Fat Freddy’s is amazing. We hired them for our 40 guest backyard wedding. They were like ninjas, coming in quietly and setting up, The spread was beautiful, decorated so nicely. We had the prime rib and chicken, and mashed potatoes, carrots, and salad. It was all delicious! We got many compliments on the food! Also, Bradford was awesome. He was helpful in every way you want a caterer to be. My only suggestion is better knives when prime rib is served. Otherwise, I highly recommend Fat Freddys for your event! We will definitely use them again.

This past weekend Fat Freddy’s Catering provided the food for a birthday celebration at our home. Dan who did the set-up and carving was awesome. I have never felt so supported. He made suggestions, had everything prepped and labeled, and was gracious and friendly. He was constantly cleaning up not only around the food, but several times I saw him walking the patio picking up finished plates. He was a joy to work with and we will certainly request him for our next event.

The food was INCREDIBLE. Everyone was coming up to compliment us on the food/display.

I worked via phone and email with Kelly in the office. She was always friendly and prompt. Their website is easy to understand and helpful during the planning stage.

We will definitely use them again! Thanks Dan and Kelly.

There seemed to be a wide selection of products, though i am not sure compared to other places, as I knew exactly what I was looking for when I came in. The person who assisted me was easy to work with and had more than enough knowledge to answer my questions.

The only complaint i have is they are only open bankers hours, it would be nice if they were open later or on the weekend.

If you are looking for a new stereo or to upgrade your existing, this is the place to go!

We used McKenna for my daughter’s wedding. The day of the wedding, there was a huge wind storm, and it changed a few details and was a little stressful. McKenna and her team were prepared and they let me know they had it handled, and not to worry, that everything would work out. And truthfully, that’s why you hire a wedding planner, so you don’t have to worry when the plan changes. So I left it in their hands and somehow they got 24 tables set and ready, and an outside bar opened in 30 minutes when the wind died down! We were introduced about 4 months out and met in person about 1 month from the wedding. McKenna handled all communication prior to the rehearsal and Emma took over as my Day of Coordinator. Loved everything about Butcher Block Catering for our wedding at Hope Barn and Gardens in North Phoenix from the food to the price to the service. Michael and Janine are the very best! All the guests loved the food and so glad even us as the bride and groom got to enjoy all of it! Michael and his crew do an excellent job preparing the food and serving their guests. I have never tasted food with this much flavor. It’s clear that Michael and his team put a lot of passion in the flavoring of everything they prepare. My favorites are (in no particular order) would have to be the Spinach artichoke dip, the Tri-tip beef and the MOST delicious Scallop Potatoes (Chef Michael’s specialty). I don’t really know what all is in those potatoes, but hey who doesn’t like cheesy potatoes? They are a MUST try.

The experience was everything that we were looking for and more! Our wedding was small, 30 people total. This space is able to hold a much larger group but we still felt cozy and they did a great job of not making it look or feel empty. They through in little surprises here and there and made us feel so special on our day.

Having free rein to pick and choose whatever we wanted within the package was awesome and I honestly feel like it was worth the money paid. I have yet to meet a bride that was less stressed than myself through the planning process.

They just recently renovated the buildings and they are lovey without loosing their charm.

The vendors are great, everyone LOVED the food (which is not common for a wedding). All of the vendors took a good amount of time to get to know us and our tastes which I appreciated as well. Even the Photo Booth operator went above and beyond.

I have so many good things to say, and sincerely do not have any complaints.

All I can say is WOW! The Croft blew it out of the water from start to finish. We booked with them in November and our wedding was in May. I was diagnosed with breast cancer the week after we booked and working with The Croft made my life so much less stressful planning a wedding and going through cancer treatment. Natalia was exceptional and really loves what she does. She even included extra details the day of the wedding like reusing flowers that were left from the previous wedding, providing table numbers and some extra candles. She even took one of my favorite photos from that day. It really was a magical and unforgettable day! Thank you!

Words can’t explain how amazing Thomas was for our wedding. We already had high expectations based on his 5 star reviews but even then he somehow exceeded those expectations and more, I would say he is an 11 out of 10! Thomas is what I would call a true professional in his field, not only did he take the most amazing photos to capture our special day but he also did an amazing job keeping track of the timeline and flow on our behalf. With Thomas around we didn’t have to think twice about the logistics of photos and he even went out of his way to help with the ceremony flow. Thomas also proactively made sure we were set up for success by providing a second photographer as his wife was expecting and he wanted to make sure we were set for our wedding. I would recommend Thomas for every photography need you may have. Where do I begin when it comes to TJ.
He was one of the very first vendors we chose, per recommendation of Cedar & Sage Weddings.

