Runner's Den

My first time visiting the store and I came in specifically looking for walking shoes. The sales associate, Chian, was helpful and pulled a lot of different options in my size (womens 10 wide). There were a pair of shoes I really liked because of the colorway, but Chian provided some good info/feedback on how those wouldn't be the best for walking. Comfort > Fashion. I walked out with a pair of Hoka Clifton 10s and Altra Experience Wilds. Each had a different feel, but both were super comfortable. Would definitely visit this store again next time I'm in PHX!

Came in to check out some new shoes and talked to Derek. He was super cool. Got some solid new kicks. Definitely gonna shop here again.

These folks are amazing! I have hypermobility issues and the sales person named Brooks was very patient, helpful, and kind. We found a shoe that made my feet feel great. I’ll definitely be back here! Already telling my wife to go to runners den for her next pair 🙂

I need shoes for lateral movements, and have issues finding Size 5W! Thanks for recommending half size up, and Brooks. I love my Saucony shoes, and did not consider Brooks! I am excited to take line dance classes now. TY

Sales team was incredible (specifically Brett). As a new runner, I came in with a plethora of questions! I had previously visited Roadrunner Sports and had a very different experience than I had with Brett. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. He brought me a ton of different options and I ended up selecting a brand that I hadn’t originally considered. Highly recommend!

I’ve gotten my Last three pair of running shoes from the runners den solely based off of my first experience there. I cannot believe how excellent the customer service was, and how much time the female associate spent ensuring I got the perfect shoe. She taught me so much and was so unbelievably patient. That was in 2016. I went back in 2023 for my second pair of running shoes and there was another female associate Who took her time, but was not as patient as the first associate, but nevertheless, I left with a good pair of running shoes. Fast-forward to 2025 I traveled back to Arizona and went to the runners Den. This time there were all male associates. Customer service was poor, and you can sense the resistance to serve me. Because of the attitudes, I ended up returning the shoe and I don’t know that I will be back in the future.

I got my first pair of running shoes from here at the beginning of the new year. The employees were all so sweet and informative! They helped me get a great pair of shoes and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t actually need. AND they save your shoe preference and size on file for you to come back in the future! I will definitely be back soon 🙂
