I wanted to love Escapology but this was the worst escape room we have done yet, and we’ve done probably about 50. That doesn’t mean it was absolutely horrendous, but it was underwhelming for the price. We did the Murder Mystery escape room, which, granted, was marked as a moderately hard room. However, there’s a difference between difficult and impossible to figure out. This room was the latter.

Part of the reason we kept struggling was because the room wasn’t properly functioning. Two clues weren’t in their proper place from the previous guests and the game masters had to come in and get them out of the locks with pliers. We weren’t given much extra time after these mishaps, and the clues they kept giving us were things we had already figured out — almost like they were AI generated or pre-loaded.

The entire room was just… underwhelming. I don’t necessarily regret doing this room, every Escape Room is a cool experience, this one was just not as cool, I guess.

Isaiah was our game host was Isaiah and he was the best had the best videos! Our wonderful game host was Sophia and thank goodness because we wouldn’t have been able to get through it!

Josh and Ali were super helpful! Made the experience really fun and enjoyable. They answered all our questions without being overwhelming. The room lost city was absolutely stunning! Very well put together.

Room we did was hard, but it was challenging in a fun way! Definitely will be going back to try other rooms.

Everyone was very nice!! From the receptionist to the checkout person! Dr. Madden and Joanna couldn’t have been more professional and tried to make me feel more comfortable and cared for during my procedure.

The staff is very friendly and kind. Pricing is very reasonable. Kimberly was very knowledgeable and explained in simple language making it easy to understand the treatment I received. Will definitely return in the future for any more skin treatments!

My entire experience was amazing! The girl at the front desk was so nice and welcoming and then Kim was incredible! She was so fast and made me feel so comfortable and calm during my appointment. I’m so happy to have found them and I can wait to be back!

Blanco was a very nice lady. She was great about answering all my questions. Very kind. The front desk lady needs to work on greeting clients, smiling & making guests feel more comfortable.

Phoenix skin spa is wonderful, very detailed oriented, easy to sh Schedule an appointment ahead of time a time. Great staff and very fantastic Dr.!!! I will be coming back often thank you to all the stuff. They’re very nice. I always feel so comfortable.

My husband had some work done and I’ve been trying to get it done for myself and if not one thing is another…I referred my friend Irma. And loves her new look and Maria too. Well finally I decided to get my younger look done . So excited and looking forward to it.

I came in for a tattoo removal consultation with the option to do the treatment. Kimberly was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my questions. I used ice before the treatment and it was far quicker and easier than I expected (still painful but not as terrible as I’d imagined). The whole experience was professional and efficient and I’ll continue treatments there!

Delicious almost-fine-dining seafood experience. Definitely a cut above Red Lobster! The food is delicious – I highly recommend the sushi.

The wait staff are well-trained and I felt respected with every interaction. Also, the food came out reasonably fast, and that was on a busy day! Those cooks know how to work under pressure.

Why do I say it isn’t fine dining?
-There is a bar with sports playing on the TVs
-It’s more affordable than most fine dining experiences
-The plating showed effort on some dishes but was standard on others

But make no mistake, it’s a great place for a nice date or to bring your work friends! And I’m giving it 5 stars because it felt the prices were fair for the experience given.

I recommend the Maine Lobster, and the Creme Brulee dessert was delightful

I had an amazing time here! We ordered the Gemelli Pasta and the Lobster Roll. Both were delicious! Not to mention, we also got the shrimp and potato scallops for starters. And the mojito was very refreshing.

Our server was so kind and on top of it.

my server was the gentleman with a ponytail and he was amazing!!!!! He made wonderful strawberry lemon drops and his service was top notch. Everything we ate was delicious especially the firecracker shrimp!!!

Food and service was amazing. Delicious variety of food from seafood to steak or sushi and salads. Love the atmosphere and had reasonable prices. Loved the oysters that they so fresh and addictive. Thank you!

I was looking for best sushi rolls in Phoenix and found them! This beautiful restaurant had a sushi bar separate from the dinning room. This large room had tvs at either end in a bar-room style. The large size sushi rolls on the menu could be customized to be gluten free. The chefs understood my dietary restrictions and used fresh crabmeat. I was pleased to find GF beer available. I’m definitely returning to try the rest of the menu!

I’ve dined here many time. It’s always fresh and delicious! Service is always good. Great New England clam chowder. Great sourdough bread. Good sushi.

