We went to watch Weapons on Wednesday evening we were in theater 14. We picked seats in Row K seat 6 7 8. Those seats were wrapped in plastic. After we addressed management and brought it to their attention we were moved to other seats. No explanation was given why the seats were covered. Fans were out in the hallways and wet floor signs.

The place has a run-down, retro feel with tacky floors and bathrooms that definitely need more cleaning but the staff was nice and the movie itself looked and sounded great. The popcorn was hot and it gets the job done. I might go back on a quieter night.

We just saw the new Ron Howard film at this Harkins location. It’s a great location for us, and we like that it’s not one of the giant theaters! We took advantage of a “date night” promotion: BOGO popcorn and drink. Fun! The young woman who helped us at the snack bar was SO nice and very capable!! We had not been to the theater in quite some time. It was so enjoyable that we plan to go again soon and often! Of course there’s always a weird person who makes noise while you’re trying to view the film — we had to move away from a guy who constantly jammed his hand into his popcorn bag so he could shove the most corn into his mouth. So annoying. Thankfully there were other available seats!

Never disappoints! Best theater in the area. Popcorn is the best and service is great! Only nice add would be recliners as most Harkins already have them. Nevertheless, I come here every week!

The place is clean. We went on a weekend it’s crowded. But I wish seats were upgraded. They’re way too old and cushion sinks in way too much. But the food we got is Popcorn and water almost $25 is way too pricey compared to other competitors.

Such a clean theatre and attentive staff! My only suggestion would be to add reclining seats, as most theatres have them nowadays. Regardless, the atmosphere and food is amazing!

This is a nice theater. Clean and convenient to great shopping and restaurant options. The eat in dining menu is pretty tasty too.

I have been to this location multiple times, and each time was great! The seats were nice, and I loved the dine-in experience. The food and drinks were all delicious!

are we serious right now. every time i have the misfortune of getting tickets for this theater i forget that it’s the worst viewing experience on earth due to the walls blocking half the screen. if im paying 16 dollars for a movie i should only be charged 8 here because i can only see the top half of it. i can’t believe this hasnt been fixed yet, everyone i know hates coming here for the same reason. whoever designed this theater cheated on their architecture degree. please fix this

Movie started a little late while they squeezed in several more commercials and promoted their exclusive club, then once the previews did start it was 30 more minutes of trailers and more commercials before the movie actually started, making the whole time sitting there close to 3 hours for a 2:15 minute movie. There is a lot of light left on in the theater and people walking around for the first 30 minutes of the film serving food, and the lights never dimmed. Would be nice if at least the light right next to your head could manually be turned off. Personally I’d never go back, was not for me, but if you want to eat and can handle lighting, lots of advertising and people walking around maybe you will like it?

We really enjoyed this theatre. It was bright and clean and I didn’t mind that to purchase movie tickets or food you are using a kiosk. After placing your food order you must include your theatre and seat number and the food is brought directly to you by a server. I have never been to a theatre that does this so I thought that was pretty cool.

I loved the way that the seats in the theatre were staggered. They were in smaller clusters so you do not have to walk through a long row of people to get to your seats.

The building surrounding the theatre is undergoing construction so there is a lot of unfinished work and the escalator was not functional.

Absolutely the worst movie experience I’ve ever had.
First, parking was a nightmare. The garage was hard to find, nearly full, and squeezing in with my full-size SUV was not fun. After finally parking, we had to trek through 112-degree heat just to find the theater.
When we got inside, we discovered the “Dine In” was exactly that—you don’t order from your seat – we had to stand in line and wait for a kiosk to order our food, then wait in another line at the bar where two overwhelmed staff members were trying to both take orders and make drinks. By the time we got our drinks and made it to our seats, we were greeted by broken chairs with torn, worn-out vinyl armrests.
The sound quality was awful, and every time someone in the back row stood up, they blocked the screen. When our food arrived, one of the orders was wrong. The server told us to take it to the bar to have it fixed—really? I decided to keep it, because it was my order but it was so spicy I had to go down anyway to get another drink.
When I did, they claimed my card didn’t go through the first time and offered to add it to the new order. I agreed—only to find out later that the original charge had gone through. Now I’m dealing with AMEX to dispute the charge but because they are two different amounts they had to open an investigation.
And the final insult? We had to pay $17 for parking on top of everything else.
If you want an enjoyable movie night, skip this place entirely and head a few miles north to Talking Stick’s Roadhouse Cinemas. You’ll thank me later.

