Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix

I recently attended a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu seminar and had an awesome experience! I was a little nervous at first, but the instructors were very welcoming and made everyone feel comfortable. They shared a lot of helpful background on the history and principles of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, which made the techniques we learned even more meaningful. It was a well-organized and encouraging environment — highly recommend to anyone curious about self-defense or starting their jiu-jitsu journey!

I attended a Valley Young Professionals event at Gracie Jiu Jitsu for an intro self-defense class and had a fantastic experience! The instructors were extremely informative and respectful of everyone’s boundaries. The atmosphere was very safe, welcoming, and clean. Highly recommend this place for anyone interested in learning self-defense in a positive environment!

I have been here for 8 years of my life and I still don’t regret going to this CTC. I am so blessed to be apart of a community that is so dedicated to the art of self defense and the people who are so kind and supportive as the people there. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is a wonderful and welcoming environment for all! I attended a special group event and was able to receive 2 hrs of instruction and learned about the history of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu that I will never forget. All the instructors there are incredible and the head instructor, Adam, was very attentive and flexible in changing the schedule as other people asked questions and threw out scenarios. Highly recommend trying them out and I look forward to my next visit!

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Phoenix is a wonderful place to learn jiu-jitsu. The curriculum is structured in a way that makes it much easier to learn. The instructors are fantastic! They are very knowledgeable and great teachers. Fellow students and instructors are very supportive of new students looking to get started in the sport. I can’t recommend Gracie Jiu-Jitsu enough!

Every time a new girl or woman joins our club, I always go over to greet her with a friendly hello. I always tell them that this is the best girls club ever! All of the participants are happy and welcoming and are here to learn how to protect themselves! The teaching staff is so professional and supportive, even if you do the moves incorrectly, they patiently come over and help you to understand the technique so you can learn the move correctly! My older son joined less than a year ago and our entire family has benefited from Gracie jiu jitsu. The teachings are so useful and practical for all people. It has truly brought more peace into our day to day. The principles and the discipline align with what our family strives to achieve daily. The coaches are incredible. Coach Adam is a remarkable leader for the dojo. Coach Erica is an extremely effective teacher, with kids who are role models and teachers themselves seemingly everyday. I strongly recommend this dojo and these coaches.
