But that last ride… whew. There’s always that one that reminds you 100% satisfaction isn’t always guaranteed.

I simply asked, “What’s the ETA?”
The driver snapped back with, “I don’t know.”
Not only was the tone unnecessary, but the answer didn’t even make sense—you’re literally following GPS. It tells you the ETA.

So, while the overall experience was mostly solid, that last impression matters.
Two thumbs down for that final ride.

Stay away from this company. I’m not a person to complain, but my situation was getting worse with each minute, and day that passed by.

My driver, Joshua Seese, was first a few minutes late from the original pickup time. Fine, things happen, but let’s keep the lines of communication open. So we have an understanding.

When I arrived at my pickup location in Phoenix AR. at (10:55 am) and saw other drivers taking care of the customer. I waited and saw no extra vehicle available. I then called the drivers cell. (11:03) No answer, I then texted for information about ETA. (11:05) I didn’t get a reply back. He called back 8 minutes after my call (11:11) to mention he would be there shortly. Again, he arrived after my schedule 11:15 pickup. After all the other drivers left, I was the only customer waiting for my pickup. Phoenix weather was 112°

He arrived in his vehicle, Nav3 Black Lincoln SUV. My first impression was that vehicles could honestly use a car wash. I made that statement because I saw the other vehicle before my vehicle arrived, nice and clean looking. Every other driver had on a nice suit or casual wear. Mr. Seese clothing attire to me was, “What the heck?” Basketball shorts, a black tee-shirt, flip flops with black old socks and dark sun glasses. I thought I was on a candid camera show or something. Nope, this is my driver. If you don’t believe me, ask the lady who became my shared drive. Like I wrote before, my trip got worse by the minute.

After seeing Mr, Seese and I was inside the vehicle, he mentioned if I was emailed because he had another pickup that was given to him about half an hour ago. What? At no time was I advised of a shared drive from your company via email or call. I was up since 4 am here it is 2 pm in NY time, and I had a 5 hour flight, I wanted to rest alone on my 2 hour drive to Sedona. There goes that idea.

Mr. Seese was also late for his other pickup as well. The other guest kept calling him for ETA also. Guess what? He picked up her call while driving. That another no no because he should have a Bluetooth device. Also, he took her call but not mine when I reached out to him. On another note, his car would shake at high speeds. That’s an indication that the car needs to be serviced, may need new tires, or the car may need a wheel alignment. This is endangering your customers if you’re not inspecting your driver vehicle on a regular basis. My mistake was not recording or taking photos with my phone, but that won’t ever happen again. This experience has made me more alert to any future situation to be ready to record with my phone.

I have personally reached out to this company via email and phone call. In my email, I have attached a screenshot of my call log and text message to Mr. Seese to show my time calling and no reply back to my text. My question was, does your company feel that my situation was fair to me? I look forward to a reply back with instructions on how this can be addressed.

I received a response back that it has been forwarded to the management team attention. After 2 more emails and no reply back. I decided to call them. In my phone call, I asked the girl who picked up the phone. How long does it take the management team to reply back to an email? She was rude and said she doesn’t work for them, so she doesn’t know. But she will make them aware of my phone call.

This company has not replied back yet to my 3 emails and phone calls. This is another first-time experience on the worst customer service. To ignore a complaint or concerns. To have no regard for a bad rating or bad review?

Catch me once, shame on you. Catch me twice, shame on me. Never again will I use this company. People, please read other situations and reviews.

The only good experience about my drive to Sedona from Phoenix was that the conversation at time was good and the scenic landscape views.

The Drivers were absolutely amazing. They were on time and helped pack suitcases into the trunk and remove them upon arrival. I especially appreciated the small talk, it made them very personable. I definitely will recommend this Company to anyone who might need this service.

Great experience. Our driver Ray was very helpful with every bag. We had extra luggage and it was no problem for him. We had nice conversation and it made the trip go quick. He did a great job driving and the vehicle was nice and comfortable.

Please don’t spend your money here. I’m not the type to complain or write reviews, but here is a summary of the deeply disappointing and disrespectful experience I had with this business:

I was scheduled for a 2:30 am pickup due to limited flight availability.
Instead of arriving within the 10–15 minute window outlined in their policy, the driver called and texted me several times a full 45 minutes early. Then he knocked on my bedroom window 20 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. As a woman traveling alone in the early hours, this felt intrusive and unsettling.

