Harrah’s in Maricopa is a really cool unique place! Our favorite amenity so far has been the pool! We reserved a pool side gazebo and it’s been amazing. Watching football in the shade, misters keeping us cool and amazing service bringing us food & drinks. The pool is super nice! We love the swim up bar and how one side is shallow (kid friendly) and the other side is deeper for adults.

Hotel room was very nice. Check in was relatively smooth. One complaint that I had was I had to pay $35 to check in 1 1/2 hours early. Room was already ready to use, no extra work for anyone. My other complaint was that I was not able to use a luggage trolly because they have attendants that want to carry your luggage, for a price.

I was having truck trouble (never buy a diesel the DEF is a joke of a system and is poorly designed it throttles you back to 5mph when it "thinks" there’s no DEF in it even where there is) so I detoured off I-8 / I-10 toward Phoenix. I drove by the hotel and casino and it was like a wonderful mirage! Got the room for about $99 N and it was a great room! King bed, shower that actually sprays you, lots of hot water, clean, AC worked, tv had good channel selection. Front desk staff was excellent as well. I parked in the oversized lot in back which was difficult to find a way in. One of the employees asked me if I wanted a ride to the front - Chris who works in sports book. What a gentleman. Now I’m trying out the restaurants. Oak & Fork Italian cuisine. So far so good

Customer service is horrible……. you have people at the card center the reward center talk down to you like you’re trying to pull something over their eyes to get a piece of silverware set. That’s gonna rust the first time you wash it oh my God try to get a drink in the casino by the time you actually get the drink you could be through $150 on that slot machine you’re sitting at they used to have fountain drinks there where you could go up to the fountain and fill your cup and you didn’t have to wait for 12 hours to get a bottle of water but you know what they had to take it out because people were coming with big cups and taking free soda and free coffee creamer home The poor casino wasn’t making no money they weren’t. They were losing money because of the people with bad intentions.

This is hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve had by far in my entire life. I don’t ever leave reviews but that’s how poor this place is. The staff is horrible. Asked to move my car when arriving to check in by security. No help with our bags. Total waste of money staying at this establishment. My fiance and I traveled from Alaska to Phoenix to visit family and were expecting to stay at AK chin for our whole trip because it was close to our families home. We only booked it for one night so we can get a feel of the place before booked our entire trip there considering there are many casino resorts in the area. When We arrived to the hotel and there was no valet or anyone to help us with our luggage. Once we checked in and got to our room we wanted a mountain side view so we went to front desk to get a different room with the view we wanted. The clerk at the desk had no problem switching rooms for us but we left our bags in the previous room we checked into when we first arrived. One of the staff members with super awkward energy escorted us to the original room we checked into and could not open the door with his key, he radioed another associate to come and they could not open the door to the room either. They expressed to us they were going to get a key to open the door from the front door desk, we waited at the room for someone to come back with the key to get our bags but after waiting 30 minutes, no one had come back. We than walked to the front desk ourselves and the gentleman that was supposed to return was the behind the front desk counter and said "oh my apologies, I forgot what room you guys were waiting at" and laughed in our face with the rest of staff. At this point an hour and some change has gone by and we have still not checked fully in to a room we’re wanting. He than escorts us back up to the original room they gave us at check in, we grab our things, he than escorts us to the elevator after we expressed we are good to go from here. I hit the down button on the elevator for the staff member to go back down to the lobby to go about his business while we go to our room, he ignores the down elevator and gets on the up elevator with my finance and I to our new room after we expressed we were good to go to get to other room. Very intrusive and very uncomfortable on his part. Eventually we get into the other room with the Mountain View wanted but it was still the same side of the hotel showing the parking lot so all that just to have the same view. What a waste of time and money. We called the front desk to ask for compensation for all the confusion, waiting and poor service only thing that was offered was a one hour later checkout. Poor communication between staff, poor customer service when arriving to the hotel is the reason for the 1 star.

Beautiful hotel!!!! My family and I stayed during our visit in Arizona. Im not much of a gambler but my aunt and uncle are. I loved the room! It was beautifully decorated and the shower!!! (Forgive me but after a 19 hour drive the room was a slice of heaven) We really enjoyed the pool area. We spent a lot if time there and the swim up bar was an awesome treat. Will definitely book again when we visit AZ.
