My husband and I went this weekend and attended McKinseys class. It was the perfect amount of hard but the instructor explained it perfectly so we got to just concentrate on our form. Will definitely be going back!

Tricore is amazing. Been going here for years and I never get bored. I recently had a baby and Brooke did private training sessions with me all throughout my pregnancy which helped me so much with my birth and postpartum. That combined with their endurance and Fire classes that they can give modifications for made it so I was able to take a hike the day I gave birth! All the instructors are great, and you never get the same workout twice. It’s fantastic. You should definitely give it a try.

TriCore is truly AMAZING! The community is incredibly welcoming, and the instructors know how to push you. I’ve taken around 30 classes, and after each one, I find myself saying, “that was my favorite class yet.” The class variety is great too, there is always something new to try, which keeps things exciting and fun.

After years of searching for the perfect fitness routine, I finally found my sanctuary at Simply Pilates. I wanted to give myself some time before writing this review to fully experience the classes and teachers, and I have to say, joining this gym was the best decision I’ve made for myself. The gym is clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and they offer a variety of classes. My review focuses on Simply Pilates because that’s what I primarily do there.
I love attending my morning classes. Each class features different teachers, each with their unique techniques and styles. This variety ensures that you’re getting a full-body workout throughout the week, and it’s always different. I thoroughly enjoy McKinsey’s and Steve’s classes, they are probably my two favorite Pilates instructors. McKinsey’s classes on Fridays really whoop your butt, and Steve’s classes on Wednesdays are just as challenging. He interacts with us by providing clear instructions and enthusiastic encouragement, making the workout both challenging and fun. McKinsey is such a ball of sunshine and happiness, and her playlists always crack me up. Steve always has something to say about her playlist, and their playful banter is cute and adds a light-hearted touch to the class. All of the staff at TriCore are great!!
The women / men who attend are of different shapes, sizes, ages, and levels of Pilates skills. It’s nice because you walk in feeling motivated to work out and leave feeling confident, with a calm mind and a nice little sweat. I enjoy challenging myself with some of the more advanced Pilates participants in the class, which pushes me to do better at each class.
I appreciate that it’s not cliquish, everyone is there to do exactly what we want to do, which is Pilates. You start to see the results in your body. If you’re hesitant about joining a club, don’t be with this one. There are many mainstream Pilates clubs, but this one is like finding a needle in a haystack. You can tailor your classes to your needs, which is great.

I’ve been to 2 classes and have really enjoyed them both. It’s like having your own personal trainer. The pilates class is a great workout not too strenuous and the trainer made me feel very comfortable. Today I did the fire class, which was constant activity and weights, pretty intense. The good thing is that you go at your own pace and just do what you can do. The trainers are great I was just happy that the second half of that class was pilates

Cute spot! The classes are great, and their studio is beautiful. I’ve taken multiple classes and each of the instructors have really good cues to get me through the exercises. If you’re looking to round out your fitness routine, or find something challenging while being gentle to your body…Pilates is the way to go! Studio Verve stays true to the practice, and I love how passionate they are in helping their clients make the most of their time in class. It’s located in a cute remodeled residential-looking building, which can be a little tough to find at first, but still easy to get to.

This studio is small but that is what I love about it, they definitely take care of each of their clients and personalize each experience. They were right about having options for their class and offer different styles each time you take a class, I have been going for a month and can say you won’t take the same class twice, they always do something different with each teacher and each class and it is something I enjoy a lot. I started as a beginner with zero experience and say this has definitely been a good experience to introduce my self to Pilates. Everyone is kind and they even gave me a gift for beginning my journey with them. It is worth the money and cannot wait to take my next class, it is something I look forward to every week. It is a little hidden but just park in the back and there is usually an open gate and I believe one in the front as well.

Great class! Until recently most of my experience was with reformer Pilates, which I love, but Studio Verve is really getting me hooked on Tower too. In this class Melissa guided us through fun but challenging moves that activated those hard-to-find muscles while mixing in the best deep stretches that left me feeling so energized to start my Sunday morning!