Full disclosure, tonight I had my first dish here that I didn’t care for, the Oysters Rockefeller. Typically a dish I love. Here the oysters were too briney and they had too much Parmesan cheese. Not bad but not my preference.

We had such an amazing time at Escape the Room, and a huge part of that was thanks to Chris! He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient with our group. Chris made the experience even more enjoyable by giving us just the right amount of hints when we needed them—no pressure, just support and good vibes. He kept the energy up and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. If you’re lucky enough to have Chris as your game master, you’re in for a fun and stress-free time. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing time at escape the room. We did the Jurassic themed room. Are game master Kai was amazing with subtle hints to get us through. This is our first time so we were completely unaware of how the process worked but Kai was amazing with helping us.

Very entertaining. Had a great time with the family trying to get all the clues together. Jasper was very helpful and also helped out by watching our little one who was too afraid to come into the room with us. Very highly recommend to give this place a try.

Out of all the escape rooms we’ve been to, this is the coolest. The Heist room looked the part, the puzzles were fun and unique. My whole family could participate, even our 8 yo. The game master was fun and made the experience so much better As we left, he told us about the Jurassic room and now we have to come back to do that one. If you haven’t tried this place, we highly recommend!

My granddaughter & I did the James Bond escape room (failed..LOL), but it was my first time doing this. Chris was fantastic to us, explaining everything and helping with clues (probably more than we should get….). It was fun despite not succeeding (but we were only one step away). We will definitely go back! Thanks, Chris!

SO MUCH FUN! The room was huge, with so many clues. This was my first escape room experience- I love puzzles and team games but I didn’t know what to expect. We did the “western bank heist” and it was so much fun!

Chris was super helpful with clues, and kept it fun even though we got stuck a few times!

We were 3 adults and it took us the whole hour, and we loved every minute of it. Highly recommend!

I brought my interns here for National Intern Day! and it was the perfect team building event. We did the The Dig, and let me tell you it was a challenge! We made it out with no time to spare lol, thanks to Chris who was a great host! Very welcoming and fun. Adding this to future team building events.

So I’ve done 2 rooms with my partner (both escape room fans), and we’ve had lots of fun with each!! We managed to finish baaaarely in the nick of time on the pirate one (very challenging!) and we had around 15 minutes to spare on the pipeworks one. Overall the pirate one felt a bit higher quality but both were very fun, and they have new experiences come periodically.

The staff are very polite, respectful, and clear, giving you what you need to take on the rooms. I was also pleasantly surprised that unlike some puzzle rooms that put you with strangers if you book the same slot, each booking here is a private booking, meaning only your party will play. So it’s good for a date!

My boyfriend and I came to Puzzle Effect for a fun date day and had a great time! We chose the Amnesia room and were really impressed. The staff was super friendly, got us checked in quickly, and explained the rules clearly. They gave us a heads-up about a directional lock (which we always ask about since they can be tricky), but reassured us that their version wasn’t overly complicated—and they were right.

We powered through the first room and unlocked all five puzzles in about 10 minutes. Once we entered the second room, the real challenge began. It definitely tested our teamwork and communication, but that’s what made it so fun. We managed to solve all but one of the remaining puzzles without using any hints, and we escaped with about two minutes left on the clock, not bad for one of their more difficult rooms!

Afterward, we took our victory photos and were given a discount code for our next visit. We’re already planning to come back for the Cursed Sea room. Highly recommend Puzzle Effect if you’re looking for a well-run, challenging, and fun escape room experience!

We had so much fun! Laughed the entire time! The escape room we were in was phenomenal and already want to go back to take on another one of the many escape rooms they have. I had no idea the puzzle effect escape rooms in Uptown Phoenix location had so many rooms.

I recently had an amazing time at Puzzle Effect, taking on two of their most challenging escape rooms: Amnesia and Emerald Seas. I can’t recommend this place enough!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was fantastic. Our game master, Justin, was exceptional! He guided us through both rooms, providing hints only when we truly needed them, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

With just four players, we managed to escape both rooms, and it was a blast! The puzzles were cleverly designed, and the immersive environments truly transported us into the scenarios.

I will definitely be returning for more adventures in the future. If you’re looking for a fun and challenging escape room experience, head to Puzzle Effect!

My husband and I had another great experience at Puzzle Effect. This was our second visit, and this time we did the Emerald Seas room…so much fun! The room is challenging, but if you stay focused it’s definitely achievable. The decor is great, and there are several fun, non-traditional puzzles. We have done dozens of escape rooms all over the world, and Puzzle Effect ranks really high for us. Plus, the staff are just great. Two thumbs up from us!