We had a very specific vision for what we wanted our photos to look like. All over we were seeing the trend of muted hues & brownish filters, but we wanted bright, colorful, vibrant. We wanted our wedding photos to POP. The second we opened TJ’s website we saw a photo of rings on top of a purple bouquet, & the purple stood out exactly how we wanted the colors of our wedding to. We were getting married in the woods & we didn’t want the trees to look burnt & boring – we wanted to capture the vibrance & greenery of the day. That’s exactly what TJ did.

Our engagement session was so much fun. TJ recommended some of his favorite spots in the woods of Northern AZ, he directed us patiently, & he captured our personalities & how we are together in such a way that it felt like he had already known us for years.

On wedding day – TJ quickly realized how quirky our friend group can be, & he got shots that show the friendships we have with our bridal party perfectly.

He put priority on making sure we got the best photos during golden hour, & I can already tell from the sneak peeks he sent us that we will have a hell of a time choosing favorites to frame. Every single one we’ve seen so far has blown us away.

I was worried about time on the big day, & said if we didn’t have the time to do a first look with my dad that it was okay. But TJ kept us on track & made it happen. And now I will cherish this memory with my father forever.

Not only does TJ work well with the bride, groom & bridal party, he works great with the other vendors on site, even during the times that it gets a little hectic.

He will also pop out his Polaroid camera to snag a few shots and you’ll get to go home with a few Polaroids for a vintage look back on the day

TJ was our photographer for our engagement and wedding day photos. I am not afraid to admit, my husband and I are not the easiest to photograph because one of us always finds a way to ruin a perfectly good photo moment by either looking away, making an awkward face, or not knowing how to pose…THANK GOODNESS for TJ! He was so easy to work with – he always knows how to capture the most beautiful photos and makes us feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. Since he is a local photographer, he had the perfect spot in mind to capture our engagement photos in the most gorgeous desert scenery.

Our wedding was as DIY as they come and we did NOT hire a day of coordinator- this could have been disastrous if it wasn’t for TJ’s professionalism. As others have noted prior, he sends you a questionnaire with every detail imaginable – including a timeline of your day so he is able to work his magic and capture everything. His questionnaire is what allowed us as DIYers to confidently map out our entire day. We even managed to get ahead of schedule— we had time to slow down and soak in some special moments that would have been missed if we hadn’t been as prepared.

We received our engagement and wedding photos timely and in the most organized online album. He uploads them by category so you don’t feel overwhelmed looking through them all and makes it simple to share with friends and family.

I would highly recommend Thomas Shull Photography to anyone looking for a photographer.

Rachel was our server and she was great! Her recommendations were spot on and everything was great. We got got olives as an appetizer, shared a pitcher of their version of hard apple cider (amazing) and had salads. Though quite noisy (it was brunch-lunch time), it was still super nice. We sat inside and had plenty of space around us. It’s been years since I’d been to Postino (Scottdale and Gilbert) but, my first time at this location and will definitely go back.

This was my first time at this restaurant and this location. It was hard to find parking and we had to wait for a car to leave before we were able to park. The customer service was good. The food was delicious. However, the menu options were appetizer size, board, sandwiches, and soups, which is too pricey to not get a full protein meal with all the sides. We ordered the shrimp and salad because we didn’t want a board, sandwich, or soup. We also ordered the brownie dessert. If you like finger foods, sandwiches, soups, and salads, this is a good restaurant. However if you like full portions of protein with sides, this is not the restaurant for you. This restaurant is what I consider a ‘Happy Hour’ restaurant and foods. This is not a restaurant to get a full protein meal and sides. There is no steak or grilled chicken breast options on the menu. I was hungry when we arrived and I was not satisfied when we left. I am not a bead crab, sandwich, or soup eater. If you love bread carbs, sandwiches, and soups, this restaurant is for you. This restaurant is expensive for the small portions.

We had a large crowd of 12 people. Came in didn’t have a reservation. Was a bit of a sit but not long. Our waitress was wonderful & so was the service. I tried the board and bottle for like $30 maybe $35 but it was worth it. My bottle was moscato it was delicious and sweet! From left to right on the 3rd picture is French onion, artichoke, apple& fig last one was pesto and salami. I recommend them all but the artichoke. The Brest was soft for the French onion. And a sweet taste for the apple and fig. For a salami and pesto the bread was hard crunchy but still good definitely recommend five stars!!!

Hubs and I hit up Postino recently and it was a bit of a mixed bag, TBH.

First off, the drinks! I’m not usually an Old Fashioned person, but their Smoked Old Fashioned was surprisingly good – super smooth and kinda sweet (they use Buffalo Trace, Johnnie Walker Black, honey, and citrus). My hubs got the Tre Cucumber (vodka, limoncello, cucumber, honey) and loved it, but it was a little too cucumber-y for me. BUT the Prickly Pear Margarita? OMG. Loved it. Had this cool smoky thing going on and wasn’t overly sweet. Definitely get that!