I reached out to the company to explain the situation and requested either a partial refund or the return of the driver gratuity (as their own policy allows). They replied once, saying they couldn’t offer a partial refund due to being a small business, but that they would escalate my email. I followed up to ask about the guaranteed gratuity return and escalation and received zero response (it has been over 2 weeks now).

The lack of accountability and professionalism is why I would not recommend this service—especially to solo travelers who expect reliable, respectful, and safe transportation.

I had a great experience with Raymond. He was incredibly well-educated, a true gentleman, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. The conversation was engaging and respectful, and he made the ride feel comfortable and welcoming. It’s rare to come across someone so professional yet personable. Highly recommended!

Raymond was a pleasure to take a ride with for an hour and a half. He is interesting and friendly when you want to talk and fine of you don’t. His communication before and after the trip to be sure we were picked up seemlessly was 6-Star! Thanks for the water bottles that you had frozen just enough to make them refreshing after a long plane ride!

Terrible experience. We booked a week ahead of our flight. They got the date and flight wrong off the bar, which took a few days to straighten out. We reserved a car for three adults with three full size bags. The day of, they sent us a small car (the driver said it was the smallest they had) that only fit two bags. And the driver was wearing an arm sling for surgery. We had nothing by sympathy for her but in reality, she shouldn’t have been driving in the first place. We had to cancel the ride and drive ourselves to the airport last minute.

The company refused to refund us because we didn’t cancel 48 hours ahead of time. Their mistake cost us our money. Do not recommend.

When all the other cab companies would not answer or put me on hold this company not only answered and was about to close their business for the night that was according to the website, but also extended their hours of service just for me! They quickly pick me up and had me on my way with ease, nice cars, friendly helpful staff. By the end of my ride I had asked for a card because I will definitely use them again and again.

I was running late and needed a taxi to get me to the airport in a hurry. Not being familiar with Phoenix I also need a little help figuring out just where I needed to be picked up. The dispatcher stated on the line with me while arranging the pickup and made sure I knew I was going to get there on time. I will use them again and I highly recommend them. I only wish I could have also given the dispatcher a tip for being so great!

This man is really really what you think he is, Funny, On time, and makes you feel like your own your car, my experience was an absolute 10/10, he will get you where you need to anytime! He’s a must to be chosen on a taxi service situation!

drivers was charging my phone and I forgot it in the car and then when I called for it I didn’t get a good answer so I went there personally and she happened to be right there and I confronted her where’s my phone at she goes I set it on the ground you didn’t get it like even a child knows not to leave a phone anywhere by itself especially an iPhone like mine my iPhone had cost me a pretty penny and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to buy another one so a gentleman came out and asked what’s the problem and I had to explain to him and he went and talked to her in a room it just doesn’t make sense and I and I am not satisfied of the outcome of it so she pulled me aside and told me I have an iPhone and a few other phones I can bring and you can pick out of those if you like any of them and anyways so when I did meet up with her she brought me two Obama phones that were cracked and seen better days there was no iPhone whatsoever most of all my accounts I won’t be able to get into because the phone I do not have anymore so I am very disappointed and we’ll be filing a police report on the driver she probably sold it for $200 to help her with her cab payment

from Sky Harbor to Mesa (August 2025). Driver could not understand nor communicate in English AT ALL. He had no idea what I was asking and could not explain anything! Am a senior female and ride was very uncomfortable and felt unsafe. Vehicle smelled strongly of cig. smoke and driver was rude and unable to communicate anything! Am not against jobs for immigrants but in a human service job communication skills and a friendly manner are an absolute necessity. I will never go with VIP taxi again!

A great big black guy named Omar who was real happy to of catched me, trying to sell Princess Diana fur balls, not to me, but I gave him a tip higher than my bill. He made my day less stressful to relax at Airport and eat Bumbles 10″ pepperoni for 30$!?

Was in a real bind and needed a taxi immediately to get to an airport – interstate . No other taxi service or app possible . I got a taxi immediately and Kevin , the driver , was fantastic, polite and fully transparent about charges etc . And got us to the airport in plenty of time . Highly recommend

That day in Phoenix they were on top of the search list. They came to us over near 11th st. downtown where we had dropped off our Turo car rental and took us back to the airport in plenty of time. It was 3am in the morning and I needed a ride to the airport. I was so grateful for his immediate availability. I called Uber and they required a 30 min reservation. I’ve never experienced that before. It was so helpful to have Jerry be there for me when I needed it. Thank you Jerry for your great customer service. I’m grateful.

