Tried the new member pass for this studio because I was interested in their “Exhale” class which is a blend of restorative and yin yoga. I was so impressed with the first class I took and Zuzana was such a great, calming teacher. I left the class feeling so relaxed and restored and it was probably the best restorative yoga class I’ve taken! I took a few more with my 30 day pass and each time it was great. I love how this studio has several locations including some outdoor yoga classes and even aqua yoga now, which I may have to check out. But 10/10 for the experience and I’m sure all their classes are as good as the one I took!

I attended Metta Yoga for a handstand workshop, taught by Carmen Aguilar. I can’t speak to their usual classes, but the workshop was fantastic. The studio was very bright and airy, with nice, high ceilings, big mirrors, and plenty of light. The one thing I would mention is to make sure you bring water with you. They had some bottles for sale, but there wasn’t a fountain to fill up my water bottle. Not an issue, but good to know if you are going to class 🙂

I had a plane cancellation and was overnight unexpectedly in Phoenix. I stayed at a hotel next to the airport and walked to Metta (40 min each way). What an unexpected pleasure to have such a great yoga class. Lorilee Is a well trained yoga instructor who teaches a variety of styles. We did some chanting to start and ended with a beautiful sound bath. The class was rigorous but slow flow with great cues. It is a lovely studio space as well. I was able to borrow a mat.

I’ve never really been a workout girly and always haaated the gym but forced myself to go anyway. I was having brunch across the street one day and saw a bunch of people walking with yoga mats in this direction and decided to check it out. Signed up for the 2 week intro and now I’m hooked. While it’s a little more pricey than the gym, I think it’s worth every penny. So clean, welcoming and convenient. The classes are all different enough to keep it interesting but consistent enough to keep pushing you. Everyone from the instructors to the patrons are all so nice. I look forward to coming here for barre 3 times a week. It’s nice that they offer spin and yoga into the membership as well so you get more variety for your money. So happy to have stumbled upon sweatshop! Thanks for getting me excited to workout.

I love this place! I’ve been taking classes here for as least 6 months and it has drastically improved my everyday mood. The instructors are so nice and I love having three different forms of exercise to choose from. The yoga instructors are all wonderful . I’m not great at yoga but I feel like I keep up with the flow of their classes. Monique is an amazing spin instructor and her energy is infectious.Lisa’s Monday Barre class is fun and challenging. Really all the instructors are great!

They have the perfect classes for my inexperienced body. I can’t wait to work up to some of the more intense sessions in the future. The monthly membership is affordable and was a great gift for my daughter who is a new mom and in need of quality self care time. The instructors all have their own style but each has been helpful and kind.

Yoga box in Arcadia is truly the best! I have been loving their 60 minute sculpt classes because they offer a challenging workout that always leaves you feeling satisfied. All the instructors are super friendly and the studio has a great environment overall. The music and LED lights inside also make the workouts fun and motivating. I’ve been going to YogaBox for two years now, and it’s been an incredible journey. Carly, the manager and instructor, is truly amazing. Her candlelit flow classes on Fridays are an absolute must—such a perfect way to end the week.
I also love Kris’s flow on Wednesday nights; his stories add a special touch to the practice. Hailie and Ryan are fantastic instructors as well, each bringing their unique style and energy to their classes. If you’re looking for high-energy sessions, check out Britney and Jenn—they are both phenomenal!
The studio is always clean, and while it’s not as hot as other studios, you’ll definitely work up a sweat. The flows and structure are intentional, and the lighting adds a cool ambiance.
The entire YogaBox family is very inclusive and welcoming. They’re soon opening a studio in Central Phoenix, but I love the Arcadia and North Scottsdale locations. Highly recommend YogaBox for anyone looking to enhance their yoga practice.

Took my 1st class this morning with Tori and what an amazing 1st experience. She welcomed me with the happiest energy (even at 5:45 am) she gave me the run down of class and where everything was in the studio which I very much appreciated! Everything was so clean and well kept! The class was so much fun and Tori went through each exercise & move in depth to make everyone feel comfortable and know what they were doing and even gave modifications for people who couldn’t. She gave us plenty of time at the end to rest and get our things together which I loved because at other yoga places I always feel rushed. I also LOVED that there were markers for where to put your mats so it could never get over packed like some places. It’s those little things that make this place amazing! Thanks for an awesome experience! Will be back soon!

