I wanted to love Escapology but this was the worst escape room we have done yet, and we’ve done probably about 50. That doesn’t mean it was absolutely horrendous, but it was underwhelming for the price. We did the Murder Mystery escape room, which, granted, was marked as a moderately hard room. However, there’s a difference between difficult and impossible to figure out. This room was the latter.

Part of the reason we kept struggling was because the room wasn’t properly functioning. Two clues weren’t in their proper place from the previous guests and the game masters had to come in and get them out of the locks with pliers. We weren’t given much extra time after these mishaps, and the clues they kept giving us were things we had already figured out — almost like they were AI generated or pre-loaded.

The entire room was just… underwhelming. I don’t necessarily regret doing this room, every Escape Room is a cool experience, this one was just not as cool, I guess.

Isaiah was our game host was Isaiah and he was the best had the best videos! Our wonderful game host was Sophia and thank goodness because we wouldn’t have been able to get through it!

Josh and Ali were super helpful! Made the experience really fun and enjoyable. They answered all our questions without being overwhelming. The room lost city was absolutely stunning! Very well put together.

Room we did was hard, but it was challenging in a fun way! Definitely will be going back to try other rooms.

We had such an amazing time at Escape the Room, and a huge part of that was thanks to Chris! He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient with our group. Chris made the experience even more enjoyable by giving us just the right amount of hints when we needed them—no pressure, just support and good vibes. He kept the energy up and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. If you’re lucky enough to have Chris as your game master, you’re in for a fun and stress-free time. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing time at escape the room. We did the Jurassic themed room. Are game master Kai was amazing with subtle hints to get us through. This is our first time so we were completely unaware of how the process worked but Kai was amazing with helping us.

Very entertaining. Had a great time with the family trying to get all the clues together. Jasper was very helpful and also helped out by watching our little one who was too afraid to come into the room with us. Very highly recommend to give this place a try.

Out of all the escape rooms we’ve been to, this is the coolest. The Heist room looked the part, the puzzles were fun and unique. My whole family could participate, even our 8 yo. The game master was fun and made the experience so much better As we left, he told us about the Jurassic room and now we have to come back to do that one. If you haven’t tried this place, we highly recommend!

My granddaughter & I did the James Bond escape room (failed..LOL), but it was my first time doing this. Chris was fantastic to us, explaining everything and helping with clues (probably more than we should get….). It was fun despite not succeeding (but we were only one step away). We will definitely go back! Thanks, Chris!

SO MUCH FUN! The room was huge, with so many clues. This was my first escape room experience- I love puzzles and team games but I didn’t know what to expect. We did the “western bank heist” and it was so much fun!

Chris was super helpful with clues, and kept it fun even though we got stuck a few times!

We were 3 adults and it took us the whole hour, and we loved every minute of it. Highly recommend!

I brought my interns here for National Intern Day! and it was the perfect team building event. We did the The Dig, and let me tell you it was a challenge! We made it out with no time to spare lol, thanks to Chris who was a great host! Very welcoming and fun. Adding this to future team building events.

So I’ve done 2 rooms with my partner (both escape room fans), and we’ve had lots of fun with each!! We managed to finish baaaarely in the nick of time on the pirate one (very challenging!) and we had around 15 minutes to spare on the pipeworks one. Overall the pirate one felt a bit higher quality but both were very fun, and they have new experiences come periodically.

The staff are very polite, respectful, and clear, giving you what you need to take on the rooms. I was also pleasantly surprised that unlike some puzzle rooms that put you with strangers if you book the same slot, each booking here is a private booking, meaning only your party will play. So it’s good for a date!

My boyfriend and I came to Puzzle Effect for a fun date day and had a great time! We chose the Amnesia room and were really impressed. The staff was super friendly, got us checked in quickly, and explained the rules clearly. They gave us a heads-up about a directional lock (which we always ask about since they can be tricky), but reassured us that their version wasn’t overly complicated—and they were right.

We powered through the first room and unlocked all five puzzles in about 10 minutes. Once we entered the second room, the real challenge began. It definitely tested our teamwork and communication, but that’s what made it so fun. We managed to solve all but one of the remaining puzzles without using any hints, and we escaped with about two minutes left on the clock, not bad for one of their more difficult rooms!

Afterward, we took our victory photos and were given a discount code for our next visit. We’re already planning to come back for the Cursed Sea room. Highly recommend Puzzle Effect if you’re looking for a well-run, challenging, and fun escape room experience!