Overall good experience. The theater validates parking which is nice. The snacks were good. I just thought the seats were kind of uncomfortable. Our screen was also not very big. I would’ve sat closer had I known the screen would be so small.

Decent movie theater, sound was great, seats weren’t the best but it was one of the smaller rooms. No parking in a walkable radius except a car garage you have to pay for. So you spend 20 on tickets and popcorn then another 20 to leave. Outside of the parking I enjoyed my movie and I thought the theater was pretty clean. I gave it 2 stars for location but overall my experience at this theater was a 4

Definitely needs to be upgraded to the recliners and the theater itself is hard to find from parking garage. Once we found the place it was fine. But for being near a lot of affluent shops, and having a very upgraded lobby, I would think of the theater would have updated seats.

My stepson requested to see Megan 2.0. This isn’t our usual AMC we go to but it had the most convenient time so we drove a little further for that. This location needs some love but it’s still a great place to see a movie! It’s very spacious and the employees are wonderful. We love AMC for their delicious popcorn and unbeatable service at every location. We also love their rewards program.

Love going here, but the manager in customer service has a bad attitude when i needed a refund. Wasn’t my fault movie got interrupted he started raising his voice and told everyone no refunds! Gave us free passes and said he couldn’t do nothing about the 100 dollars of food i got to watch the movie.

The Arizona Center has always and will forever be one of My Most Favorite places. I used to bring my children here to watch movies.
Occasionally, I would go to Hooters for the tasty, delicious , yummy wings and the awful customer service from the waitresses. The only time the customer service was ok was when the waitress would see that there were male individuals sitting with me at my table. So happy to hear Hooters isn’t there anymore and replacing it will be a Fabulous Steak House!!!! I can’t wait! They have a roller skating rink here too!!!!

Very dirty, smells like a bathroom toilet stall. No food at all. Hot dogs were 15-20 min until done, the oven is down so they can’t cook anything. All they had at this time was popcorn, pop, candy, nachos. Tickets are super cheap. I would eat something prior to coming in or sneak it in.

Parking validation is inside to the right after you get your ticket scanned. Parking is still pretty inconvenient and the entrance is on the lease logical side and so I ended up walking all the way around the outside of the theater in 100° heat

The theater itself is clean, modern, and offers a great experience with comfortable reclining seats that make for a relaxing movie dates. However, the food selection can be hit or miss. The nacho cheese, for example, is a letdown as it’s replaced with a cheaper alternative, Rico’s, which just doesn’t measure up to the usual AMC standard (see last photo with 2 different cheeses). While the overall experience is enjoyable, the food inconsistency is definitely something that could be improved.

I love coming to this AMC location! It’s always a great experience and the employees really make you feel at home. Whenever I have an issue, they are quick to resolve it.

Tonight I lost a pair of headphones, and even late at night, I was able to call and get help. Tad (spelling) was super friendly and went out of his way to assist me. Huge kudos to him and the team!

Ok, so I first went to this theater to see Ballerina in theater 3, I believe – great experience. Reclining, comfortable, and roomy seats. Just missing the small table some other theaters have but no big deal there. Last Saturday, we came back to see F1 in IMAX, expecting another great experience… But OMG, is this IMAX the first there ever was? Sure looks like it! IMAX costs more than regular movies without IMAX… but why? The old red seats, no reclining, and SO CLOSE together. Why should this experience cost more when accommodations are better WITHOUT IMAX? If that wasn’t enough, they let us go in there on a day that reached over 115 degrees KNOWING their air conditioner in there is out of service. So many of us were noticeably hot – fanning ourselves with napkins or popcorn bags. It was ridiculous!! AMC, update the IMAX theater already! It’s 2025!

This theater is beautiful, and the staff is friendly. I love how open the theaters layout is, very modern. The IMAX screen, and sound is impeccable. My only complaint is the IMAX seating; it’s uncomfortable, and antiquated.

It’s smaller than expected and it’s not easy to find parking mainly seats are not comfortable. Everything is clean.