The best pilates studio I’ve been to! I leave every class feeling stronger and learning more about traditional pilates! You can tell that there is A+ education, years of experience and a passion for teaching pilates with every instructor, especially Melissa and Lauren! Additionally, I have scoliosis and felt immediately safe and in good hands in every private session and group classes – the modifications, personalized exercises and attention to detail exceeded my expectations! New to Lagree and have loved Burn studio so far! It’s a great way to recover from running 70-80 miles per MONTH*! I have seen improvement on my core strength and mobility since starting; it has made me a better runner. The instructors are all amazing and helpful, give feedback and the playlist is always great. After my favorite local barre studio closed, I began searching for an alternative and decided to try BURN. I’ve done pilates in the past and even owned a reformer years ago, but wasn’t sure if I’d like Lagree. I’m in the middle of my 2-week trial and can now say “I get it.”
This workout is LEGIT. I love that I get the muscle-shaking I craved from barre but Lagree takes it to another level.
What I love:
–the slow intensity and deep focus required on each movement (helps clear my mind while amping up results)
–efficient 45 minute class
–variety of exercises: each workout is different and we don’t have to suffer through the same rote, choreographed warm-up and stretching routine every time like some barre classes. I prefer stretching on my own.
–studio is clean and bright with beautiful natural light
–plenty of air circulation and overhead fans during class
–ample class times for scheduling
I’m already feeling stronger and more fit I and leave each class with a clearer mind and quivering muscles. Thanks BURN!

The best most amazing workout for the late 50’s woman. I’ve never been stronger in my entire life!! I’ve never been able to move better in everyday life (eg. bending down and turning around to pick up a fallen pen)!! Consistency is the key and I just reached 700 classes. I often visit family in Phoenix and drop-in to classes, and I feel like I haven’t missed a beat whenever I visit. The staff is always friendly and kind. The space is clean and the reformers well kept. The classes are challenging with modification recommendations, if needed. Overall, just quality value and a great workout experience.

Lagree is the best workout I have ever done for both strength and overall fitness. The instructors at Burn design the workouts to be challenging for even the highest fitness level, but also explain how to modify each exercise to accommodate anyone with less fitness experience. Your body will be worked harder than you thought possible in just 45 minutes. Plus, the high intensity/low impact approach gets noticeable results without the injury risk other forms of strength exercise have. If you are thinking about trying Lagree at Burn, definitely do it.

This is such a fantastic Pilates studio – they truly have it all, from springboard to TRX to reformer you’ll never get bored taking a class here.
I’ve done a LOT of different Pilates classes at many different studios (used to live in LA, and Pilates is like Starbucks there, one on every corner lol!) and this is the most well equipped studio I have ever been to. This is real deal Pilates and it’s very affordable when you do a monthly package.
It’s extremely clean, the instructors are very knowledgeable, (especially Hope), and the staff is so lovely and accommodating. The clientele I have met are also very nice, normal, people of all ages (men and women!) shapes and sizes. You can definitely feel comfortable coming here as a beginner, or an experienced Pilates person and know that you will have a place here. The classes are ranked, which is really nice, so you can have an easier class or a harder class depending on your experience.
The only negative I can think of is that sometimes there’s a very long waitlist for certain classes. But my experience has been that I will almost always get in to a class if I just get on the waitlist.

I have been a member of CP Central Phoenix for 2+ years, and my experience has been universally positive. I have been impressed by the quality & variety of instructors, focus on fundamentals, excellent cueing and postural corrections I’ve been offered when needed.
The instructors are well trained and offer options for different springs, etc. to students who need modifications (based on height or fitness level for me). The front desk staff are polite, well-informed, helpful and consistently friendly.
I’ve recently been going through an extended period of unemployment, and I have prioritized the expense of my membership for the entire time. I plan to continue as a member for as long as I’m physically able.