We had so much fun! Laughed the entire time! The escape room we were in was phenomenal and already want to go back to take on another one of the many escape rooms they have. I had no idea the puzzle effect escape rooms in Uptown Phoenix location had so many rooms.

I recently had an amazing time at Puzzle Effect, taking on two of their most challenging escape rooms: Amnesia and Emerald Seas. I can’t recommend this place enough!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was fantastic. Our game master, Justin, was exceptional! He guided us through both rooms, providing hints only when we truly needed them, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

With just four players, we managed to escape both rooms, and it was a blast! The puzzles were cleverly designed, and the immersive environments truly transported us into the scenarios.

I will definitely be returning for more adventures in the future. If you’re looking for a fun and challenging escape room experience, head to Puzzle Effect!

My husband and I had another great experience at Puzzle Effect. This was our second visit, and this time we did the Emerald Seas room…so much fun! The room is challenging, but if you stay focused it’s definitely achievable. The decor is great, and there are several fun, non-traditional puzzles. We have done dozens of escape rooms all over the world, and Puzzle Effect ranks really high for us. Plus, the staff are just great. Two thumbs up from us!

This is so much fun and was our second time going. My kids (17 & 13) had a great time! The rooms are well designed with their themes and the staff are all really friendly. Sam, our game master, was especially nice. She explained everything well and in a way that was fun for the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back again!

Heather was a fantastic game master. We had a wonderful experience as our 1st time playing the Puzzle Effect Rooms. We will definitely be coming back for another challenge.

Bam Kazam is an awesome experience! It’s like an interactive arcade mixed with escape rooms and game show-style challenges. My group had a great time—we especially loved the Haunted Room, Spaceship, and Jeopardy-style room. Each one was creative, fast-paced, and a lot of fun to solve as a team.
The layout is smart, and the variety keeps it interesting. You can retry rooms as much as you want within your session time, which makes it low pressure and high energy.
Staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire space was clean and well organized. Some rooms could use a little maintenance, but overall, it was a fantastic time. Highly recommend for groups of 3–5 people looking for something active and different to do in Scottsdale!

First time experiencing this type of fun! It was definitely challenging. Teamwork, critical thinking and a bit of a physical challenge was part of experience. Staff were amazing. Very kind and helpful. Shout out to Kayla for making our last minutes at Bam Kazam even more memorable!

Such a fun venue! The rooms are so well done. The themes are amazing and we always have a great time! Been here at least 4 times and plan on coming back soon. The staff is awesome too!

Way cool place! Is not ab escape room, but same idea with a lot more movement and involvement from everyone. Each room has 3 levels within it. You get a 3 minute timer to finish each level. If you lose, no problem! You can try as many times as you want. We had a group of 12 peeps and just split up into two groups of 6. Great way to pass by 2 hours of your day.

Milo and Angel were extremely helpful. They helped give us an amazing experience, were funny, and very kind. I would will 100% come here again, and beat the rooms!

The two hours flew by. Definitely easier with a group of 4 or 5. We had three. Some rooms were better than others. Not a fan of the haunted house condemning us to hell. No idea what we were doing and yet we somehow made it to level three where we were supposed to strap someone down as a sacrifice. No thanks. Otherwise, kid friendly and we’d probably go again someday. The staff was great if we needed hints. They stayed in the hall if you needed anything.

This place is genuinely the best place I have been to in a long time. I really enjoyed the thrill of the way the games are set up. Quick and interesting. They seem to be more teen focused because the puzzles are easy but take a little bit of thought and the sizes fit adults for the activities. I would highly recommend this place. Plus the employees seemed awesome. There was this one employee named Ista that checked in on us everytime we passed by. They were also really kind and helpful with giving us hints or assistance. I am definitely going again and I would recommend other people go to.

North Valley Escape Room is the best. We’ve done escape rooms at other places, but the kids always say North Valley is their favorite and only want to come back here. The customer service is excellent – Kiersten and David go out of their way to make sure the experience is the best, and the game masters have all been very good! Prices are fair and the games very immersive. Thank you North Valley Escape Room!

North Valley Escape Room hands down is our favorite escape room in Arizona! Our family has loved every room we have tried there. Our first one we tried was Alcatraz. We loved Sabotage, the Haunted Great Outdoors, Slaycation and so many more.

We love how creative and thought out the rooms are. We really love escaping to explore more than one room so this venue never disappoints us! The game masters are always great and friendly!

We drive about 50 minutes from Scottsdale and think it’s absolutely worth the drive!

