I love this studio!!!!! The coaches are absolutely amazing and make these workouts so fun! Chloe is my favorite coach but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. So encouraging and they get to know you and your goals to help you reach them. They remembered me from my first visit and welcomed me in by name the second time (and every time after that). Can’t recommend enough! Workouts are hard but not unbearable, I always leave feeling better than I came in!

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been to multiple hiit gyms, all great but this is my favorite! I have been attending this gym since February‘21. Always 2 trainers to help you with form and to push you! I love that. We all need to be pushed! All the trainers are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. After taking some time off working out, I was so excited to rejoin F45 East Phoenix. I’ve never been big into “group fitness” classes, but these are so different. They’ve created such a welcoming environment at the studio that it was never intimidating starting up. The workouts themselves are challenging and always changing. This is the nicest, most innovative F45 gym I’ve been to, and I have worked out at three different locations in Arizona and one in San Diego. Coach Brandon really knows what he’s talking about when it comes to proper form and avoiding injury. I enjoy the vibe and energy, and the amenities and layout are impressive. It feels incredible to end a hard workout and be handed a cold towel lightly scented with essential oils! This is the best group fitness workout in Arcadia hands down.

Joining CrossFit full strength has been the best decision I’ve made in years. For context I used to go to planet fitness for about two years. I saw progress but it was nothing comparable to what I have achieved at CrossFit full strength. I was worried about being able to transition to something like CrossFit. Because the atmosphere is so welcoming and educational, the transition was easy. All I had to was SHOW UP and they did the rest. The programming is awesome for someone who is willing to do the work but lacks the knowledge to self teach a gym routine. It’s truly made my life so much healthier and plus I get compliments all the time that I’m jacked which is a plus. Ian, Gayle, and Allie are amazing coaches who will give you the push you need without pushing too far. They have such good knowledge on form as well. I cannot recommend enough anyone in the phoenix area to give full strength a try for a month. You will not regret it.

Really enjoying my experience at Wild Fire. Exposing and addressing deficiencies in a completely friendly, no-stress, all-are-welcome atmosphere. I was looking for a CF gym with a good location (5 min from work), various classes & times (even some virtual/at home), adequate amenities (2 bathrooms, 2 showers, refrigerator, drinks for sale), coaches that will engage with you (shout out to Ashley G), and friendly athletes who will support you on your fitness journey. I’ve been a crossfitter since 2017 and have seen multiple gyms. Upon walking in, I was greeted and introduced to a number of people, a simple gesture that made me feel more than welcome. I’ve only been here a month but I hope to make this my Phoenix CrossFit home.

A great community and a positive, welcoming space, no matter your fitness level. My husband and I are both members and enjoy both the regular crossfit classes as well as the Olympic lifting classes. We also do personal training with Coach Jeff, which has been incredible. We have both made tremendous progress in our fitness and really enjoy the people and welcoming environment. I’ve been looking for a gym since I moved here six years ago. This one popped up on my Facebook feed so I checked it out. It checked off every single box I had. I started the workouts and they are more than I could’ve hoped for. This gym has shown me it doesn’t matter how old you are, you can still do CrossFit! Whether you’re an experienced CrossFitter or just looking to get started, CF Wildfire is an amazing place. After a LONG break from CrossFit, I finally found this place and was impressed with everyone I’ve met since. It is really a welcoming, supportive gym for anyone interested in getting in shape. I have a bad back and my coaches have been able to work with me to find ways to safely work on building me to where I want to be. After a couple years I’m moving closer to that goal while remaining injury free and loving the community of folks.

Tusk is the most welcoming gym I have ever walked into. Cal and Taylor have created an amazing staff and community here. The coaches are knowledgeable and care about every athlete that attends their class. They not only coach you through the movements and workout, they challenge you to be your best. The programming is great and tailors to anyone and everyone no matter if you are just starting or have been doing crossfit for 10 years or even working through an injury.
Tusk also offers nutrition coaching which I would highly recommended! I’ve done the nutrition program twice and got great results! Ask any of the coaches about it when you come in!