It was the first time my wife and I went to this theater and we went in to watch “I know what you did last summer” they left lights on through the whole previews. Ok maybe it’s a simple mistake no worries but they left lights on for 20 minutes into the movie! I had to get up and tell them 3 times that the lights were left on which ruins the movie, all they told me was ” I’ll have someone turn it off” but took them after the third time to do it.
Now cleanliness was another issue.
It was a date night for my wife and I ,as we walked into our row, there was trash all down our row and my wife sat on what I believe was nacho cheese on her seat and arm rest were sticky from spilled soda, which a quick wipe down could of fixed, the little dividers that separated rows had gum stuck on it and just very dirty.
Will not be coming back to this theater

Nice, clean movie theater. Staff were friendly. We interacted with the manager( just a question) and they were professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The concession stand and surrounding areas was clean. The employees were helpful with drinks and snacks. We booked the tickets online and that is the way to go-no lines! The theater was nice and cold inside-wonderful since it was 110 degrees outside. Felt very safe inside the theater as we saw the manager come in and make a sweep of the theater. We went on a Monday night after opening weekend and the theater was wide open with seats. We saw Nobody 2 and it was funny, especially for a sequel. Really enjoyed our date night!

We had a dad and daughter movie time here, and we both loved it very much. The sounds, video, and service were great. The popcorn was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend it here.

The theatre is always clean and the staff friendly. But I really want to thank Harkins for modifying the area where disabled patrons sit. My mom stopped going to the movies because she couldn’t go up and down stairs. She was forced to sit on the lower level, and often missed some of the movies when people crossed in front of her. With the recent modifications, she can use the new ramp and sit on a higher level. This thoughtfulness was deeply appreciated.

I brought my 14-year-old son and his friend to see the anime movie Demon Slayer at Harkins. When we arrived, I walked them in and explained to the staff that they had my permission to watch the movie. However, the employees informed me that because it was rated R, I would not only need to purchase a ticket but also sit through the entire film with them. I understand theaters have policies, but it was frustrating that written or verbal parental permission wasn’t enough. Instead of trusting a parent’s judgment, they require full attendance. This rule feels excessive and makes it unnecessarily difficult for responsible parents and teens who just want to enjoy a movie.

Website claims “Ultimate Rocker plush rocking loveseats with adjustable arm rests let you comfortably sit back, relax and enjoy the show” however this theater has the old seating. Would not have purchased tickets for this theater if I’d known, as the updated theaters cost the same for more comfort. Guess I should have checked reviews first. Everything else was fine.

Enjoyed a movie at this Harkins and had pizza for lunch while watching. Great facility and the food and service were great. Hot food and great seating. Will be coming here again.

The manager was awesome when I arrived there. I didn’t realize that I had missed about close to an hour of time on the movie of things. Snow white, but the manager went ahead and credit me snow white and change it to the king of kings, which was also an animated, my wife enjoyed it on Easter, I’m very grateful to the manager that was there to do that. I mean, I hold a high respect for him. Thank you very much for this for doing that, from my wife and I. God bless him. Thank you.

The movie theater is clean and the employees are very helpful. I was meeting friends and they helped us find each other. The food/drink is the usual fare but the seats were very comfortable, they reclined!! The movie was a little loud, glad I brought ear plugs.

We attended a private screening in which my nephew was one of the main characters. The event was awesome! Harkins Theaters made it very easy and enjoyable. They were very organized and accommodating. The theater troop that produced and directed the film was Empower. Top notch fanfare. It was truly a great experience, all experience around.

We love the Harkins 14 at Scottsdale 101. It’s a clean, modern theater with plenty of comfortable seating. The theaters are well-sized, and even a packed theater still sits well.
I love getting an XL popcorn and enjoying the refill with the family.
They always have the new movies and good showtimes.
This is our preferred theater and we’ll be back!

Recently saw Downton Abbey: Grand Finale on the Harkins 101 Cine Capri screen (I was at last week of original Cine Capri and still have fragment of the gold curtain) and the film was heartwarmingly nostalgic, opulent and thoroughly enjoyable. Theater is always clean, comfortable and has good sightlines. Harkins popcorn is always excellent.

The AARP screening of the Baltimorons was fabulous. Everyone was so nice and helpful!

Had an amazing time at this theater! The staff were incredible friendly. Nate M, the person who took my order at the concession stand was extremely nice, polite, and on task. It was Very clean and comfortable, and the movie experience was absolutely fantastic!

Not sure how much longer this theater will stay in business. I’ve been twice in the last month, and it was pretty empty. No surprise that drinks/snacks were overpriced. Movie viewing and sound quality were great and the times offered were good as well. The staff was friendly.