We shared the Bruschetta Board. Some hits, some misses. The brie, apple, and fig was kinda meh – mostly just tasted apple, and the pieces were huge. The sweet ‘n spicy pepper jam with goat cheese? Now THAT was tasty! Sweet with a little kick and a nice burn at the end, plus the goat cheese was a good counterpoint. The French onion? Not my jam at all. The burrata, bacon, and arugula (no tomato on ours) was okay, smoky flavor was there, bread was crunchy, but overall kinda “eh.” Maybe the tomato would’ve helped.

For the main event, we split the West Coaster Panini (got it on focaccia with a side salad). The salad was your basic romaine, tomato, feta, oil and vinegar. The sandwich? Just alright. The ham tasted like regular lunch meat and that’s all I could really taste on my half. The garlic aioli was nice, the arugula gave it a good bitter bite, and the avocado was super ripe. But the Calabria chili and pickled onion? Didn’t really notice ’em. It was basically a ham sandwich. Also, they called it a panini, but it looked like they just grilled the bread and then slapped everything in – no real panini press action.

Now, the service? Freakin’ awesome. Our server Morgan was a rockstar – answered all our questions and even brought me a sample of the orange wine when I asked about it. Another person, Katelyn, who helped us was also super friendly.

Bottom line: Cool cocktails (especially that prickly pear marg!), some tasty apps, some not-so-much, and a pretty average sandwich. BUT the service was top-notch. Might go back for drinks and apps, but maybe skip the panini next time.

I celebrated my disco-themed birthday party at 435 Collective last Saturday, and the party went off without a hitch! I’m so happy I found this place. Emily, the owner, is so kind and easy to work with. She was very willing to share contacts and vendors that helped make the party even better. She was super flexible with me when I was setting up for the party. And Nicole, the manager, is super nice and does a great job supervising the event. We ended up using their resource for bartenders, and those guys were awesome too. They also broke down everything after the party so that I could pretty much just walk away when the music stopped. Such pros! I highly recommend using this space.

The venue was ok. I think you have to know somebody to get any info from them because when you call the voicemail is full and they never reply to texts.
Overall it was a fun event but the facility isnt the best for sound.
There are no clear parking details and no way to get information since there is nothing on their website and the lack of other contact availability.
I personally would never consider this place for an event due to location, lack of communication and website information.
I did try to contact them about a wedding previously but again, no response.

We held our first ever fraternity formal at the 435 collective in Spring of 2023. The whole experience was a very fun one and we were very happy to have held it at this venue. Emily and the rest of the staff were very helpful in setting up our event. They offered lights and were cooperative the whole time. Getting in and out of the venue was quick and simple enough. Now on to the Brunch served which we were lucky to be invited to partake in by the Fred Astaire group. The food served at the buffet brunch exceeded my expectations. Truly! First off, the pastries were an unusual variety. A Carmelized Potato Bacon Danish?! Hands down my favorite was the Cinnamon Roll Scone. How I would love the recipe for this one! This scone tastes like it has cinnamon pie crust in it so kind of textured and then such an intense cinnamon flavor, with a subtle swirl on top. I could have eaten a dozen of these!

On the buffet line, I loaded my plate with:
* Eggs Benedict
* Pork Tenderloin
* Asparagus
*Cinnamon Roll Scone
* Earl Gray Chocolate Mini Bobka

Sad to day, I missed out on the Belgian Waffle station, b/c I had no room in my belly. But! they served NUTELLA with them! Superb selection. My co-worker chowed down on the waffles and said they were magically delicious.

Here’s the thing: on any buffet line, food can dry out or become stale. But this was a very active line, lots of people eating and lots of staff switching out the empty or nearly empty buffet dishes.

Staff was super nice & when I raved about those Cinnamon Roll Scones, one server said she’d inform the pastry chef, who’d love to hear that.

I recently went to an event at Chateau Luxe for my son’s football team, and it was fantastic. The place is classy, spacious, and beautifully designed–perfect for a formal event.

As soon as we walked in, the vibe felt really upscale. The lighting was stylish, the furniture was luxurious, and the layout was well-organized, even with a big crowd.

The event space was set up nicely, with plenty of room for people to move around and socialize. The sound was clear during speeches and presentations, which was a big plus.

Overall, Chateau Luxe was a great choice for a high-end event. It’s ideal for banquets, galas, or team celebrations, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch venue.

This place is a perfect venue for large parties or corporate events. The outside is gorgeous lots of grass and incredible lighting. The inside lobby area is huge with incredible lighting see the attached pictures. There are separate ballrooms for all types of occasions pretty incredible. The service is top-notch plenty of staff they also offer valet parking.