This is so much fun and was our second time going. My kids (17 & 13) had a great time! The rooms are well designed with their themes and the staff are all really friendly. Sam, our game master, was especially nice. She explained everything well and in a way that was fun for the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back again!

Heather was a fantastic game master. We had a wonderful experience as our 1st time playing the Puzzle Effect Rooms. We will definitely be coming back for another challenge.

I feel like this place is a pretty solid venue for something like a comedy show or low-key concerts. I would go here if the band that I was looking to hear was playing here, but it is not the venue I would pick for a rock show. I’m not a small person, but also not grossly overweight. The seats are pretty close together, and unless you consciously pull your arms in, you are definitely going to be sharing space with your neighbor. The seats are set up like a standard auditorium with steps. If anyone needs to enter or leave the row, you need to stand up to allow them to pass. My most recent seat was in the lower section right behind the walkway, so I had a little extra privacy and no one directly in front of me which was pretty optimal. The drinks, as anywhere, were significantly overpriced. Two white claws with tip came to around $35. I’ve seen a variety of shows here from comedy to instrumental to 90s rock, and I would say all experiences were decent with decent sound. They have a large screen on each side of the stage so you can get a good view pretty much anywhere. The staff is pretty active to make sure that people are not standing in common areas, which was nice. The chairs could go through a remodel at some point as they are not very comfortable, and some are getting a little old. Overall, I would go back if there was somebody I wanted to see, especially a comedian, but in general, for music, this would not be my go-to venue. Also, parking is kind of a nightmare so personally, I would either Uber, get dropped off, or take the light rail.

Nice venue for concerts and events. The building was clean, bathrooms in working order, and security throughout the building during the event tonight. There were a few hot dog vendors outside after 11pm. Floors were sticky around chairs, but considering how many people are swinging their arms around with drinks, I’m not surprised.

Arizona Financial Theatre. 5 stars. Caught the Goo Goo Dolls here and honestly, I was impressed start to finish. The whole venue has a good vibe the second you walk in. The seats were surprisingly comfortable, not the usual “hope your back doesn’t give out” kind of concert seating. The sound was dialed in perfectly. Every lyric, every guitar riff, crystal clear and not the blown-out speaker mess some places deliver. The lighting was on point too, not blinding, just right to set the tone.

Temperature inside was perfect. They somehow managed to keep it cool without turning it into a meat locker, which is a miracle in Phoenix. Parking was stupid expensive, but that’s downtown for you. At least it was easy to get in and out. Didn’t buy food or drinks because I’m not about that $14 pretzel life, but I saw plenty of people with beers and snacks, so they’ve got it covered if you’re feeling spendy.

Staff? Super friendly. Security was actually helpful instead of treating everyone like a problem. Bathrooms were shockingly clean too, which is rare at these kinds of places. Overall just a smooth, easy, great night. Would absolutely go back for another show.

Great venue for intimate concerts. Saw Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeshi- what a fantastic bunch of musicians! Easy access and arming near by.

We got the VIP experience for the Simple Plan concert. They kept us outside forever. It was just about 110 degrees outside. And there was no rush to get us inside. We had to wait for the VIP person to get there. Why wasn’t she there waiting for us. We were kept outside for up to 40 mins. I also don’t really recommend section 203 behind the sound station area. There was a couple standing in the sound area and the guys head blocked my view for the Bowling for Soup show. Im not even sure they worked there because I never saw them again. Then the lady with the bun kept blocking the rest of the shows. Yea we could’ve stood up, but then we block everyone behind us and we got seats because we wanted to sit. That area wasn’t really that worth the premium price of over $200 a ticket because of the workers standing right in the view. Especially the random couple that showed up and just stood there in the sound area for an hour. I do give 5 stars of allll the performers. Everyone put on a fantastic show. Idk if I’ll be back, and if I do it’ll be in the cheaper seats.

This is such a great venue. I’ve been to concerts and comedy shows here. You have a clear view of the stage in every seat! It is clean and well established and parking garage is near by!

Great place to see concerts. I always get my tickets on line, and my parking tickets at the same time. Garage is right across the street. Easy peazy. And Ziggy’s pizza and binball bar is only a couple blocks away.