A friend said she likes exercising where she has the freedom to follow whatever trail beckons. I like exercising where somebody tells me what to do and counts it down and shows when I need to rearrange what I’m doing. So Pilates is perfect — and Club Pilates is amazing!
Every one of the instructors. As well as the front desk staff, is supportive and encouraging. I like the option of getting unlimited classes for $199 a month; it keeps me going to make sure I get my money’s worth and after four months I have better posture, more strength and more pride in knowing I can DO this! If you like structure, this is a wonderful way to exercise.

Love, love, love Orange Blossom Pilates. This is a special place. Great workouts and connections, in a friendly and inclusive space — many different bodies, identities, and fitness levels across the classes. I’ve appreciated getting stronger and more confident in my body’s abilities. Karen, the owner, is a breath of fresh air and a truly gifted community-builder, and I also love classes with Jade and Kalie. I can’t imagine a better place in Phoenix for Pilates.
Tip: Once you’ve got reformer under your belt, try the chair class!! It’s amazing!

I love OBP so much!! If there was a way to give 6 stars, I would! When I was a newbie to Pilates and a bit intimidated, I was able to book a free tour of the studio with the owner, Karen, who put my mind at ease. It is a small studio with just four machines, which means that everything feels personal. The instructors are SO nice, and it is the first time I have ever been excited to go work out. It is super inclusive and everyone that goes is really nice. They also have lovely gatherings for the community, like coffee walks and potlucks, which is a really nice touch. OBP is more like a community than a gym, and that is really wonderful. Plus, I am getting an awesome workout on the Reformer!

2 years ago I was struggling to find a workout that worked for me after having broken my toe and rolling my ankles. I started researching low impact workouts that would allow my body to get the exercise I needed to deal with stress and pain. After narrowing it down I found Orange Blossom near me and scheduled a class to see how I would like it. I had heard of Pilates before and was intimidated by the thought of it especially after being passive for so long, but I decided to join in anyways. After showing up to class we were welcomed not only to a new exciting workout, but to a community of welcoming positivity. I found the support I needed to help not only my body, but my mind heal from a dark space it was in.
Over the last 2 years I began feeling muscle growth and pain reduction as I gained the strength my body needed to provide stability to aid in my posture. My weak ankles have been able to support me much more after the months of strengthening and I have been able to avoid additional injuries with my new found balance.
2 years later and I am still an active member in the space and welcome others to join in this space as well :).

The instructions are very upbeat and friendly. I recently did multiple trial runs at other studios and liked this one the best. They have lots of energy which the others did not. This is such a wonderful business. I’ve been attending classes for years at the other locations, and I love the Arcadia space. The space is beautiful with plenty of cream colors throughout. Hot Pilates is such a fun, different workout, and the reformer room is flooded with natural light and a gorgeous space where you can exercise. Lae is such a nice teacher whose classes are always different and challenging. Sabrina is also a very creative teacher whose classes are fun and challenging. If you’re looking for a Pilates studio, consider this one for sure!

I love the workshop! I was burnt out of the gym and decided to join a Pilates studio. I tried a few other studios before and signed up for an unlimited auto-renewal membership immediately following my first class at the Workshop. I drive 25 min to get here and I’ll never stop because I’ve seen AMAZING muscle growth since coming here, and my lower back and knee pain is completely gone. All of the instructors are sweet, helpful, welcoming, and play awesome music! It’s such a clean studio with a motivating vibe to it. The heated classes are intense, but so fun and you will leave feeling like a brand new person with so much energy. I love the variety of classes the Workshop offers and coming here is the highlight of my day!!

I have been going to this studio since they first opened and they have made me fall back in love with Pilates. The instructors are patient and very knowledgeable. Sometimes I struggle with movements and they never make me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed and will offer a modification that works for me. I’ve taken at least one class from almost every instructor at the studio. Each instructor offers a different style of teaching, but you’re guaranteed to get a great workout no matter who you take a class with. If you’re looking for a studio that is welcoming, diverse, aesthetic and offers easy to follow classes, this is the place to go!

