absolutely loved it here. I would recommend coming.

A very good buffet place in Phoenix. Clean. Enough parking food taste good. Didn’t try everything though. friendly and helpfull staff. A lot competition from the same area (Lins buffet, Texas Rdgouse, etc.) not crowded (Monday).

Came here for dinner with my fiance, the food has so much varities of food, appetizer,dessert,seafood,
sushi and hibachi. I didnt think the food is all that great. Even the hot tea didnt taste like theres tea in the tea pot.
Service needs to work on, not alot of waiter n waitress speak English. I ask my waiter for a knife or where I can get a knife, he answered me ok., so I assume he doesn’t understand.
The restroom is a must needs alot of attention, the men and women, i walked in and i just washed my hands and walk back out it was so dirty.

We heard about this place from an Uber driver. She lived nearby and loved it, but some of her friends had mixed experiences. We decided to try and the place was just as described! A busy, tasty spot with very cheap but solid options. Like any buffet, dishes are hit and miss, but the ones we wanted (SUSHI!) were almost entirely hit. A hour or two before close on a Wednesday the sushi bar was still fully stocked and more was being made every minute. The nigiri in particular was above the quality we expected from a buffet even if the sushi rice wasn’t great. The sushi and baked mussels were delicious as was the mocha cake and little ice creams. We didn’t try a lot more but the honey walnut chicken was good too. Some stuff looked like it was just there to fill space and most folks didn’t touch it. The place was clean, staff was busy and perfectly cordial and it’s a buffet so how much help from staff does one expect beyond drinks which stayed full! We walked out for like 44 bucks (tip included) which is insane for the solid quality and amount we ate.

The service was great, the restaurant wasn’t crowded probably due to going mid day on a weekday. The food was good everything was nice and hot and they constantly kept items stocked. Everything tasted as it should, the star of the show for me were the dumplings and the dumpling sauce, bok choy and mushrooms. There was so much to choose from I didnt get to try more. Definitely worth the money.

You don’t usually expect great service at a buffet, but that’s exactly what I got here. The staff was super friendly and kept checking on me to refill my water, and the food had a good variety like sushi, ribs, Mongolian grill, and plenty of desserts. I also liked that they had both booths and tables booths felt more private, but tables were easier to get in and out of.

Went here with a few friends. Was surprised by the price, even though it was dinner. However, I was even more surprised by the food. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten in my life, and it was completely unlimited. The desserts are lacking a little bit, but the variety of normal food was great. I highly recommend this place to anybody who loves large amounts of Chinese food. Miles better than that Golden Coin Chinese Buffet down the road. There was sushi, chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, Mongolian pork, beef and broccoli, the staples of Chinese food, but they also had more American foods like pizza, mashed potatoes, fries, chicken nuggets, so if little kids don’t like Chinese, they can still eat, not to mention the fruit. My only complaint is the price which was just over $20 per person, but that’s just a personal pet peeve that buffets do when they up the price during dinner. However, unlike other buffets which seem to have a high variety of crappy food, Red Wok Buffet had a high variety of high quality foods. Maybe I just have bad taste but this food was unlike any other Buffets I’ve been to. The place was very clean, which was nice for the nasty area surrounding the business. There was also plenty of space, with many tables open. I found it a little weird how you can’t fill up your own drinks at a soda fountain per se and have to get the waiter to, but I guess it’s convenient. Also, thank you for installing protective sneeze guards. It is genuinely insane that we are in the year 2025 and places do not protect food from disgusting people who spray their germs all over communal food.

We had a very nice waitress, made sure to tip. One of the people at our table chose not to eat, which we noticed she was concerned about, so if this waitress (which I highly doubt) is reading this review, I promise we made sure he didn’t eat anything. I would be concerned too if 5 young men walked into my restaurant and one of them looked like he was trying to dodge paying for food.

In conclusion, this place has a wide variety of well-prepared foods, a clean environment, and is perfect for large groups of people. I will be coming back soon. Never going to Panda Express ever again.