We visited for my daughter’s birthday along with her friend, and had a fantastic experience! Kiersten was incredibly professional, accommodating, and made us feel welcome. We tried the Help Save Christmas escape room, and David was wonderfully patient, friendly, and helpful throughout. The room had a delightful scent, was beautifully set up, and featured creative locks and codes. We had such a great time that we’re already planning to return with the whole family. Can’t wait to try more rooms! Highly recommend!!

North Valley continues to set such a high standard for escape room companies, customer service is always phenomenal and the rooms are just as good. I’ve now done almost all the rooms here plus some they closed (I think a total of like 10) and I would definitely recommend. Alcatraz and Big Top blew us away and the others were a fantastic time as well. Great atmosphere for families, beginners and enthusiasts alike!

Yall…THIS PLACE! These rooms are incredible. So far, my fiance and I have done the Steampunk and Curse of Fall Mountain. They’ve both been so immersive and well done. Both times, we’ve left wanting to do another room immediately. We’ve done about 30-40 rooms throughout the valley, and this one is top tier. The price, the rooms, the puzzles, and the decor all come together to make one of the best Escape Room experiences we’ve ever had. You will not be disappointed!

Such a great time even though we almost finished lol . Staff were very friendly and environment was good. This location is pretty far from me but was worth the trip. We did get some scares it was pretty fun .

Felt kind of cheated. They say the room is wheelchair accessible and sure our grandma was able to get her wheel chair inside the room but that was it. There isn’t any room to maneuver her around. So she ended up just staring at an empty side of the tiny room most of the hour. My 2nd gripe is that a lot of the puzzles felt cheap. Like there’s a blacklight one and I guess the blacklight is supposed to reveal a pattern that then makes it obvious how to solve the next step except you can’t even see it! Even after the guy pointed it out to us we could kinda sorta tell there was something there but I sure couldn’t tell what it was! There’s also a drink recipe puzzle and the only clue to tell you where you need to put the drinks are extremely faded into the wood. And at the risk of not giving any spoilers the image had absolutely nothing to do with alcohol or glasses or bottles… if we COULD even see the symbols the last thing we would think is to put the drinks on them. Anyways…. Im not sure how any of their other rooms are but my whole family felt like we got kinda cheated.

The Immersive Machine was such a cool experience for an escape room! Our game host did a great job explaining the mission and we loved all the cool props. When we walked into the escape room there was so much to explore before we even got started. Everything in the escape room was easy to understand but just difficult enough to make it super fun. There was a lot of laughter from the interactive “help” we could get. For two people we were able to complete the mission in just under an hour. Would highly recommend this escape room for groups of 2-4 people looking for some fun and great humor. Looking forward to trying the other up and coming escape rooms these owners have in the works. Like their website states, this “escape room” is story driven. It’s not like most escape rooms where you are locked in a room and have to maneuver several locks- it’s like an investigation, scavenger hunt, and puzzle all in one. We went for a friend’s birthday and there were moments when we could not stop laughing. There were some really cool tech ideas there too. Lots of creativity has gone into this “mom and pop” game experience. There is a selection of jackets, headgear and glasses you can wear to immerse yourself in the experience. This is a refreshing take on the escape room- it’s a must experience!

This was such an amazing experience! We have done many escape rooms but none quite like this. The story was really engaging and the puzzles were challenging but there’s a fun helper in the room just in case that made it even more fun for us! By far the most fun and low pressure experience we have had! Thank you to Sal and Crumbs for making it a great time! I highly recommend this escape experience!!

My boyfriend and I had a blast, the experience exceeded our expectations and had us put reality aside for a while to fully enjoy the puzzles. He loves the cyberpunk theme and this room was perfect for him. There was a LOT of effort and work put into this place, my mind was blown when we were told there’s two people behind the scenes! We’re newer to escape rooms so we finished quite late but got some help from a friend (best part). My only grievance is that this room set my expectations so high for anywhere else I go. 100/10 would recommend, worth the drive, money, and time spent. We’re so excited to see upcoming rooms.

Absolutely one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever done. The game is tailored to the capabilities of the players, the set is absolutely phenomenal. And something that makes this escape room unique is its humor – the room is littered with subtle jokes and fun puzzles that simply make it unique and amiable. Absolutely have to try it out, the tech, the set, the staff, and the intuition is beyond incredible.

My friends and I just finished this, and as escape room pros, we had a phenomenal time. The story telling and environment/set dressing design was incredible and immersive. We finished fast, but the puzzles were fun and enjoyable. Crumb was the best part. Support this place so they can add additional rooms to their theme.