I started off with the introductory first 3 classes free, and I’m so glad that I did because now I’m a proud member! All the instructors are kind, wonderful and knowledgeable. I’ve been taking the yoga sculpt class and a restorative class as well. I’m in love with the yoga sculpt classes and the additional classes you can choose from. The yoga sculpt class is high energy and challenging, I enjoy the atmosphere and the setting of the class. The music is upbeat and empowering – encourages me throughout the workout and the lights are awesome! In the end of the day it’s choice to be there or not – then to decide if you want to commit to the yoga box and like I said before I’m a proud member. Love the variety that Yoga Sculpt offers! Even though the class description usually targets, one muscle group, I usually get a good full body workout mixed with some cardio. It is warm in the room, but not extremely hot like other studios I have been to. Each instructor has a slightly different style, but I always get an amazing workout and leave feeling stronger than when I went in there.

I have been coming to this studio for over a month and have loved all the classes and the instructors. The full body sculpt class today was great! I really felt like I got a challenging but rewarding workout. I like when the instructors modify my form and hype me/ppl up nonchalantly throughout class, although the instructor, Brittany, called out a few of the participants that was in a non-friendly or encouraging way. The call outs came off as condescending which impacted the overall vibe and experience. I will happily return to this studio but I will not be taking another class with Brittany W.

I joined the Foundry Yoga since 2014, when I moved to Scottsdale. I love all the classes offered at the studio. A spiritual gem in the desert. After attending 70 classes at different studios since August, I can say with complete certainty that nothing has come close to the experience I had a Buddha Bella in Phoenix. I’ve been going to Cortney’s yoga classes—Hot Classic Flow, Hot Vinyasa Flow, and Warm Gentle Flow—and they’ve quickly become a favorite part of my weekly routine. At first, I wasn’t used to the heat, but now I look forward to it. The Warm Gentle Flow is perfect for deep stretching after spin or lifting, and offers such a soothing, restorative balance. Her Hot Classic and Vinyasa classes push me to the edge of my breath—in the best way—and always leave me feeling strong, centered, and clear.
What truly sets Cortney apart is the way she speaks about the breath. Something about the way she puts it into words finally made it click for me. It’s helped me connect more deeply to my body and find calm even in the most challenging moments. Her energy, presence, and guidance create a space that’s both empowering and grounding. I had the worse experience here and not to mention the Yoga instructor Lauren did NOT set the tone for a 7am class. She should take a class to know the value of being a True YOGI. I am beyond disappointed i used my classpass points for a class i felt so unwelcomed to. The class was beyond hot everyone was walking out as they also over book. I am sharing how horrible this place was with my friends. 0 stars

As an experienced Yoga student it was beyond hot in here, ive done Hour and a half classes at KARMA , Black Swan, The Foundry, Yoga box and the class I did here I only lasted half way. Would not recommend as the instructor also did not meet the expectations as an instructor. Everyone was cramped up inside the class like a can of sardines.

Did not attend a class here, just made a clothing purchase for a last minute hike. The owner took pictures of my credit card and driver license without my consent. When I asked why she took the picture, she explained that it’s so she could prove I made the purchase if I happened to dispute the charges. I felt very uncomfortable during this interaction and had she communicated in advance that she needed to take a picture for “proof,” I would’ve simply paid with cash to avoid my personal information being collected. I didn’t appreciate the lack of professionalism.

The instructors here are so kind and welcoming. The classes are always consistent, and I know I can count on a great experience every time. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a supportive and reliable yoga practice. I’ve only been coming here for about four months, and I usually go every other Tuesday using ClassPass since that’s what works best for me right now. I like trying out different places, but this place has truly become one of my favorites. The environment is always so peaceful, and everyone from the staff to the instructors is so kind and supportive.
I take Todd’s class every other Tuesday, and today I just felt the need to write this. I hate being late to anything, and I was running behind, I showed up literally two minutes before class started. I was already feeling rushed, anxious, and nervous about not getting a good spot in the room. But as soon as I checked in, both Todd and the front desk staff greeted me with such warmth. Their energy instantly made me feel better. Then I walked into the room… and Todd had saved a spot for me. That small gesture meant so much after a long day. His class, as always, was grounding, thoughtful, and exactly what I needed. It helped me let go of everything I was holding onto. Todd has this way of creating space not just physically but emotionally too-like he sees you, meets you where you’re at, and helps you come back to yourself. Little moments of kindness like that stick with you. I left class feeling lighter, grounded, and just genuinely grateful. This place is special, and I’m so happy I found it.