Went to wrestling here, and they put on a good show, would highly recommend. They dont really cut people off of their drinking. One guy passed out and the ambulance came and got him.

I really like this bar. As someone that is not a “bar fly” so take that as it is. I feel safe inside, and there is a wide variety of clientele. The waitresses are always nice. I like the food truck options they host as well. Tho Rib guy is my fav.

I’ve brought dates here for pool and darts. Would recommend for a casual atmosphere.

I’m not a “regular” here, but I’ve always enjoyed this place when I come here.
They have many full-size and “quarter” sized tables, many Dart boards, karaoke, and even a smokers lounge, which to me is a huge plus.
Haven’t tried the food, though. Been here to watch fights too.
Everyone seems to be in a good mood. I’ve not seen any drama here.

Great open space. Dive bar feel perfect for pool. They host all types events after buying out the laser quest next door. Two hours of pool and about 4 drinks roughly 60

This place was cool. I’m told that it’s the largest pool room west of the Mississippi. Can’t call it but the place was pretty big. As expected, pool tables everywhere. Helpful staff. Music playing (which I can do without). Screens all over the place. Didn’t seem to attract a bad crowd. Patrons seemed orderly. Me and two of my Muslim brothers shot a few games of pool. Had a good clean time. The place also has video games and other skills games. I thought it was a nice little hangout.

I really enjoyed this place. They have a plethora of pool tables and cues available. To reserve the table for an hour whether 7’ or 9’ is $6. One game is $1.50. Drinks are reasonably priced. They do have tournaments happening in the afternoon for a couple hours. But I’d definitely check this place out.

Such an awesome place to watch a concert at! There’s a good level of security and the place is HUGE with a nice open stage. You can find somewhere to stand without feeling like someone is on top of you or pushing you. Security in the front rows gave out free water cups when I went, which is not an experience I’ve seen in other concert venues, but makes sense so you can feel hydrated through the Phoenix heat. Bathrooms are super clean and really nice and roomy too. There’s a good amount of AC in them too. Overall, love it.

We went to see Less Than Jake here a couple of weeks ago. This was my first time here and I had an absolutely amazing night! Parking is a PITA, but that’s downtown Phoenix for you. Expect to deal with annoying garages and a good amount of walking. Otherwise, this is an all around AWESOME place for live shows. It’s super easy to get right up front and see your favorite artists up close. The sound was on point, the room was nice and well ventilated, and there is a ton of space to do your thing and jam out. Definitely will be going back for future shows!!!

Have seen several shows here. Acoustics are good. Two bars downstairs. I recommend getting the mezzanine seats off you can. Great view, no crowding, seat service, etc.

Great venue to see a fantastic Band! The Pixies have been on my bucket list for decades and last night it finally happened! The Van Buren was a perfect host with easy downtime access. Parking is available nearby. I recommend reserving a spot ahead of time.

I’ve gone to a good amount of shows at the Van Buren and it’s always been a great experience especially with their sound! Although some security upon entry kind of are doing a little too much – I get it, it’s their own precautions for everyones safety. I’ve never had any issues. Staff is great – Bartenders are friendly! The Van Buren is like a bigger and better version of what the Marquee is. Parking is a hassle but of course it’s Phoenix.

I have been to the Van Buren for many shows over the years, but on May 23, 2025 they really outshined themselves! One grievance, of course, is the lack of nearby parking. I typically avoid this by getting there early, but had to work later than expected on this evening. I brought my mom who needed to enjoy the show from a wheelchair. I dropped her at the venue with a friend while I hunted for parking. When I returned, the line was quite long but the staff let us go through security without an additional wait. Once in the door two separate employees came to help guide as I rolled my mom to a fantastic, gated-off section to audience-right of the stage. It was a great, unobstructed view for her and I was able to stand nearby in the event she needed anything. Everyone working was so gracious and helpful. Navigating big events with someone with severely limited mobility is incredibly stressful but everyone at the Van Buren was truly the rock star that night.

About half the size of Brooklyn Steel with back bar and balcony overlooking industrial floor. Walkable from down town arenas. Audio and lights were high fidelity for Bohmer set. In case you wanted to hang out before a show, brewery and cocktail bar across the street. Also, located on entrance side is pizza (serves very late) and arcade. Unfortunately, you can’t reenter.