My daughter’s and I have done many escape rooms together. And this might be the best, most immersive escape room we’ve ever done. You could tell that they’ll creators took a lot of care and thought into this experience. They let us know that have new rooms coming out and we can’t wait to try those out too.

Did the Robot themed escape room and it was incredible! Very immersive. You definitely need a minimum of 4 players, and you’ll see why when you do it. The designers/owners really put all the thoughts and little details in when designing this space – from the waiting lobby, to the check in area and gift shop, to the hang out room afterwards, and especially the escape rooms themselves!!! Honestly, the best escape room ever — it’s ruined all other half-done rooms for me.

We built a visit to The Nemesis Club into our family reunion, and with 20 of us, it proved to be an unforgettable highlight! They offer three distinct escape rooms: Evil Robot, The Henchmen Heist, and the Mogollon Monster.

The adults in our group were wisely advised to try the Mogollon Monster, and we’re so glad we did. It was an incredibly intense experience (perhaps too scary for young children!) and remarkably immersive. We genuinely felt like we were lost in a dense forest, surrounded by realistic trees and even dirt. The puzzles were both challenging and abundant, ensuring all six adults in our group were actively engaged and collaborating to solve different elements. The design quality is outstanding, clearly the work of a former Disney designer – the highlight being a moment where our ‘trailer’ actually rocked as the sasquatch approached our camp! It was absolutely thrilling.

The younger members of our family had equally fantastic times: seven girls, aged 11 to 18, absolutely loved the Evil Robot room, while our six boys, ranging from 9 to 22, had a blast with The Henchmen Heist. The true testament to The Nemesis Club’s appeal is that, even after a full week of diverse reunion activities, numerous family members singled out the escape rooms as their favorite part of the entire trip!

A little secret: The Nemesis Club is accessed through a hidden door within the Soda Jerk Co soda shop. Be sure to treat yourselves to their shakes – they are enormous and genuinely the best we’ve ever had! As a Phoenix resident, I now tell everyone visiting the area that The Nemesis Club is the first thing they need to experience.

We escaped! Definitely in our top favorite rooms. Super fun to hangout and enjoy a dessert afterwards in the lounge with table service. And great seeing the looks when Soda Jerk guests suddenly see a group of you emerge from the freezer randomly

These Escape Rooms are challenging, detailed, and fun. Overall a top notch experience and the entire place is hidden behind a secret door – couldn’t get much cooler than that! We hosted a birthday party here for my 11 year old son and the kids had a blast. The only downside was that we couldn’t bring in an outside cake. But we would do an escape room here again in a heartbeat for a family outing, celebration, or even a fun team building. Absolutely recommend!

Absolutely, hands down the best experience! If you are on the fence, just book it! Just did a family night in the Evil Robot room, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was all around five stars. The best part was the staff we spoke with were absolutely incredible, if I could give them ten stars I would. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you Nemesis Club for a great night!

We just finished a team building experience with The Evil Robot. We got down to the wire but with Preston’s assistance WE MADE IT! This was fun and spotlighted our different teammates strengths. I recommend this for all professional groups! Preston, we appreciate you!

Fabulous experience! Went with friends who had been before and highly recommend it. From the get go this place was awesome. The way you started your room, the decor and the room itself were amazing. We took on the Mogollon Monster and actually won…with help from Ranger Ethan of course. His contributions also made the escape room that much better! Highly recommend The Nemesis Club Escape Games and I really, really want to spill the beans on how you get started, but it’s something have to go see for yourself…and don’t skip the ice cream!

My 10-year-old son and I had an amazing time at Eludesions Escape Rooms (now under new management)! We took on the Wizard of Oz room and solved it with just one minute left—such a fun and exciting experience! The puzzles were clever, the room was immersive, and it kept us thinking the entire time. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—special thanks to Athena, Marco, and the whole crew. I also had the chance to speak directly with the owner, Eddie—he’s awesome and truly focused on great customer service. Highly recommend for families, friends, or anyone looking for a memorable escape room adventure!

This was the best team building activity ever. Their management is wonderful. I was planning our annual leadership retreat and needed support multiple times. Every time, I was treated so well and promptly. Eddie, the owner, is great at taking care of their customers. On arrival, the manager and staff also were amazing. We played the Mad Hatter which was the best way to unwind after a day full of strategy setting meetings and discussions. Absolutely recommend it!