I don’t have a lot of gym experiences, and my biggest concern, in my 40s, was going to a gym and getting hurt, or hurting myself. From day one the coaches are amazing, attentive and really great about making sure I understood my limits. They are really great coaches that know what they are doing and really make you feel like you belong there. Now 3 years in I feel great, lost 55lbs with the nutrition program, lifting and competing in fun competition’s! Absolutely loved my drop-in to Sol! I was over in Phoenix all the way from Scotland for work. The gym is awesome! Great equipment and space and they are currently in the process of making it even better. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The coaches were great and like how the workout was structured. I haven’t worked out at Sol for awhile now as I had a baby and moved to the west side of town. I recently started to get back into CrossFit again and can’t come back to Sol as it’s too far away from my new home unfortunately.. But I attended Sol for over 3 years. Being at a different gym now.. I’m going to tell you why Sol is different and amazing. I miss it often and hope I move back closer someday. Sol made me feel like I had a second family. Someone greeted me every time I walked in the door. I got to shake everyone’s hand before the class started and meet someone new each time. The coaches cheered me on when I felt like dying during a workout. They gave me feedback on how I was doing and helped me become better. They made me laugh all the time.. like tears laughing. They built me up when my confidence was low. They truly care. They invited me to BBQs and parties like one big extended family. And most importantly.. they changed my life. Not just from work outs.. but their ability to connect with me on a deeper level. I love the owner Lance. I love Jessie. I love the coaches. I love my memories there. I love the other crossfitters there. If you are considering trying CrossFit.. this is the best in the valley. You won’t be disappointed. Hands down.. my favorite gym forever! I haven’t found this environment anywhere else.

Best gym in the phoenix area! Came here for a work trip and needed a place to train for strongman and was blown away at how awesome of an atmosphere they have here! The owner has got to be on of the most passionate gym owners I’ve ever met! If you need a place to train its here!! Also some of the coolest strongman setups I’ve seen in a gym along with everything else needed

Love this place! Adam has been my trainer for almost 4 years and I’ve never stuck with something like this before in my life! I’m totally motivated and have made more progress in my fitness than I ever have before. I’ve lost about 100 lbs now and gained muscles I didn’t know I had! He got me to compete in several Strongman competitions even and I’ve even got nationals invitations! Would highly recommend! This has become my second family!

Best gym in Arizona, hands down! Adam and Mel have created such a welcoming and encouraging environment.
Adam has been coaching my wife for a few months, preparing her for her first powerlifting meet. It’s incredible how strong she has gotten in such a short amount of time! Adam leverages his expertise to identify and remove bad habits quickly and replace them with good habits and cues.
The gym has a wide variety of equipment and bars. It has everything you need to become the best version of yourself!

Honestly 10/10 would recommend! Adam is incredible! He is so kind and he doesn’t judge anyone for their size or their weight. He truly want to help them succeed and he always sees the potential and strength in a person. If you have the money I would definitely utilize his session package because in the long run it will save you money. I was only there once a week for a few months but it literally felt like family. Everyone that would come in there and workout by themselves would stop and cheer you on for accomplishing a goal. Even though I was only going once a week I was still able to firm up a bit and lose some inches across my whole body. You also can’t forget the gym dogo, Atlas!! If I had the funds I would go back in a heartbeat!

I was grateful to find a gym like no other, Adam is a great coach he helped me out in a lot of ways, he’s knowledge, and passionate of what he does. The best strength training gym in AZ hands down. Best Strongman gym with plenty of equipment for almost every event you could think of: from the countless sandbags, stones, logs, yokes, etc. Strongman Saturdays are also a nice touch to give to the community as an opportunity to add to your overall knowledge of strength movements. ATP is also a powerlifters heaven with every variation bar that you could think of, every combo rack needed for any federation, a full sized mono rack, 5 deadlift platform (one more catered towards Olympic lifting), and all of your favorite powerlifting accessory machines! If you’re a bodybuilder, you’ll find the amount of machines, cardio equipment, and mirrors to fill your every need. Last, if your just looking for an overall good gym to go to as a non competitive yet serious gym goer this gym offers one of the best atmospheres to be within, from the 2 most loving gym dogs to the kind owners to the rest of the we’ll advised and helpful gym members. Some of my key highlights that make this private gym better than others are as follows: having bathrooms with multiple toilets, showers and lockers. A gym that hosts numerous yearly competitions for multiple sports. And even more rarely, A PT clinic in the upstairs portion of the building. I’d highly advise anyone visiting the Phoenix Metro area to check it out!