I’ve been a member of The Foundry now for over two years. The first class I took was the Candlelit Basic Yoga on Monday evenings at 7pm with Livi. It was a nice introduction to hot yoga and has become of my regular practice over the past two years. It is a good way to start the work week. Over time I explored more of the classes offered at the Foundry including Yin Yoga, 26&2, Vinyasa Flow, and Pilates. All of the instructors are keen on teaching their students and making sure you’re not only learning the poses but also the benefits behind them. Each teacher brings a unique perspective that I truly appreciate and this review would be incomplete if I didn’t mention my awesome teachers Cintra, Heather, Lindsey, Livi, Tara, and Todd among many others. I highly recommend taking the first step and getting started. Joining the community at The Foundry has helped change my life and I am grateful to be a part of it!

I’ve been attending classes at The Foundry – Arcadia for nearly a year. I am very grateful that I’ve found this studio!
You’re always greeted with a smile, and I’ve found the community of fellow students to be very friendly. The studios, bathroom, and lockers are clean. I love the water bottle filling station they have. Their app is user friendly and makes scheduling a breeze!
You will find a wide range of ages and experience levels in the classes. I primarily attend Hot Flow classes and I adore all of the teachers. The teachers have a great balance of encouraging you to challenge yourself while also supporting rest and doing what’s best for you. They are great with cues and form correction.
I look forward to continuing my journey at The Foundry and will continue to bring every friend I can!

It feels like a family. I almost don’t want people to know about how good it is… But real talk, this place is the best. Elevate Yoga & Wellness made my birthday unforgettable! I booked a 1-hour private aerial yoga party for 10 ladies, and it was an incredible experience. The experience is always great at Elevate Yoga & Wellness. The environment is incredibly welcoming and open, and there are no worries of judgment being newer to the studio and/or general yoga. I enjoy the unique approach that instructors incorporate in their practice and the variety of each class.
I also appreciate multiple difficulty levels being demonstrated so that participants can increase the intensity if they want more of a challenge or choose lower-impact options.

I have been a member with Elevate for a little under 2 years, and can say this has been one of the best decisions of my life. I never practiced mat yoga, let alone aerial yoga, before coming here, and was very intimidated when I first signed up. From day one, the teachers, owners, and other members have been so welcoming and supportive, and tailor each experience to your own level. I leave each class feeling rejuvenated and accomplished. I started out loving this studio unequivocally. I still think it’s a great place. (Heads up: The photos on Google reflect a prior location. They are presently located within Urban Wellness Healing Center which you can check out for more current images.) You cannot lose with the $11 noon classes to check it out if your schedule allows it. Most of the instructors there are amazing and skilled at creating a wonderful experience that literally teaches you mindfulness and presence- experientially. I have anxiety at times and practicing yoga makes me feel light and amazing. I recommend Emily’s classes (So good!), Didi’s, Amy’s and Madeline’s. Seriously, everyone should do yoga. And I know of no substitute for the experience of a dedicated practice spot like Urban Yoga. For now, I have stopped practicing here due to distractions from this mindful movement reset that the studio has been unable to manage in my opinion, particularly distracting behaviors of other students that were happening in most of the classes I attended. I’m willing to accept that it’s a “me” issue. Nonetheless, if I had to do it over again, I would avoid purchasing a membership at this studio and package class it.

I really enjoy this studio in central Phoenix. They offer a good variety of classes. Didi in particular is a great instructor with creative flows that really drop you in to your body. They offer classes in Spanish and legitimate, slow yin classes. Love the space and the people that go as well, very down to earth. Reasonable pricing for class packs and membership as well.

I was visiting Phoenix from Chicago and am very happy I found this studio. It’s a very nice spot with a chill vibe. All the classes I took had a similar feel but were done very well. They offer a great 2 week intro package if you’re new or just visiting Phoenix. Also, the studio is close to downtown and has easy access to the 10 freeway

Urban yoga is my favorite studio in Phoenix. It is a simple studio in downtown. It has unique offerings, experienced teachers, and an excellent community. I also love that they are NOT heated studio (which is surprisingly uncommon in Phoenix). I recommend this studio to all of my friends! And now recommend it to all of google too!

Urban Yoga is a fantastic studio located just north of downtown Phoenix, offering a peaceful retreat suited for both beginners and advanced yogis. I’ve attended about 10 sessions over the last several months, and have found the range of classes—from relaxing to intense—perfectly tailored to enhance personal growth and relaxation.The instructors are generally knowledgeable and create a welcoming environment. However, I was a bit taken aback when I overheard one instructor making disparaging remarks about students appearing new to yoga, suggesting they’d be doing a lot of back poses. It felt somewhat judgmental and out of place in such an inclusive setting.Despite this, the studio offers flexible pricing with drop-in rates and bundled mat passes, making it accessible for all schedules and budgets. I still recommend Urban Yoga for anyone in the Phoenix area looking to explore or deepen their yoga practice, as the overall experience and benefits have been truly enriching.