Most of the food was either a bit too greasy or dry. Bbq short ribs were ok. Baked catfish was a bit too greasy but seasoned well. Sweet and sour chicken was ok. Bok cho was ok. Plain steamed white rice was a better choice than the fried rice. My wife enjoyed the bbq chicken.

Fried rice was aesthetically unappealing and a tad too dry. Lo Mein was too greasy. Rice noodles were too greasy for my taste. The chili oil kept separating with a cloudy residue that didn’t look right. The pizza my grandson had, according to him, wasn’t that good. He just got steamed rice after.

The rest of the food I didn’t try but looked about the same, too greasy. The salad bar is just a salad bar with some decent options. Sushi was available, but I’m not a sushi lover. There was a grill, but I dont think it’s open for lunch.

Overall, cleanliness is average. Change the table tops. Exposed wood can hold bacteria. Men’s restroom was ok. More lighting could be better in the restroom.

This was my first time here and probably will be my last time. Another Chinese buffet restaurant, not remotely close to the valley with similar buffet options, was much better in the quality of their food.

This place is usually busy in the evenings and weekends. Based on that I stopped in and left unsatisfied. Yet I’m positive they’ll stay open. Good luck..

The server was fine and staff was nice but unfortunately found hair in my food. Unfortunately since this a buffet there’s a chance it could be someone else’s hair ,but still gross regardless. And there was a roach running around

First of all, it’s a buffet, so let’s level set the expectations. And it’s under $20 a head so we aren’t talking high end Vegas style options or service.

Having said that, it’s a completely lovely place that is clearly trying to keep costs low while giving decent quality for a fair price.

I tried several items across the board, but my favorite was the bbq ribs. A little on the tough side, but super tasty and plentiful.

Lots of variety of the ‘Chinese’ food classics. The chicken in the 2 types I tried were considerably good quality- good pieces without a lot of fatty/tendon parts.

And while I didn’t actually eat any shrimp/prawns, they were large and impressive- all those around me seemed super pleased with them. If I was a shrimp guy, I could easily get my moneys worth on these alone!

Dessert was limited in option, but the massive amount of fresh fruit and really fresh looking salad bar options made that an acceptable trade off for anyone not super focused on after meal treats.

Also, restrooms were exceptionally clean and nice.

We will go again when we are super hungry and looking for a great value.

Staff was friendly enough, if not a bit less attentive than a regular service restaurant. But as a buffet, it’s best they just stay out of the way of the hungry throngs anyway.

I recently visited the Red Wok in Phoenix off Thomas Road, and I must share a deeply concerning experience. While eating, I discovered a rubber band inside the crab meat on my plate. To clarify, this was not part of the shell or claw but an actual rubber band embedded in the crab, which is completely unacceptable and unsafe.

When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they dismissed it by claiming the rubber band must have come from the bundle of noodles. This excuse only heightened my frustration, as it still points to severe negligence in food preparation and quality control. When I requested a refund due to this alarming issue, they outright denied it, refusing to take responsibility for such a serious matter.

This is a clear health and safety hazard. What if a child or baby had eaten this and choked? The thought of the potential danger is horrifying. Such an unsanitary and careless practice is unacceptable, and the lack of accountability from the staff only compounds the issue.

I strongly advise others to think twice before dining here. The lack of basic hygiene standards and customer service demonstrates a disregard for both safety and satisfaction. I hope this review serves as a warning and prompts the management to reflect on and improve their practices to ensure no one else has to endure a similar experience.

As soon as we sat at our table my wifes arms stuck to the table. The window fixtures and blinds were dirty with mold around the edges. We even switched tables and then my arms stuck to the table . Food was not as good as it looked, sesame chicken had a off flavor. Our utensils were poor and worn out. The best thing we had there was the steak believe it or not, fresh steak grilled every 10 min . As far as the Chinese food , very poor quality all around . We paid a little over $40 for the both of us , not a bad price . Do not recommend this place to anyone as we will not be returning customers. Service was great by our waitress, she did stay on top of our drinks and dishes.