I cannot say enough good things about Pilates Phoenix. When I started ~50 classes ago, I was a total beginner—like, barely-touched-a-reformer-before beginner. Now, I feel confident walking into class, I’ve seen major changes in my body, and I actually feel the difference in how I move, carry myself, and recover from other workouts.
The studio itself is absolutely beautiful—clean, calming, and super welcoming. I have been working one to one with Dakota for the past few months and I can say unequivocally that she is a stellar instructor, practitioner and human being. I have a very challenging health case and she has found ways to work with me despite my limitations that are so intuitive in nature and specifically customized to my condition. I absolutely LOVE Reformer Pilates and the variety of teachers available! The classes run so smoothly and feel incredibly welcoming, especially as a new member. Back in 2018, I took my first class at Reformed Pilates after being invited to try it by a good friend of mine who was also an instructor. That first class was so tough but I made it through and have been coming every week since then. I love the workouts. They are thorough but do not weigh me down the rest of the day like gym workouts do. I always leave feeling spry and energetic for the rest of the day. I absolutely love coming here!!!! I have been a member off and on since 2018. They are always consistent, great reformers, clean studios, and they have some fun challenges with cute prizes.
I am pretty picky on the movements, music, and overall personality and instruction of the instructor and their performance.
I also have some restrictions from a wrist surgery in previous years so I was a bit nervous to start back up.
Christina G. from Corporate is one of the most extraordinary humans! Not only did she encourage me that I can get back to Pilates, but she makes you feel confident that you’re in good hands. She guided me on the best way to enter back in safely and successfully. I struggled for many years after my surgery and Christina goes above and beyond to help you feel confident and ready to begin Pilates without pressure. If it wasn’t for her, I would probably still have back and knee pains. Pilates helps get your body healthy at a pace you’re comfortable with.
Considering my previous injuries from surgery, they are really wonderful about providing modifications for you.

I joined Reformed Pilates at the 7th street studio in Phoenix nearly a month ago, enticed by a captivating week-long promotion, and I’ve been quite pleased with the classes as I go daily. It’s been seven years since I last set foot in a gym, especially since my children were born. Considering the myriad of fitness options available, such as big box gyms, CrossFit, yoga, spin and more, I found Pilates to be an excellent reintroduction to my fitness journey.
When comparing different studios, what stood out to me the most was how effortlessly the website provided information, including costs and class timings. The membership details were clear and transparent. In a neighborhood with numerous options, this studio was the only one offering 5 AM classes. Moreover, the membership allows access to classes at any of their other 10 locations in the valley. Upon returning to a fitness studio after a prolonged period, I did notice that the cost of classes/membership was somewhat surprising across all the studios in the neighborhood, including this one. However, for someone like me who attends class daily, the most cost-effective option is the unlimited package, and I found that Reformed Pilates offered the most competitive pricing in this regard.
Primarily attending the morning classes, I’ve found the two alternating instructors, McKenzie and Madison, to be fantastic and encouraging. Their tone on the mic and choice of music at 5 AM are just right to kickstart the day. The workouts are dynamic and challenging yet allow you to progress at your own comfortable pace. Another aspect I appreciate about Reformed classes is their exclusive focus on only Pilates. These sessions incorporate a variety of equipment, such as the resistance circle ring, bands, exercise ball, weights, jump board, reformer box, and more. For me, opting for daily classes ensures a diverse and engaging experience, preventing any chance of boredom. Interestingly, there’s no clock on the wall, but the class keeps me so engaged that it becomes the quickest 50 minutes of my day!
The studio’s clean aesthetics and the practical placement of carriages are aspects I love. Even with a full class of 15, it never feels overcrowded. The user-friendly app facilitates easy navigation, allowing scheduling/cancellation of classes and check-in upon arrival. The studio features a single floor-to-ceiling mirrored wall. While I desire additional mirrors on other walls or the ceiling to assist in observing form and function during exercises, I understand that incorporating more mirrors might create a visually overwhelming mirrored funhouse effect. There is a restroom facility and water station however in my personal opinion the only drawback is the absence of lockers at this location. I wish the corporate team would consider installing wall hooks for jackets. Despite the clean studio floors, placing my jacket on the floor has occasionally resulted in dust bunnies or hair clinging to it after class. While recognizing this as a class-based studio, I also wish there was an option for an open class session during the day to utilize the facility. Overall, the studio, the workout sessions, and the instructors surpass expectations, making it a place I thoroughly enjoy coming to.