I had a group of seven girls ages 11-12 and chose the Mad Hatter room and it did not disappoint one bit. The design and detail were incredible, and it was such a creative and fun experience. This was our very first escape room, and it exceeded all of our expectations. Eduardo, our host, was fantastic and made the experience even better. I would highly recommend Eludesions and can’t wait to return to try their other escape room adventures with my family or friends.

We had a wonderful time in the Wizard of Oz escape room! The puzzles were challenging but still fun and the clues were helpful in guiding us without giving it away. The rooms were beautiful and well themed

Had a wonderful time at Eludesions! Our group had two adults and two kids (ages 5-8) and the Escape from Oz room was perfect for a first-time experience. There was something for everyone and it was VERY family friendly. We enjoyed nearly the full hour, making it out with 3 minutes to spare. We can’t wait to come back for the Hatter’s Tea Party.

We had a great time doing the Mad Hatter room for a girl’s night out. It was challenging but we were able to get out in 46 minutes with us all working together. The host was very nice and explained everything well.

This is the 4th time we went to this escape room and it is definitely the best of all the places we have gone. Every room we have done is so much fun! The attention to detail, the way they made the rooms is like your imagination coming to life, staff is amazing and the front lobby is so inviting and prepares you for what to come! Definitely worth the money!!

What an amazing experience. The staff are fun and friendly, the lobby and decor are top notch (you can tell they’ve put a lot of effort into the details of your experience from start to finish). We did the “Art Heist” room and it’s by far the coolest escape room we’ve ever been to hands down. It was challenging, creative, and exciting at every turn. You never want it to end! I’ll be back next week to try their “Isle of Wonder” room. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this spot, it’s a gem!!!

I came for my Birthday and it was our party of 3 first time. David was very nice talking to us before we went into the Museum room and VERY nice helping us throughout. We had a blast and escaped with 4 minutes to spare! The puzzles were just the right amount of challenging. I recommend this escape room and will be trying the Isle of Wonder room for sure!

Wow! This escape room spot is amazing. My husband and I have done many escape rooms around the world and this one has been our favorite. Well thought out, immersive and an overall great time. They even have a really cool relax / hangout area for larger groups or between rooms. Would highly recommend and will be back!!

The Greatest Escape was SO MUCH FUN! I was worried bringing a 4 and 7 year old, but they had a blast as well. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the sound wasn’t too loud for them and that there were puzzles for them to solve. The puzzles were so clever and the decor in the rooms were amazing. We had so much fun that we ended up doing both the Museum and the Isle of Wonder. Highly recommend for all looking for some family fun!

We’ve done both Isle of Wonder & just recently the Museum of History, both have been absolutely amazing! As an escape room lover, the puzzles are intricate and can be hard but not so hard where they don’t make sense even after you solve them. The theming of the rooms are incredibly and the pricing is extremely reasonable! Highly recommend for anyone looking to do an escape room!

Best.escape room.ever!! We travel a lot and have experienced lots of escape rooms, this one tops the list!! The immersive experience is top notch, the service is spectacular and very unique puzzles and story. We went as a family with young kids and were able to escape the room in time with 39 seconds left! This place was clean and Drew was very helpful!! We will definitely come back to do their other rooms.

We completed the hangover II room yesterday as two people. We later found out it was one of the more difficult rooms in their listing.
We definitely struggled but they helped us with a generous amount of prompts and hints.
It was a lot of fun, but it was more of a puzzle solving one than an escape room- totally fine though.

My only gripe is that for the price of the room the quality is lacking. Maybe it was intentional as the theme? I just have been to many well designed and decorated escape rooms that made this one feel cheap and I was disappointed in that piece.
I’d come back if someone wanted to come here specially but it wouldn’t be my first pick as a result.
Also a note: they have two locations in the same plaza and we went to the wrong one to begin with. Thankfully friendly staff redirected us but make sure you read the email!

We had a fun time as a group of 6, clues were helpful and provided as needed to keep us flowing through and enjoy the experience as we seemed to complete a lot of tasks kind of out of order. Would go back!

Decent escape room experience, we have been here a few times. With that being said, the quality of the rooms are not the best. Cheaply made and quickly thrown together lit seems like.

We celebrated our sons 12th birthday!! The kids had a blast and we were able to celebrate with cake and treats for an hour afterwards in a separate event room they had!
The staff are so helpful and friendly and the boys are still talking about it!!

Took my girlfriend for our anniversary and had a blast, staff were super helpful and we had a wonderful time overall, would definitely check out one of the other rooms offered in the future