I’ve been coming to this theater for almost a decade and have always had wonderful experiences. Today started out a bit rocky — the manager on duty (woman with long, dark hair) seemed frustrated when we needed assistance and wouldn’t even make eye contact with us — but thankfully, another employee named Charles stepped in and completely turned the situation around. He helped us with a smile, treated us with respect, and made us feel valued as customers. Charles is a shining example of great customer service and truly deserves recognition for his kindness and professionalism.

Clean but feels like it needs some upgrades. Saw some seats that were torn up and in serious need of repair. Seats we had were pretty good. I like the choice of soda and the popcorn was fair with the option to add more butter flavored grease. It is very expensive and you should get your tickets and seating way in advance otherwise you will miss out.

I liked my seats, but the guy next to me his seat wouldn’t recline. I also definitely do not like cost especially when everything is kiosk and I feel I had to do everything myself. I wanted extra butter half way through the popcorn. The two people behind the counter were like it’s already prepared. Get your own drink.

The service is great and buying tickets online is way easier than using the kiosks. The food isn’t anything special, but the nuggets are tasty and work if you just need a quick bite. I usually come on Tuesdays for the half-off tickets with the rewards card.

First visit today ay this amc and had a great time. Really dig the touch screen concession kiosks.

I used to come to this location a lot, but the Theater has really declined. Ordered a large popcorn for $10 and it was served cold. We requested another one, and the replacement was cold as well. Seats in the theater seem to be in good order and in working condition. Would prefer another company/location.

La película estaba en español súper interesante. The movie was in Spanish. We went on a Sunday 11:45 am we purchased the tickets on Fandango app and they were way cheaper. Bajen la aplicación Fandango y sus boletos serán más baratos. El cine queda fuera del Mall Dysert Sky a un lado de Burlington.

Quisimos ver una película nueva y en Español. Busqué en Google y nos salió este cine! Todo bien organizado. La película estaba clara y el idioma estaba perfecto. Al fin pudimos disfrutar una película en familia. Tienen lo sencillo para comer como palomitas y nachos. También venden dulces y ojalá en un poco más tiempo agregan otras cosas para picar. Pero todo perfecto! Los asientos y el cine muy limpio. Vamos a regresar pronto!

This movie place was really cool. I liked the big screen. The sound was loud and clear. The snacks were yummy. The seats were comfy. The place looked clean too. I had a great time there.

Mi asombro fue encontrar en Phoenix, un cine tan antiguo, creo q no entraba a un cine asi hace más de 30 años, pensaba q ya no existían y menos en EEUU, eso si buen servicio, “limpio” y personal agradable.

Me encanta ir al cine a ver los estrenos de las películas. El cine siempre está limpio, Me da tristeza que no vaya la gente muchas ocasiones somos r o 6 personas viendo la función.

Saw Fantastic 4. Area is nice. Theater seats were a liitle rough, but seen worse. Sound was great. The picture was good as well. AMC is a little excessive with trailers and ads now. Had refreshments delivered to our seats, which it was good there were lots of trailers or the movie would have been half over. Our home theater just has the mobile orders out and you grab them and go in. Since the kids drinks you have to fill yourself that works better and you don’t have to wonder if they are going to show up. Id think delivering to your seat would take a lot of extra staff as well. Over positive movie experience.

My partner and I came to see a movie about a week ago, not even. Will be happy to post our transactions if anything actually comes of this, which in the theater it did not. My partner and I bought movie tickets for a showing that was over an hour past when we arrived. It was a last minute, he was feeling good and we felt like doing SOMETHING. We purchased tickets, went to the bar and nursed a beer for about an hour. We arrived anywhere from 45-60 minutes before the show started. The bartender, a shaved head person who lied to me and their own staff, saying to us that we “spaced out” for any amount of time and to their boss said my partner “nodded off,” refused to serve my partner after the one beer. To clarify, my partner has Multiple Sclerosis, making it difficult at many moments for him to walk, speak, breathe, etc. The bartender denied him, quoting, “I think you’ve had enough.” After I tried to pull the bartender aside and talked to them, they told me one thing and their management another. And even after talking to said manager (who said they could review the footage), ANOTHER person came out, claiming no knowledge of anything. This place is discriminatory, hateful and never going to take accountability for their shortcomings. I, along with my MS ridden partner, will never attend an AMC studio again. I have consulted with a lawyer to actually see what can be done, and would love for AMC desert ridge to own up to their shortcomings. I asked for footage to be reviewed and even though an employee, a manager, woman with dark brown hair and slender frame, assured me that the video would be looked over immediately, sent a completely different man over, maybe mixed respectful person. The way your staff handled this is disgusting. The fact that you all allowed someone with MS to be discriminated upon because he slurs.. I can’t believe that.