I have joined the YMCA as a member to help better my health. As a woman of age, I need a place that has classes that work for me getting back into fitness. I feel very comfortable there and they have a fantastic gym!
My grandchild attends the pre-school program, and she is so happy, and so are we as her family!
The level of instruction she receives give me a Montessori-vibe. Empowering little ones to thrive!

Came and made a payment yesterday, when I returned the next day I was told my account wasn’t active and that the payment I made was for last year cancellation for September 2022. I was told by supervisor Angelica there was nothing they could do but submit a ticket to refund my money. I came in today to make another payment to reactivate my account. I was told I would pay $21 a month because the pricing has gone up. After my workout I was stopped in told because I recently had a birthday that I would need to pay $41 a month. I told them to close my account, my whole point of choosing the YMCA was because low cost. Now I have a Planet Fitness PF black account for $24 a month. Customer service here is very poor and the girl who I spoke to seemed to have an attitude.

Do not bring your kids here. I am absolutely appalled at the level of negligence and incompetence with this organization. Extremely disorganized. No consistency or routine. They do not have cameras that work. Staff has minimal training no breaks. I feel sorry for the children who have attended the summer program here or before and after school care. I feel sorry for the employees. I am shocked that an organization like this could like this. They leave gates unlocked that lead to the parking lot . When I brought that up to Andrea Taylor, she said it was due to “fire safety”. In every daycare or school I have worked or been a parent of enrolled children at I have never encountered such a negligent practice. (There is such a thing as keys) They are using inappropriate facilities and rooms for children that are not safe. They advertise breakfast and lunch but if you are thinking of enrolling your child here, ask to look at the type of food they call “breakfast” and “lunch”. A yogurt cup and a granola bar is not breakfast for kids who are here from 6:30am to lunch which starts at 11:30. Incidents are constantly happening with the children . Which is not surprising due to the extreme level of incompetence from upper management as well as negligence. With the lack of training and terrible working conditions for the staff. Absence of routine, consistency, and lack of planning organization . This is not a summer camp . It’s extremely low-quality daycare . There are no expectations set for the children no rules . It seems they just tried to enroll as many kids as possible to get funding from the state without even planning anything or considering the facilities. As a parent, and educator I am shocked. I will never support the YMCA again or enroll myself or my children in any of the programs.

When I sought aftercare for my daughter during a family emergency, Bella evaded my calls for three days. Upon visiting the facility, I was turned away, with Bella citing overcapacity, despite my explaining the dire circumstances. She callously suggested seeking services elsewhere and refused to consider alternative solutions. When I inquired about others in similar situations, she dismissed my concerns. Despite requesting to speak to the director, I was merely provided with an email address. During my departure, another staff member, Leo, harassed me, displaying a lack of training and respect.
This conduct is contrary to the YMCA’s mission of community support and respect. Bella’s bias/discrimination against my family, stemming from a previous incident, is evident. This recurring mistreatment is unacceptable. I will inform Jason Heetland of the unprofessionalism I’ve endured from staff members (Bella and Leo).
The YMCA’s commitment to combating racism and oppression is not reflected in this facility. Despite my contributions to the community, I expect to be treated with dignity and empathy.

No help at the front desk. The dirtiest and slowest YMCA in the area. They don’t connect with YMCAs Apparently when it comes to nationwide members, there is a big African-American worker that made me feel uncomfortable on my first day.