This is such an amazing place to have delicious food, it’s in such a quiet spot, the staff are so incredibly friendly and welcoming!! Service is so fast, the ambient is calm and clean. I honestly cannot say anything but good things from this super underrated place. The chicken tikka is my personal favorite and their samosas are delicious 🙂

North Indian food done right! This is the real taste of Indian food. Especially, their Naan is one the best I’ve had, not just in the US, but amongst all Indian restaurants I’ve been to.
Every dish tastes distinct, unlike, others who use the same gravy for everything.
Great taste, great service and many varieties. Buffet is a good way to explore!

Really good Indian restaurant, great customer service, very friendly. Vegetable Samosa was really delicious as was the mint and tamarind dipping sauces. Chicken Tikka Masala medium heat was exceptionally good, good amount of chicken and the sauce was very flavorful with just right amount of heat. Garlic Naan was my favorite part of the meal, one off the best I have had, thin crispy deliciousness! Mango Lassi was also really good.

Highly recommend this place. I was looking for a good authentic Indian restaurant and found it. Their food is so tasty that they even ask you and inform you how spicy you’re plate original is and how spicy you want it. That is something so helpful because sometimes some dishes are so spicy and cannot handle it. All the plates I tried were rich in flavour and the service was exceptional. Their mango Lassi is delicious, as well as their butter chicken with a side of rice; the Naan is freshly made there, and the paneer is so delicious. I’ll definitely go back again.

I love coming here for the lunch buffet! It came out to $30 for two people which is a typical price nowadays getting two combo meals from a fast food joint. so that in my opinion is a great deal! Especially when there is dessert as well. Food is amazing every time. The lamb curry, tandoori chicken, etc ( can’t remember the names of other meals) there is also complimentary Naan bread. The service is always excellent. They are kind and attentive.

My husband and I came to Dosa Place for our date night this last weekend. We decided to make this an (at least) monthly destination! The food is truly “a treasure trove of flavors,” as the website says… It was incredibly delicious, and they let us know it is made fresh, daily. We could tell… it was mouth-wateringly delectable. We were greeted with such kindness, given thorough explanation on the menu, as well as fantastic recommendations. We tried four different items from the menu: Paneer Tikka Fries, Spring Masala Dosa, Malabar Chicken Curry, & shared a delicious Kerala Porotta… they were all fantastic. Each had such a distinct myriad of flavor and freshness that was so satisfying. Try the Paneer Tikka Fries! I can’t wait to go back for those alone! And to try even more amazing items. Dosa Place quickly filled up that evening, and we ate quite late! It was clean, friendly, and a delightful all-around experience. This restaurant has items that no other Indian food restaurant has in the valley. I also enjoyed the cultural insight into the Kerala region that it inspired me to read about after having such a terrific experience here. We couldn’t say enough good about this delightfully scrumptious place…. make it a regular for you and your families, work associates, etc. You won’t be disappointed! I have a lunch date with some coworkers in the coming weeks, and can’t wait to recommend this place to them and have them enjoy it too. We were also excited to see they just started a lunch buffet between 11:30 and 2:30 each week. We will be back, and I will keep spreading the word… Dosa Place is a hidden gem in Phoenix! I’m beyond ecstatic that a place like this exists in Phoenix. Genuinely authentic Kerala style dishes – Kappa and meen curry, Fish Nirvana, Kerala style fish curry, Porottas, Iddiappams, Kizhi Porotta etc. (IYKYK)

Service – due to staffing issues, it may seem a little slow. However, I’m not sure how you balance the overhead if more people don’t frequent this restaurant. I’ve never been welcomed in or served without a smile. Joshiram and his colleagues have always been warm.

Food – take it from a foodie and someone who loves to cook, this place comes real close to authentic Kerala cooking.

It’s not your typical Indian restaurant serving Tikka masalas, butter chickens, and naans. Though, they do have these dishes, the Keralan dishes are where it’s at for me.