We had scheduled with another cab company to pick us up @ 4 in the morning to go to the airport to catch a flight. When they didn’t show up we called Callmetaxicab. They were able to send a minivan to pick us up within 15 minutes. The driver, Gerry, was very courteous and helpful. He went out of his way to assist us at the airport gate, even calling over porter, to ensure that we wouldn’t miss our flight. Thank you Callmetaxi and Gerry! You will be who we schedule with next time.

I used this taxi service one morning in Phoenix to get from a downtown hotel to the airport. The driver was very pleasant, taxi was VERY clean and radio was playing classical music 🙂 I lost my receipt, but today (over a week later) I called and Jerry was able to provide me with a replacement receipt. These guys are reckless, careless drivers. Cab 309 pulled out in front of my vehicle, i slammed on my brakes HARD to avoid slamming into the back of him, then had the audacity to get into the next lane, slow down next to me and laugh. I called to report the driver to the business and the guy who answered said he would tell a manager tomorrow and hung up on me.

Tonight I had a family emergency and Elite came through! Driver was very professional drove good and got me to my destination and the cab was clean and comfortable.

The company is the heart of Sunnyslope neighborhood 15ave so they very bad drivers and I had many problems with about how they drive… they don’t use blinkers and they don’t understand the rules of driving I recommend not to be used.. your life will be in danger

These people left my 82 year old father in the street tried charging him 15 dollars each block and told me they only take cash because they aren’t documented I need to know how to get ahold of someone in management

They always show up within 15 minutes and have been very polite. Their English is not perfect but it’s not hard to communicate with them and they have been Very Polite and Reliable. The drivers that I had were not daredevils and dangerous drivers. Hopefully they don’t have those reckless drivers anymore. I have used their service three times in the past two weeks and I will call them again when I need a ride somewhere

I started using your services like a year ago to pick up my son from work to home and the guy who answers the phone told me since the beginning that they would charge my son 15 dollars for 6.9 miles and that’s what they did for a couple months then when they got different drivers they started charging 20 then 30 and then 40 which is ridiculous. Just because I trusted them (because friends of mine are closed friends with the owner and they reccomended me the service) I kept using them when needed but the different price each driver charges is ridiculous. Plus my son told me that one of the drivers was driving so fast and he got scared, but it would be nice if you guys charge a fair price and monitor more your drivers.

On days I only had cash and not enough money on my card to get a Lyft or Uber. I would call them up and they would take me to work or home. They are friendly and efficient. Not sure when I am able to use them again. But I will recommend to anyone who needs a taxi in the Phoenix Metro area. Thank you so much.

Terrible service from the get go. Where to start? They hung up on me at first rudely for no reason. I had to call several times to actually reach someone. Then when I finally do.. the guy on the line takes down my address wrong. I wasn’t aware until my driver picks me up and he starts heading the wrong way! We end up arguing about where he is taking me, which is absurd. I feel like if the customer tells you; “hey you are heading the wrong way” you should turn immediately and follow directions. The guy who took down my address wrong can’t even speak English right. Nothing against him, but if you are going to be a phone operator you need to understand the language to write it down correctly! He acts like I don’t know where I asked to go! He had to confirm over a phone call, and still charged me for him going the wrong way. Ridiculous. A 6 mile ride was 25. They are straight up crooks and I will never recommend their service to anyone or call them again. Also if the customer service is not enough to discourage you from calling these clowns..the vehicle I was picked up in was also dirty and looked like it just came out of a murder scene. I only used them because I was getting my new debit card in the mail.. so I couldn’t use lift or Uber. If cash is your only option, I suggest walking instead, or taking the bus then using this service. I wouldn’t wish this service on my worst enemy.

I rely on prompt cab service for my motorcycle rental customers. I’m writing this review because I have finally had it with this company. Their wait times are always at least twice what they originally say they will be. On one occasion I called for a van to take 5 adult customers with luggage to the airport. They sent a Prius, then tried to argue that I never asked for a van. The van showed up three hours after the original call while we were locking up for the night. The driver actually tried to get an attitude with US for not calling to cancel the cab. Today, I called for a normal pickup. After 45 minutes I called to get an ETA and was told that it hadn’t yet been assigned to a driver. Nice. The woman on the phone was slightly hostile when I asked how much longer my customers could be expected to wait. She said it would be another 10-15 minutes. Whatever. 20 minutes later I called back and was told that the order STILL hadn’t been assigned to a driver. I tried to express my customer’s urgency and only received more hostility from the woman on the phone, (not sure if it was the same person or not.) After more than an hour of dealing with these people, I called another company and they have already collected my customers, less than 10 minutes after my call.

