If you’re looking for the best caterer for a wedding or special event, look no further than Atlasta Catering. We were recommended to check them out for our wedding at the Desert Botanical Gardens by several trusted sources, including our wedding planner (Niki from NJ Event Collective) and photographer (Matthew Wheeler) and they did not disappoint. From start to finish, the entire process was top-notch. The owner, Steve, made our tasting session an unforgettable experience. Instead of just studying a menu, Steve and his team took us on a culinary journey, exploring each dish one by one. After that first tasting, we knew Atlasta would be our caterer: the hospitality, professionalism, and most importantly, the food completely blew us away. After the tasting, we selected our favorite appetizers and entrees and worked closely with the team to finalize the menu, rentals, and quote. Atlasta was incredibly professional and flexible throughout — any request was welcome. Whether you want plated salads and a buffet for entrees, a full buffet, or a plated dinner, they’re accommodating and make the process easy. They provided options for selecting dinnerware and drinkware to elevate the evening. We even added coffee later with no hassle. Plus, they offered thoughtful drink pairings after reviewing the Desert Botanical Gardens’ alcohol menu. On the wedding day, Atlasta did an outstanding job. Atlasta Catering, run by the incredible Steve and Kristine Short, made our wedding unforgettable. Steve’s presence on the day of our event was such a kind and unexpected touch—it truly showed their commitment to excellence. Throughout the entire process, communication was flawless. Every email was answered within 24 hours, and a special thanks goes to Madison, Kayla, and Kristine for their patience in answering all my questions. The tasting before booking was an experience in itself—next level and left no doubt that we were in great hands. On the big day, Cambria, our catering captain, kept us well-fed and happy. We opted for a buffet to stay within our budget, and neither the food quality nor the service skipped a beat. The dishes were restaurant quality, and the attention to detail was remarkable. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food! I delayed writing this review because I truly could not put into words how great Atlasta was to work with. I am so happy that we picked them as our caterer. They set the standard for the industry! Atlasta Catering went above and beyond, and I can’t recommend them highly enough for any special occasion.

Not only are they incredibly kind and generous, they take pride in their events and create a guest experience that is 5 stars. The food is fantastic and there is a variety of options to choose from. Wow wow wow!! We are east coasters who just held a conference at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at ASU. We interviewed a number of caterers for our two day event and boy are we lucky we landed on Atlasta! I think our attendees found the food better than the conference content! It was SO GOOD! We are used to working with hotels and their catering teams. They couldn’t hold a candle to this catering operation! This is our 17th annual conference and we have never had better food! The service was also impeccable. Thank you to the entire Atlasta team!!

Atlasta catered my rehearsal dinner and wedding. If I could give Atlasta 100 stars out of 5, I would. Everything was truly incredible and far beyond what we imagined we'd have for our wedding weekend. We had so many people tell us that our rehearsal dinner and wedding had the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Those with dietary restrictions said they've never had such an easy time eating at a wedding before. Beyond that, the Atlasta team is INCREDIBLE. From the day we chose them as our caterer up until our wedding day, they were communicative, kind, and accommodating. Steve is so talented and had amazing recommendations that made our wedding dinner absolutely perfect. Not only is the presentation beautiful, the food is so flavorful and delicious. Working with Atlasta was by far the best decision we made when it came to our wedding. Our wedding wouldn't have been a great event if it weren't for all the hard work and attention to detail that Steve, Kristine, Madison, and the Atlasta team put into it. I cannot recommend them enough!

I loved everything about our wedding, but our guests cannot stop talking about the food! Atlasta was incredible. Atlasta was highly recommended to us by our venue, and I'm so glad they urged us to go in that direction. We had a private tasting with chef Steve a little over a year before the wedding, and literally everything he put in front of us was incredible. It was so hard to choose what dishes we wanted for the wedding! We decided to go with multiple passed appetizers and stations instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, and I really think that's the best way to go. Our guests got to try so many different options, and loved everything! Some of them are even trying to recreate the recipes at home now! Atlasta also really focuses on sustainability which was important to us in choosing a vendor. During the planning process, Atlasta was such a pleasure to work with! Their team replied to emails quickly and spent the time to understand the direction we wanted to go. We made some changes leading up to the wedding (including adding a dancer in a skirt holding martini glasses full of mashed potatoes and short rib!!) and the team wasn't phased. The bartenders were amazing as well! Special shoutout to Autumn who took great care of us the whole night! She brought us food and drinks when we were too busy to grab things for ourselves and was so nice to work with. All of the staff were so kind and supportive, and the food was amazing.10/10 would recommend!!