If you’re unsure of what to order, the staff can guide you through the menu.

I’ve eaten here four times now, and the consistency of quality is why I’m leaving this review.

Great South Indian food but painfully slow

Let me start with the bad, the service is very slow, the tables are sticky and they are terribly understaffed.

But the food is amazingly good. It’s authentic South Indian food. The menu is huge and they may not have everything listed everyday. I recommend any of the Dosa or the biryani. The food is a little spicy so be sure to ask of the less spicy version if you are not used to the spices.

I’ll be back here for the dosas!

I loved this place. I am from Kerala and the food here is amazing and exactly what we get in Kerala. The Chef is from Kerala.
Must try: Chicken Kizhi Parotha, Chicken Malabar curry and Chicken Mappas with Parothas.

We brought a group of high school culinary students to Dosa palace, and the experience was beyond incredible. The staff didn’t just serve amazing food—they took the time to educate our students on Indian cuisine.

If you want outstanding Indian food and an unforgettable experience, Dosa palace is the place to go. We can’t wait to return!

A Google search led me to this restaurant, and I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious! If you’re a fan of authentic Kerala-style cuisine, this place is a must-visit. We tried the onion masala dosa, chicken dum biryani, Kerala-style naadan kozhi curry with parotta, chicken 65, and sambharam (buttermilk)—each dish was bursting with flavor. Highly recommend!

I was very surprised about the place, it was so clean, Even the bathroom were clean. And all the food there was hot, & it did not taste like it was sitting for a very long time. I will eat there again!!!!

Nice place to eat and enjoy family time. The food was fresh, excellent, perfectly cooked, and many options. They do serve sushi, they do the stir fry cooking for you if you want and you can choose your items as well. Place was packed yesterday but the staff managed to get us a booth , baby booster seat and were friendly. I will definitely still come here real soon.

I love muscle just steamed that’s a change and a good change. I think this might be my favorite out of almost all the buffets in the valley, I think most people will be very happy with bang for your buck five stars two thumbs up.

Staff is friendly, though they don’t interact with us very often. I like the strawberry lemonade also the Egg Flower Soup and Hot and Sour Soup.

Not crowded for NYE. Food was good just because I got there 2 hours before closing so some was cold or tough to eat. Crab legs were good if you picked a good one, there were some old crab legs that had black meat but not many. Staff was friendly and very attentive when it came to taking the plates or refilling your drinks. I definitely will be coming back at an earlier time.

My husband and I go here on every date we have . Their food is so good and the price for two people is very affordable. The service is very good ,everyone is so friendly and attentive. I really recommend this place for a date or just eating with family. The best dishes I enjoy is the soup and the coconut shrimp. I suggest you give it a try yourself.

So if you’re looking for amazingly ambiance this place is not it!!!!! It’s a simple dinner style Homestyle menu/cooking. The food was great!!!!! I had a cheeseburger omelet and I enjoyed it. My man didn’t like his as much……. he had the breakfast burger……it definitely didn’t slap as much as other breakfast burgers we frequently have. The service was great. Lisa was attentive and we wanted for nothing the entire visit. It was quiet, quick service, and the portions were larger than I expected. Coffee was a bit pricey for just fresh brew and nothing special.

Absolutely loooove this place. The waitresses are so sweet and attentive,and the food is amazing! The last couple times I’ve been here there was no wait time and food came out quickly! The food was great and very affordable.. great portion sizes. And all the servers are very nice and friendly and make you feel very welcome when you come in, and when you leave out. I would definitely recommend it to other people!

Prices are really good portions are really big. You get free refills that your drinks and you’re gonna end up with some leftovers and couldn’t get any better than this. I loved the steak there and the pancakes were to die for.

Very nice once you walk in. You are greeted by all close servers. Our sever was very sweet, polite and helpful. Food is delicious. Feels home cooked. The coffee isn’t the greatest it tasty watered down.

