Staffing Specialists

My experience was terrible. Craigslist post said to apply in person. I got there and was told the position was filled and they had nothing else at the time but if I wanted to fill out the application in case something else comes in. So did. She told me they don't take resumes which I thought was odd. After filling out the application the receptionist walked me back to someone else's office and began to interview me. Not the recruiter. 3 times she asked me a question about a prior job and when I answered she asked me "which job was that?". We discussed that I was a forklift operator at my last job but never discussed what type of forklift. Then she decides to say "for this position they want someone that has been operating a cherry picker in the last 2 years and you haven't". At that point I almost walked out. That should have been her first question. And truth is. I did operate a cherry picker at my last job which ended 4 months ago. I was completely baffled. I just said thank you and left. It's hard enough trying to find work right now without having my time wasted with incompetence