Went in to see weapons (no spoilers) and was surprised by how clean the auditorium was. I was not happy with the IMAX presentation though. For paying a premium I was expecting more comfortable seats and a nicer theater environment. AC was louder than most auditoriums and the seats were starting to show visible wear and tear. What saved it was the food. The wings maple wings with the garlic sauce were absolutely amazing. I would to back just for the wings. Just don’t expect a timely arrival if you order ahead. I placed my order two hours in advance and still got my food twenty minutes late. Overall, for an AMC it was clean and the staff was friendly.

I always enjoy coming to this theater. The reclining seats are a great feature, but keep in mind that not all auditoriums have them—be sure to check online when buying tickets. The concession area is usually pretty busy, but since we typically skip snacks, it’s not an issue for us. Parking is always easy, which is a big plus.

We went to the grateful dead movie which was great, however, the IMAX theatre was warm. It was the first time I have ever been in a warm movie theatre. The dude sitting next to me left after 1 hour. I asked the bartender about speaking with to the manager about it . A young man who was hanging out with him said they were having issues with their a/c but he would make an adjustment to cool it down but it would take 20 minutes. This solution sounded great to me given there was maybe another 1.5 hours of viewing. The theatre did cool down which made me wonder why they let it get warm to begin with. Call and ask them about their a/c issues and the current temperature settings before going to the show to make sure it will be cool enough. Also, the Imax could also use a refresh as it is a bit dingy . Movie gets a 5 and theatre gets a 2.5 which I rounded to 3.

Pretty good location overall! Has your usual movie theater qualms like bathroom mess and not the most pristine seats, but the staff is helpful and seems to do what they can. Food quality is pretty subpar.

My major complaint is the volume level in the Dolby theaters. My wife and I went to a Superman screening, and I can’t even begin to express how uncomfortably loud the theater was. I’m 28 with no hearing issues and was immediately nauseated – we literally rolled napkins up to stuff in our ears. Otherwise, we would’ve had to walk out. The sound mix isn’t great either – the trebles are very sharp and piercing, counteracting any immersion.

The volume level seems unsafe for everyone’s hearing. Hopefully that can be reduced, but in the meantime I suppose I’ll remember to bring earplugs to movies from now on.

Cheeseburger was greasy left marks on our clothes. We didn’t even finish it. Dine in part was not great at all. I was expecting to order from our seat like most other places do. I will stick to Majestic Theaters

IMAX was good. We saw the John Lennon documentary. The sound was extremely loud. The seats don’t decline.

Comfy seats, clean theater, nice bathrooms, kind employees, great customer service, and we have always had a good experience here. The candy/popcorn area seems to move quickly -the line may look long but it moves quickly. The theatre seems to stock a nice variety of different types of candy. The fast food area is continually being kept clean. The popcorn can be refilled once. If you buy one of their loyalty cups, you can get cheap refills of soda or Icee. Nice place to go to as a family.

Old run down. Terrible chairs from the 70s (you know the ones). Please update with some good reclining seats like all the other theaters. Harkins at 101 is much nicer.

Easy check in if you purchased the tickets online, just show them the QR code and they scan it, voila, you are in. Restrooms are clean and with large mirrors, you can refresh yourself easily there before you go out and rejoin your party/date. The recliner seats ( I have 2 at home but these are even better)are so comfortable, I don’t want to get up after 3 plus hours there (for Matrix 4). It is a dine in theater so we also ordered food, drink, popcorn and ice cream, all good with the nice tray table. I really enjoyed this visit.

AMC & IMAX Judy Hopps? Reserved Seating?

This is a nicely located theater with comfortable seating and good options for bites to eat and drinks to have. With the ability to reserve your seats online you’ll always be able to have the chance to sit right in your comfort zone. Dolby experience is most amazing for those movies you just want to get lost in. Check out their A-List it’s definitely worth it

$20 ticket, not worth it, very poor experience. Started with concessions out of large popcorn bags Friday night, I can understand Monday or even Sunday after a busy weekend but going into a weekend… next I used the restroom, 3 out of 4 soap dispensers out of soap, paper towel dispenser out, and in the lobby both hand sanitizers empty during a pandemic!!!…finally they smash the showtikes so close together, they wouldn’t let people into the theatre until 7 min before the show so I missed out on a lot of the pre show entertainment. This place needs better management lots of choices near here so I wont be back.