I had ordered food through the online order cause I was hearing good things about this restaurant on TikTok so i thought I would give it a try. When it can to my door I opened the bag it was horrible it looked like whoever cooked it or boxed it up just threw my food into the box. The enchilada was so greasy and merged with sauce and there was no beans and the steak ugh was on top of the enchilada and full of fat i threw it away worst experience ever

This spot might look a little old-school and it’s right by a nightclub, but it’s got serious charm. The food is amazing for the price, the service was great, and honestly it’s one of the best deals you’ll find anywhere in Arizona.

The food is good. It’s consistent. I would say the beans and salsas are delicious. The service was top notch. Our waitress was Betty. She was extremely professional and courteous. My favorite thing to get are the shredded beef tacos. They’re a classic choice, crispy and flavorful. This place isn’t fancy; however, you can tell Yvette the owners put in some effort to make it feel special.

I’ve eaten here a few times. It’s gotten better each time. Beans, salsa and other hispanic dishes that mom and abuela used to make. I’m not in this area often but when I am, I do swing by here and offer friends to try out.

This is a hidden little restaurant that won’t disappoint. Food was good, prices were decent. Everything else was just right. Salsa and chips for the start and a many dishes to choose from. I had the chilaquiles and the hubby had the green chile plate. We will be back another day

First time here even though I’m from Arizona. I’m not sure why. They are fantastic!
Red & green Carne. 3 plate Tamale, enchilada and Tostada. Fresh salsa with chips that were light and crunchy.

VERY reasonably priced Just under $30 for two people including drinks.

The price isn’t bad compared to other buffets tbh. Nice chill atmosphere. Family friendly.

Hibachi City Buffet was clean, comfortable, all you can eat, and all the food I ate was delicious and scrumptious! The staff were pleasant and professional. I’m already looking forward to visiting Hibachi City again.

1st time customer. Decided to come for lunch. Tried a little bit of everything since I didn’t know what was good. The fried rice and low mein were a little bland but it’s a buffet so use the condiments it helps! The salt and pepper chicken was really good. The spare ribs were way too hard and inedible. The sushi rolls were really good. Hot and sour soup was bland (I was really disappointed as I love that soup) Decent size cups for drinks. Does have food like chicken, fries, pizza and a salad bar for the picky eaters like my kids. I was pretty full and for the price ($10) so that’s not bad. I would come back. The staff are friendly.

Front desk lady didnt answer any questions and was not interested in interacting with customers what so ever, she would rather draw on her hand. Food at a buffet I dont expect to be perfect by any means but this was the coldest food I had ever had, soup was cold like their hot tables didnt work, bland even. Atmosphere felt like a hospital, smelt like one too, at least it was clean I suppose. The effort put into this place was literally 0 and you can see it in the staff. I’d recommend McDonald’s before ever going here. Won’t be going back and would never recommend.

We got 3 plates to go one had seafood and the other 2 did not and they charged all boxes as if they had sea food. Its a rip off and that’s wrong when I questioned it the lady did not even care and said one bix had alot of sea food which made no sense.

While the selection looked plentiful, almost everything tasted either bland, low quality, or stale like they had been sitting out all day and well past their expiration time or even day. Even dishes which should be difficult to make taste bad (such as grilled head-on shrimp) were bland, dried out or maybe overcooked and rubbery. Easy staples such as the fried rice and the lo mein and chow mein noodles were so bland as to have no flavor at all. The desserts such as the coffee cake had a glazy top layer that had dried out to become gummy and chewy, the mini Bundt chocolate cake was so dry and brittle as to be inedible. The only edible things besides the fresh fruit were the pre-packaged ice cream cups, and even those were a low quality product. I would not recommend this place to anyone and expect to remain friends with them afterwards. The only positive thing I can say about the place was a very nice busperson who cheerfully and frequently cleared away our mostly uneaten plates from the table.

Don’t believe the photos read the reviews. This place hasn’t had sushi in 5 years. I did finally talk them into giving me a refund but it was not the easiest thing in the world.