Long story short, I guess Discount Cab has more business than they can handle. Good for them. I’m changing the cab company I use several times a week to one that might actually at least ACT like they value/ need our business.

Pro Tip for Discount Cab: Hire people that can speak intelligibly on the phone, and treat them well so that your potential customers can’t hear through the phone lines how much they hate working for you.

My car was in the shop and I called for a cab and they never showed. When I called to ask, they informed me no reservation had been made when I made it the day before. I informed the dispatcher I was about to miss an important appointment meeting and needed someone there ASAP. The dispatcher became rude and informed me that I would have to wait an hour they were busy and I should have made a reservation. I thought we went over this and I made one the day before. I asked her name and to speak to her supervisor, she hung up on me. I called corporate and they referred me to “Alex”. After leaving two messages, “Alex” never bothered to return my calls. They used to be a good and prompt company, no more. Discount Cab you lost a good customer. KMA.

I am completely done with Discount cab for all the reasons in the reviews below. Its interesting that you cant leave a review on Discount Cabs website.. Their promise says nothing about being prompt or reliable or anything about service to customers. I’ve spent too much time waiting for No Shows No Calls and being on hold 20-30 minutes.

I called the night before to order a cab ride for the morning of the next day. After waiting 10 min past my pick up time there wasn’t a cab yet. I called and they didn’t have a cab in my area (Mesa). Another 10 min went by and I called another cab company and then cancelled with “Discount Cab”. I needed to be at a location by a specific time, thus ordering the cab ahead of time. Now, I could be late to my appointment. Unappreciated! Will not call them again.

First I never have to use a cab so the fact that I had to use when to begin with was very frustrating. Then to have to deal with the service of this company was absolutely terrible. I’ve never been so frustrated about waiting because I’m a patient person and my vehicle. was just getting a oil change so I figured I use discount to get home real quick. I ended up just sitting at the down car shop the whole time. By time they got to me my oil change was over I got into my Challenger RT. And told the driver from discount to suck one as I drove off but gave him a quarter for his time. Use another company don’t waste your time with discount.

Las peores shuttles, dices que llegan a tal hora y se ponen a repartir a toda la gente sin avisar y te dejan esperando mucho. Y los choferes bien repugnantes, no las recomiendo para nada.

Primera ves que uso Morena Shuttle y la verdad excelente servicios de parte de la oficina y del chofer Fernando es muy amable, platicador y muy atento a sus pasajeros. En el futuro estare usando de nuevo a esta compania.

Pésimo servicio en el viaje de Nogales AZ a Phoenix marzo 8 ,2025 salida de las 5:30 pm . El chofer se portó súper grocero y me cobró a medio camino cuando paró a hechar gas y avía un acuerdo que le pagaría al llegar , no traía efectivo obviamente podía sacar del cajero pero me habló súper repugnante y todos los pasajeros se molestaron con el , y me dijo que el favor me lo estaba haciendo el , cual favor si se le está pagando no era gratis ,yo le dije que que arrogante y corriente era en hablarme así y lo dejé callado yo no me estaba negando a pagarle solo que el acuerdo fue cuando llegáramos. Si pudiera dar -5 los doy . Para la compañía tienen que saber a quien contratan porque a lo que veo en los reviews son puro pen los choferes.

Enero 25 2024 2:42 pm, compre mi boleto desde la 1:40pm por más que pregunte la hr de salida nomas me decían ya casi se va, ya éramos 3 pasajeros esperando vino saliendo alas 2:20 pm toda vía llevo a un pasajero al McDonald’s, y se regresa ala Oficina por un pasajero más cuando la shuttle ya venía llena. 2:35pm salió de Nogales. No vuelvo a usar su servicio

Bad business…. I was told my ride was one price , then we arrived to a gas station half way there they told me it was more. I called the customer service at the office and they didn’t care.
Why couldn’t we just do the price we agreed upon and then next time pay what “it actually was ” …

Awful service, unpunctual and there is no seatbealt. The vans are dirty, there is no air condition and the driver drives like if he had cows on the back. I know that is a collective service but I had to wait 3 hours on their office and the service was really bad. Also, IT took 6 hours to get to Nogales. I am very disappointed.