Danielle Was an absolutely amazing injector. Not only did she have a great energy and was beyond knowledgeable about the products and explaining the process, but I am beyond thrilled with my results. My lips look amazing exactly what I pictured in my head. I have received several compliments from friends. We have a plan for the next time which I really love. The entire staff from front desk to the medical assistant, are warm, friendly, and inviting. I highly recommend Danielle and suddenly slim Med Spa. I will be flying in to see them again!

Cool sculpting is a waste of money! Wasted $2600 for two sessions on my double chin which really wasn’t that bad. After the treatment there is no difference at all and the only option given to me was to get another session just to keep wasting my money. Sahara was very sweet but please do your research first. Don’t waste your money.

Danielli is the top in her class. I have been going to Suddenly Slimmer for about 5 years now. After relocating from The Bay Area, I was super skeptical about who I could entrust one of my most important attributes to, my face….and to this day, she is the only one I trust. I have been treated in Beverly Hills & The Bay, and have never been impressed. She delivers the highest quality not only in care, but professional service. The fact she actually loves what she does and has a passion for it – is just an added bonus. I would list all the treatments I have had, however, I don’t know all of them. That’s not my specialty, that’s hers. I am adding a photo, I am 52, and prefer only the most le natural look. If you are looking for someone that cares about you, and your looks passionately, you have found the woman of your dreams.

The team at suddenly slimmer med spa are incredibly inviting, skilled, and so very talented! Danielli is truly an artist and has a wonderful way of making you feel at ease and does a fantastic job explaining facial structure to help you achieve whatever you are looking for. Danielli has been my nurse injector for over 3 years doing facial balancing with filler as well as Botox and every single time I leave so very pleased with my results. She is so knowledgeable and always explains in detail what she’s doing, and answers any questions with kindness and knowledgeable explanations which makes for a smoother more enjoyable experience. If you want phenomenal results with a comfortable, clean, welcoming atmosphere I would highly recommend Suddenly Slimmer Med Spa!

I’ve made them my primary medspa and have dealt with the wrath of the devil since. They eat your money and don’t care about your goals. I’ve spent well over 4.5k on services $3600 on cool sculpting & every time I go in for a service, they say they’ll follow up with you so that your treatment plan is being met, and don’t. I wouldn’t still be visiting them if I didn’t already invest so much. I have one more appt to make to use up my voucher that I obtained because they rang me up wrong almost eating $800 and not saying anything about it until I caught the mishap. Then I am looking to go elsewhere. Jana is great but she has a very lousy staff & I’m at a point of asking for my money back even if it means hiring a lawyer. Terrible business. As far as cool sculpting goes, Sahara is awesome but make sure you’re properly consulted. They want me to go in for another session when I was quoted specifically for 2. Now they want more money for a 3rd session so that I meet my goals. Total scam.

Danielli is so talented and a master at the art of injections. I received Xeomin and she is educated about all the different products available. I always feel so confident in her expertise and professionalism. She really takes the time necessary to prepare and consult with you beforehand in order to get the best results for what type of look you want. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable also!

I have been coming here for several years and the customer service is amazing . I see Saharra for all my skin care needs. She does an amazing job is knowledgeable and truly cares. My skin has seen a huge transformation over the last few years !

Very good chill place during the week (Tuesday) with cheaper cocktails and good music. During the weekend it is hit or miss, but definitely packs up!! Makes it harder to play the games, but a great place overall!

Lots of fun! The drinks were amazing, staff were very attentive. DJ’s and lots of dancing. Only issue is that some machines were basically not usable because of the crowd but no fault to the bar simply people enjoying themselves. Would recommend and will return

cobra is a great bar! the vibes are super awesome and it’s a great spot with good prices. recently they’ve gotten rid of a lot of their arcade cabinets which is a huge bummer. the place used to be filled with games, now it’s just a couple machines in the back. it’s kind of lost its charm to me because of this, but it’s still a good place to hang!

This place was packed on a Wednesday night. Diverse crowd and fun atmosphere – if you like arcade games and loud music. Drink prices were decent, and the service was good. Security was pretty tight. I’m guessing it can get rowdy. When I was there, the crowd was great. There were people from college to people who came after a convention.

It is always packed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. If you arrive past 11 be prepared to stand in line. Usually about 20 minutes or so ,it’s not too bad. Definitely worth it. They have a bar a dance floor with a dj and they have a bunch of arcade games in the back.

awesome place downtown for your arcade and drink fix, really crowded most days but this is the spot if you are looking for a gamer themed bar downtown! I’d recommend to come early… food trucks out front are bomb!