Been going to the Hub for close to 10 years. My entire family goes and there are many other families across a huge range of ages. We love the community feel and welcoming environment. While the workouts can be very challenging Craig and the trainers always offer modifications bases on your own ability. “It’s your workout”. They host competitions, community events, and the annual Murph workout. Overall a great experience.

Best gym in Ahwatukee! I’ve been going to this gym for several years. The trainers are very helpful and accommodate to your personal fitness level and can modify any portion of the workout for you. When I first joined, a knee injury prevented me from doing lunges, let alone a squat. Now the strength I’ve built has dramatically improved my mobility. The staff and fellow gym members are very welcoming. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone. There is value here for everyone!

“Community” gets thrown around a lot when it comes to reviewing gyms, but out of all the functional fitness gyms I’ve been to (and there’s been quite a few of them), the community and hospitality at Hub has been the absolute best. The programming is outstanding for all levels of fitness, but what’s more extraordinary is the welcoming environment; that’s what makes Hub truly unique. Could not provide any higher of a recommendation for Hub Fitness; highly encourage anyone to drop-in sometime.

I recently had the pleasure of dropping into Octane CrossFit, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and energized by the positive atmosphere.
Coach Kim was absolutely fantastic. Her whiteboard brief was clear and concise, breaking down a complex workout in a way that made it easy to understand. I really appreciated how she took the time to explain the nuances of each movement and the overall flow of the session. Her demo was spot-on, showcasing not only the technical aspects but also providing valuable insights on form and technique.
What stood out the most was Kim’s focus on scaling options. She made sure that every athlete, regardless of their skill level, felt included and capable of tackling the workout. It’s so refreshing to see a coach who genuinely cares about each member’s progress and well-being.

Let me start off by saying that Octane is a special place.
I joined 6 months ago and it has been the best decision I’ve ever made for myself. I’m 44 and I was overweight, tired, felt like crap, and on a bunch of medications. I needed to make a change, a challenge to shoot for, so I signed up for a Spartan obstacle course race. I figured I had to train so I searched for a CrossFit gym nearby, which is how I found Octane.
The second I met George I could tell he really cared about my goals and helping me improve. He motivated me to be consistent in showing up at the gym and he and the other trainers would help with the rest along the way.
I can’t say enough how amazing the trainers are. They are always helpful with a positive attitude. It doesn’t matter where you’re at in your fitness journey, they will help you at the stage you’re at. I had no clue what I was doing when I joined and still don’t to some degree but that’s ok, progress is progress even when it’s small.
Now six months later, I’m stronger, thinner, just completed my Spartan race, and no longer on any medications. I feel like a different person.
One simple decision can change the course of your life no matter how old you are, it did for me. Thank you George and all the trainers and members at Octane. I appreciate every one of you ❤️

I came here for two drop in classes in early November, and it was an incredibly welcoming, fun, inclusive environment. The workouts were great, and I really appreciate when a gym doesn’t have a list of a bunch of different versions/scales of the workout but instead states the RX workout and the coaches modify it on an individual basis. That’s what this gym does and I think it shows the caliber of coaching. Both coaches I took classes with were encouraging and top notch skill-wise. They gave really great cues, as well as excellent scales for my fitness level. All the members were also really friendly and went out of their way to say hello and make me feel at home. This seems like a wonderful gym community and one I will absolutely come back and visit next time I’m in Phoenix. If I lived here, this would be my spot.

Where do I start? Chuckwalla is hands down the best gym I’ve ever belonged to! I’ve been a member for 4 years (I think??) and it’s always been a positive experience. You will find the absolute best people in Central Phoenix here – the community is the most fun & most supportive. The gym welcomes all ages and abilities, whether you’ve been working out your whole life or just decided to start. It doesn’t matter, all workouts can be made for any level. Everyone belongs here and it’s the second family you didn’t know you needed! It’s the perfect combination of letting you do your own thing with their open gym option or encouraging you to try new things like a competition, barbell club or even running with their run club! Moving down to Central & leaving my previous gym, it was so hard to find a new gym and this place has been the greatest! If you are on the fence, I encourage you to take the leap & join.
